Art in the modern sense takes the lead to reform the society through constant interaction with members in society. Therefore the works of Art should be understood as social compositions that are reconstructed creatively according to the social environmental impact. Recording, collecting and preserving the references are compulsory for the constant social reform, so the importance of Archive is stressed. However, the Art Archive in Korea is operating very limitedly just to provide simple references to the users. Thus, We need to seek for various ways and user-focused service to utilize the digitalized Art culture records, and need positive research on Art Archive to enhance the creative activities. So in this study, we subdivided the interactivity and applied TAM model. Our analysis on the effect on the purpose of use shows that the users need to be provided with useful informations easily for their creative activities. It also shows that the purpose of use increases through awareness of interactivity. However, the result of this study has a limit of the sample so further studies for the purpose is suggested.

작년 겨울쯤 발행된 책 중 앤 패디먼이 쓴 'Ex Libris 서재 결혼시키기'라는 책을 본 적이 있는가? 이 책 서문에 저자가 한 말들이 참 인상적이다. '책은 선반 가운데가 내려앉은 내 책꽂이들을 빽뺵하게 채우고 있는 그 수많은 잡동사니로부터 내가 창조하려고 했던 그 전체이다' 또한 '책들은 우리의 삶의 이야기를 써 나간다. 책들이 우리 서가에(또 창틀에, 소파 밑에, 냉장고 위에) 쌓이면서 그 한 권 한 권이 우리 삶의 이야기의 한 장을 구성하게 된다.'라고 읊조리고 있다. 우리의 삶을 대변해주는 책... 우리는 책을 통해 삶을 제대로 살기 위한 많은 것을 얻고 배운다. 즉, 책을 읽는다는 건 인생을 제대로 살아가는 법을 배우는 것... 자신의 내면에 깊숙이 존재하는 잠재력을 깨우기 위해 여행을 떠나는 것이 아닌가? 자신과 닮은꼴인 책... 그런 책을 내 분신과 같이 좀 더 소중하게 여기고 가깝게 느낄 수 있는 특별한 만남을 갖기 위해 장서표와 예술제본에 대해 알아보았다.

The commemorative AR postage stamps which are the world first presented at The YEOSU EXPO 2012 has had meaning of communicating with future in this present from a convergence that the most analog medium is using now and that the AR is cutting edge of digital technology. The AR stamps printed 10 kind out of 33 commemorative stamps. These have great significance that is artistic value than that is world first. The applied AR images are not only expressed 3D real images but also artic represented and signifying each stamp images from visualized creativity process, and build 'new art space' that is new concept between on real(analog) and virtual(digital). This study analyzes meaning of images and then makes concept of AR contents design. The processing is designed and considered the meaning of architectures and environments, and the regional specific feature of the Yeosu with surrealistic graphic concept. The 10 of deducted images were expressed after AR coding such as visual arts. This study realized markerless 3D image tracking AR stamps and deducted research result are; the first, it was able to figure out how to realize AR in the process of registering the reference images, coordinating transformation, and hybriding AR on the stamps for the mobile devices. The second, it was able to be seeked a possibility of new virtual exhibition space. The third, it was able to know possibility of satisfaction of immersing with visual formativeness and usability with informativity.

The purpose of this study is to derive the characteristics of the creative process of convergence performing arts. Therefore, the PADAF-Play and Dance Art Festival, a representative convergence performing arts festival in Korea that has been held steadily every year since the first event in 2011, was selected as the subject of the study. Through PADAF, a representative convergence performing arts festival in Korea, qualitative case studies were selected through process-oriented discovery to study the characteristics of the creative process of convergence performing arts, which is a key feature of performing arts in the 21st century. For realistic and empirical research, the 8th and 9th PADAF participated in the entire process from the initial stage of preparation to the closing ceremony and conducted several in-depth interviews with PADAF officials and participating artists. Looking at the characteristics of the convergence performance art creation process through PADAF, creators overcame difficulties that they had not thought of in different ways in the process of meeting different heterogeneous genres, but through understanding other genres, experiential values through convergence, sharing as collaborators, and various ways of communication. The characteristics of the convergence performing arts creation process, which is focused on PADAF, are "Rhizom thinking" by French philosopher Gilles Deleuze(1925-1995), "Collective intelligence," and "Experimental Value for Experimental Creation" by creators. Through this derivation, we will help the changing performing arts scene based on the basic human desire to understand convergence performance art a little more and communicate through the extended expression of convergence.

