An Integrated Management Platform, which plays a core role in managing u-City, intelligently control various infra-structure components by accommodating a large number of sensors and devices; and analyzing data received from these sensors and devices through wired/wireless sensor networks. In this paper, the services provided by the integrated management platform for u-City are classified into common application service, operational management service, and platform gateway service, and furthermore detailed functions for each service are defined. These functions, through their roles and information flows, will clarify the requirements of the integrated management platform, and through their addition and modification will be utilized as a reference model for the functional organization of the integrated management platform.

It is necessary to identify the use cases of the supplier systems in order to define new service using their functions. Current use case modeling techniques, however, do not represent the external use cases clearly, because the external system is represented only by an actor. This ambiguity of the modeling technique declines the comprehensiveness of the model, and does not limit the scope of the target system explicitly. In this paper, we propose the extended use case modeling technique for service-oriented computing. This modeling technique enables the definition of external use cases and components. They are used to limit the boundary of the target system, and the relationship between them are modeled by the realization of external use cases. The proposed technique uses UML stereotype extension mechanism. so the compatibility with current use case modeling technique is preserved.

텔레매틱스 서비스의 주요 기술 중 하나가 텔레매틱스 단말과 관련된 기술이다. IT의 급속한 발전과 다양한 기술의 컨버젼스는 텔레매틱스 서비스의 첨단화를 가지고 올 것이다. 따라서, 텔레매틱스 단말에 대한 정확한 기술적 범위 및 다양한 환경에 대한 상호운용성 및 확장성을 고려한 개방형의 시스템이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 텔레매틱스 단말 플랫폼 환경을 구축하는데 있어서, 핵심인 텔레매틱스 단말 S/W플랫폼의 요구기능에 대하여 설계하였다. 이는 텔레매틱스 단말 표준화 추진의 일환으로 국내 표준 아키텍쳐 설계를 기반하여, 현재 ETRI를 중심으로 연구개발 중인 텔레매틱스 단말 플랫폼 기술개발과 국제 관련 기술개발 현황 등을 고려한, 상호 운용성 및 확장성이 가능한 개방형 텔레매틱스 단말 플랫폼의 요구기능을 정의한 것이다. 이는 국내 시장뿐만 아니라, 국제적으로 부재한 텔레매틱스 단말 플랫폼의 아키텍쳐 설계 및 API 개발을 통해 국제경쟁력 강화에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다.

This paper provides a model which is used for SOA based system's quality evaluation. This model make evaluation with "Reliability, Usability, Efficiency, Usability and Maintainability", these five aspects which were reference from ISO/IEC 9126. A systems based on SOA was tested by this model in these five aspects. As the results of the evaluation this system satisfied 61.45% users including Service Requester and Service Registry.

UTagger는 한국어 의미 처리를 위해 개발된 형태소분석기이며 의미 분열 기능도 가지고 있다. 정확률이 매우 높고 다앙한 기능을 갖추고 있으나 이전에 개발된 다른 형태소 분석기에 비하여 속도가 느리다는 단점을 가지고 있었다. 형태소 분석기의 빠른 속도는 많은 분야에서 요구되고 있기 때문에 본 논문에서는 UTagger의 정확률을 유지하면서 속도를 향상시키는 캐시(Cache) 방법과, 정확률을 조금 낮추면서 향상시키는 다앙한 방법들을 제시한다. 또한 상황에 따라 적합한 방법을 선택할 때 참조가 되도록 하기 위해 각 방법들 실험 결과를 정리한다.

최근 이동통신 시장의 급속한 발전은 모바일 단말기를 통한 다양한 부가서비스에 대한 필요성을 증대시켰다. 특히, 친구찾기와 같은 개인의 위치추적을 위한 서비스가 새로운 Killer-application으로 인식되면서 빠른 시장성을 예측하고 있다. 이러한 서비스에 대한 기술은 일반 대중뿐만 아니라 긴급구조시스템, 재난관리시스템 등 공공 및 개인의 안전과 효율적인 자원의 관리를 위한 국가 정보 인프라로서 정보통신 기술 활용 등 사회적인 요구 증가에 부합된다. 본 연구는 무선 이동통신망을 이용하여 긴급한 환경에 처해있는 개인 가입자의 위치를 파악하고 신속히 대처 할 수 있는 무선긴급서비스를 위해 요구되는 기능 및 조건의 기술규격 설계 등에 관한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 국내외 표준을 충분히 수용한 모바일 환경에서 무선긴급서비스의 1)기술규격 범위 및 네트워크 참조 모델을 정의하고 2) 제시된 네트워크 모델의 코어 망과 긴급구조 서비스 망에 대한 기능 정의 및 요구조건에 대해 설계하고자 한다.

