To analyze multidimensional data conveniently and efficiently, OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing) systems or e-business are widely using views in a horizontal form to represent measurement values over multiple dimensions. These views can be stored as materialized views derived from several sources in order to support accesses to the integrated data. The horizontal views can provide effective accesses to complex queries of OLAP or e-business. However, we have a problem of occurring maintenance of the horizontal views since data sources are distributed over remote sites. We need a method that propagates the changes of source tables to the corresponding horizontal views. In this paper, we address incremental maintenance of horizontal views that makes it possible to reflect the changes of source tables efficiently. We first propose an overall framework that processes queries over horizontal views transformed from source tables in a vertical form. Under the proposed framework, we propagate the change of vertical tables to the corresponding horizontal views. In order to execute this view maintenance process efficiently, we keep every change of vertical tables in a differential file and then modify the horizontal views with the differential file. Because the differential file is represented as a vertical form, its tuples should be converted to those in a horizontal form to apply them to the out-of-date horizontal view. With this mechanism, horizontal views can be efficiently refreshed with the changes in a differential file without accessing source tables. Experimental results show that the proposed method improves average performance by 1.2$\sim$5.0 times over the existing methods.

In the Next Generation Internet(NGI) backbone network, a Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology has been more and more highlighted to cover the increasing subscribers and bandwidth requirement. For such a DWDM network, Routine and Wavelength Assignment (RWA) is the essential problem to establish the optimal path and assign a wavelength efficiently to the selected path in resource utilization. However, the existing RWA algorithms do not consider the congestion in the network so that the performance of then is so limited. To solve this problem, in this paper, we introduce a new RWA algorithm, called Multi Wavelength-Minimum Interference path Routing (MW-MIPR) that establishes a routing path to minimize the interference for many potential future connection setup request. And then, we also propose a wavelength-routed QoS routing scheme based on differentiated QoS classes with applying MW-MIPR algorithm. Simulation results are also given to prove the efficiency of the proposed algorithms.

현재 국방전산망은 인터넷과 마찬가지로 Best Effort 서비스만을 지원하고 있으나 급속도로 발전하는 외부의 미래 네트워크 환경에 대비하여 지속적으로 진화가 추진되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 미래 국방전산망의 요구사항인 서비스의 차별화에 관점을 두고 신속하고 신뢰성 있는 중요 의사결정 자료 전송을 위해 국방전산망에 ATM기반 MPLS 기술을 적용하여 군 기능별 차등서비스 제공방안 및 서비스 우선순위에 따른 트래픽 재 할당에 대하여 제안 하고자 한다.

One of main benefits of a dual polarization radar is improvement of quantitative rainfall estimation. In this paper, performance of two representative rainfall estimation methods for a dual polarization radar, JPOLE and CSU algorithms, have been compared by using data from a MOLIT S-band dual polarization radar. In addition, this paper presents evaluation of specific differential phase ($K_{dp}$) retrieval algorithm proposed by Lim et al. (2013). Current $K_{dp}$ retrieval methods are based on range filtering technique or regression analysis. However, these methods can result in underestimating peak $K_{dp}$ or negative values in convective regions, and fluctuated $K_{dp}$ in low rain rate regions. To resolve these problems, this study applied the $K_{dp}$ distribution method suggested by Lim et al. (2013) and evaluated by adopting new $K_{dp}$ to JPOLE and CSU algorithms. Data were obtained from the Mt. Biseul radar of MOLIT for two rainfall events in 2012. Results of evaluation showed improvement of the peak $K_{dp}$ and did not show fluctuation and negative $K_{dp}$ values. Also, in heavy rain (daily rainfall > 80 mm), accumulated daily rainfall using new $K_{dp}$ was closer to AWS observation data than that using legacy $K_{dp}$, but in light rain(daily rainfall < 80mm), improvement was insignificant, because $K_{dp}$ is used mostly in case of heavy rain rate of quantitative rainfall estimation algorithm.