A new relation between technological changes and arts is begins to create by the modernization of the West. Because the arts in the past that were enjoyed by specific individuals and small number of people are now massively produced via technological development, public acceptance of such arts is now possible. In this study, movement between each frame, which can be the core in animation, is investigated. We can see that the animation's cinematic movement cannot be identified with motions reproduced in live action films, let alone the motions in real world, no matter how the reproduced motions in animation are faithfully made. In the end, while crating the detailed expressions of movement of animation, along with cinema factors, and the continuity of such expressions, we can gradually exert the power of animation art form with enlivened reality that only animation has.

The purpose of this study was to explore the ecological aesthetic features and the implications for ecological landscape design by analyzing the design philosophy and ecological artworks of Patricia Johanson, an ecological artist. Literature review and a field visit were conducted to investigate Johanson's four art projects that express the functional purpose, artistry, and locality of symbiosis with nature and restoration of ecosystem habitats. As the results of analysis, first, Johanson's work created 'functional art work' and 'artistic infrastructure'. Second, the historical and regional characteristics were expressed artistically and symbolically. Third, Johanson is characterized by connecting humans and nature through the publicity of works of art, and raising the awareness of preservation of nature and environment among the community and children. Johanson's innovative works can provide inspiration for landscape architects pursuing functional and sustainable landscape design.

Culture and art are emerging as main components in the creative economy to enhance the competitiveness of urban centres in the global market by nurturing cultural or artistic industries. A range of research exists which investigates the role of artists and art museums in the process of urban regeneration in Northern American and Western European countries. Yet research into the geography of at galleries acting as an intermediary between art works and cultural consumers remain rare. Empirical research on gentrification and urban regeneration and their connection with spaces for cultural consumption in Asian cities is even less common. The aim of this paper is to show the rise and decline of art galleries in Seoul and the way that this reflects urban development process, historically specific conditions and the characteristics of artists' communities. The background of the locational agglomeration of an galleries is examined in connection with the human ecology of artists, art business and its implication for the global market. The location of art galleries in Seoul seems to be affected by commercial art business and public policy, rather than by artists communities embedded in local areas. The location dynamics of art gallery clusters in Seoul is examined in the context of rent increases, changes of consumers' taste and fluctuating market cycles.

Lu Xun was closely bounded with art since he was young, and he had a thorough knowledge of art. This treatise discerned how Lu Xun substituted and expressed his emotion through his work of art, and what was characteristic of his selection and combination of colors. Truly, color is related to statement of human mind. Lu Xun expressed certain color either consciously or unconsciously when he created human figure. The group of black in human figure in his art is representative example of it. Lu Xun always used heavy and dark color to emphasize human figure so that people can assume their lives and character. This artistic mentality or, great choice of art, relates to Lu Xun's individual life and state of mind. However, Lu Xun did not always choose dark color. Sometimes he looked squarely at darkness and tried to pursue bright color presupposing 'hope' at the same time.

This study investigated the comical essence of animations and the comicality found in Korean animations focusing on the comical elements signifying the promotion of laughing and its meaning. In addition, it has been found from this study that the comical essence of animations was the laughing that expanded the recognition and awareness for the entity to be revived, by suggesting the following: 1) the fact that the laughing would be unexpected and it would stimulate the imagination of audience in unprecedented situations in which the method of creation would be unthinkable and thereby the laughing occurred would endow audience with thought, feeling and sense etc. that would not have been perceived so far; and 2) furthermore, the ideal world through grotesque expressions. Meanwhile, unlike the general preconception that animations would be considered one of the popular art forms with strong comical elements, it has been noted that there have been a very few Korean animations with strong comical elements. Besides, it has been confirmed that they have focused not on created and grotesque comicality, but on linguistic comicality based on the forms of characters or their movement itself, or humor and witty remarks.

This study focuses on an innate 'spiritual' quality of arts including building art, or a meaning of the religious philosophy of 'creativity-art'. In particular, this focuses, among two aspects in roots of modernism, especially on the irrational facet veiled by the name of 'a new' religious faith, rather than the rational such as the function. In fact, although modern Avant-gardes' religious philosophical faiths called by different names respectively have generally considered as one of the sources for their designs, nevertheless it had veiled because of the religious 'orthodoxy power' at that time. Arguably, as known well, the creativity of art is intimate relation with a religious ideas. Thus, for this purpose, this study treats this theme in central these three issues; Orientalism, Universalism, and Froebelianism which are intimate in the realm of religious philosophy. Ultimately, through a research on the universal religious philosophy in all three objects as keeping a quality not of pantheism but of 'Panentheism' emphasizing the individual's 'divine' artistic volition, this study deepens the understanding on the Creativity-art as the main characteristic of modernity. Namely, it is very important to draw a distinction between pantheism and Panentheism; because, through the pantheism, it is difficult to comprehend a stream and a characteristic of the twentieth new religious thoughts including those of modern avant-garde artists, as well as their existential free-will as a whole.