U-City 운영의 중심 역할을 담당하는 통합운영센터는 유무선 통신망, 센서망을 연결하여 각종 센서 및 장치들을 수용하고, 다양한 정보를 통합적으로 수집 분석을 통하여, 각종 인프라 요소들을 지능적으로 관제 운영한다. 이와 같은 통합운영센터의 역할을 반영하고 다양한 기능과 서비스를 수행하는 기반 플랫폼이 통합운영센터 플랫폼이다. 본 논문에서는 플랫폼이 가져야 할 기능을 세가지 영역(공통 어플리케이션 서비스, 운용관리 서비스, 플랫폼 게이트웨이 서비스)으로 구분한 참조 모델을 제시하고, 각 서비스 별 세부 기능을 정의한다.

이 논문은 병렬 공유 메모리 시스템의 성능을 정확하게 평가할수 있으며 MIT의 Proteus 시뮬레이터의 기능을 확장한 시뮬레이터인 Trojan 에 대해 언급한다. 이 논문에서 언급되는 trojan 의 주요한 기능으로는 다음과 같다. 첫째, Trojan 은 프로세스 기반 응용 프로그램(예를 들어 SPLASH)과 쓰레드 기반 응용 프로그램들(예를 들어 SPLASH2) 에 대해 효율적 시뮬레이션을 제공한다. 둘째, 수행 구동 시뮬레이터 중에 처음으로 가상 메모리 시뮬레이션 기능이 구현되었다. 실제 운영체제의 가상 메모리 시스템과 하드웨어 시스템과의 상호작용 및 가상 메모리 시스템의 성능을 평가할수 있게 되었다. 기존의 공유 메모리 시뮬레이터들은 공유 메모리를 참조하기위해서 시뮬레이터 자체가 제공하는 문법에 맞게 변경해야만 하는 단점이 있다. 이 논문에서처럼 Trojan 시뮬레이터는 캐쉬동작, 네트웍통신양, 다주프로세서 시스템 설계,그리고 병렬 공유 응용 프로그램동작 및 성능 연구에 효율적이고 폭넓게 사용되고 있다.

기업환경은 지속적으로 변화하고 있으며, 그 변화의 주기도 짧아지고 있다. 그리고 시스템은 어떠한 비즈니스 요구사항에도 유연하고 민첩하게 지원할 수 있어야 한다. 따라서 변화에 대한 신속한 대응을 위해 UML 방법론을 참조한 CASE 도구의 기능적 요구사항을 제시함으로 화면 설계 표준과 테스트 기능을 지원함으로써 짧아지는 시스템 개발 주기와 고객의 요구사항을 신속하게 대응할 수 있는 표준화된 User Interface Diagram 으로 활용한다.

It is widely known that the hippocampus plays an important role in spatial memory. Recent studies have suggested that the posterior parietal cortex (PPC) is involved in spatial memory. However it is unclear whether the PPC is involved in w working memory or reference memory of spatial learning. The purpose of the present study was to determine contribution of the hippocampus and the PPC to spatial working memory and acquisition of reference memory. Using an eight-arm radial maze in which e each arm was baited. working memory was tested by measuring rat's ability to remember arms they had visited. Reference memory was tested by measuring rat's ability to avoid visiting four consistently unbaited arms. Effects of hippocampal or PPC lesion on working memory or acquisition of reference memory in radial-arm maze learning were investigated Working memory was impaired by hippocampal lesion whereas not affected by PPC lesion. Acquisition of reference memory was impaired by lesion in either site. The results suggest that the hippocampus plays an important role in the spatial working memory while both the hippocampus and the PPC contribute to the acquisition of spatial reference memory.