원가계산체계의 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 원가계산기준의 심의.적용건의.유권해석을 위한 원가계산기준 심의 기구 설립과 관련규정의 원가인정범위 확대를 위한 법규 및 실무규칙 개정이 필수적이다. 전통적 원계산시스템을 보완할 새로운 원가계산시스템의 수용 미 개발, 정교한 원가시스템 측정에 의한 원가인정, 방산업체의 경영환경 변화에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있고 간접비의 비중 증가의 수용을 고려한 원가보상 개념의 정립과 합리적인 배분기준에 의한 제비율 산정이 개선되어야 한다. 신규 및 첨단무기체계의 투자기회 부여와 업체의 노력에 대한 성과를 반영하고 경쟁확대 측면에서 확정계약의 유인을 위한 차등 이윤적용에 따른 현실적인 이윤산정체계의 개선이 이루어져야 한다.

This study presents some empirical results on variable rate deposit insurance premium in Korea. The study estimates deposit insurance premium for all insured financial institutions in Korea using Ronn and Verma(1986) model which is based on Merton(1977)'s option pricing model. The sample period is 1995-2001 and the study includes trend analysis and cross-sectional analysis for premium estimation. The study also includes the correlation analysis between the estimates and profitability and capitalvariables such as BIS capital ratios, ROE and ROA. The results show that the estimates differ across financial institutions and sample periods. Thus it supports that each deposit premium should reflect its own risks. It also supports the necessity for the system of variable rate deposit insurance premium.

대한중소병원협의회는 중소병원계의 최대 현안인 간호인력난 문제를 해결하기 위해 2007년 7월에「간호인력 수급 및 간호관리료 차등제 실태 조사」를 실시했다. 이는 근거(evidence)를 바탕으로 한 정책적 건의를 하기 위한 것이었다. 중소병협은 이 조사 보고서를 복지부에 건의한 결과 (1) 일부 군 지역(소득세법시행규칙상 의료취약지역)에 한해 7등급제 적용 유보 (2) 광역시를 제외한 지역에 소재한 병원 7등급 감산율을 5%에서 2%로 하향조정 (3) 요양병원 간호관리료 산정시 AN인력 포함 등의 성과를 거두었다. 중소병협은 중소병원계의 간호인력난 문제를 보다 더 근본적으로 해결하기 위해 현재 행정소송을 준비 중에 있다. 중소병협의 이러한 노력의 하나로 이루어진 간호인력난 실태 조사 보고서(요약본)를 게재한다.

유무선 통신기술의 발달로 멀티미디어 스트리밍 서비스의 이용이 증가함에 따라 비디오 스트리밍 기법에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 끊김 없는 스트리밍 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 네트워크의 상태와 클라이언트의 버퍼 상태를 고려한 전송률 조절 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 네트워크의 상태와 클라이언트의 버퍼 상태를 기반으로 전송 비디오의 프레임 수를 우선순위에 따라 차등적으로 폐기함으로써 전송률을 조절한다. 제안 기법을 적용한 스트리밍 시스템을 구현하고 실험을 통해 끊김 없는 비디오의 전송을 확인할 수 있었다.

본 논문에서는 지능형 여행 정보 제공을 위해 제주여행 온톨로지를 구축하여 사용자별 맞춤형 여행정보 제공 및 검색을 위한 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 기존의 일반 검색이 제한된 정보에 대한 키워드 매칭이 라면, 온톨로지 기반 검색은 키워드 검색, 사전에 의한 확장 검색, 지식입력에 의한 검색이 모두 가능하여 좀 더 지능적 검색이라 할 수 있겠다. 이러한 온톨로지 검색의 장정으로는 속성값, 분류, 메타 정보 등 관련된 여행정보를 모두 활용할 수 있다는 것과. 유사어 활용이 가능하다는 것이다. 또한 검색 어휘의 역할에 따른 차등적인 가중치값 등을 적용하여 Many-Answers-Problem 해결할 수 있다. 즉, 가장 관련 있는 정보를 상위에 랭크시켜 사용자의 체감 정확률을 향상시킬 수 있다.

2차 전지는 충방전이 용이하여 적용분야가 급격히 늘어 나고 있으며 대표적으로 납축 배터리를 기반으로 장비등이 제작 사용 되고 있다. 기술의 발전으로 리튬 계열의 2차 전지가 출시 되면서 자동차, 드론등에서 사용되고 있으나 기존 장비와의 전압차등이 존재하여 기존 장비에 적용하기에는 어려움이 있다. 이러한 문제를 모듈 개념을 도입하여 단위 모듈을 기존 납축 전지의 전압에 준하여 구성하고 전류를 최대한 구성하는 방식으로 구성하면 기존 장비 및 신규 장비에 적용이 가능한 방법을 찾을 수 있다.
