Effects of Crisis History & Crisis Information Disclosure on Corporate Trust among Chinese Consumers: Focus on Corporate Ability Crisis & CSR Crisis (위기 이력과 위기공개 타이밍이 중국 소비자의 기업 신뢰에 미치는 영향: 기업 능력 위기와 CSR 위기 중심으로)

  • Negative perceptions about corporate social responsibility (CSR) crises and repeated crises are increasing. It is necessary to examine the effects of a proactive strategy of disclosing crisis information against the negative perceptions. The research is intended to analyze ability-based trust, and benevolence-based trust by crisis type, crisis history, and timing of crisis disclosure. In this regard, a 2 (crisis history: present vs. absent) x 2 (crisis type: corporate ability crisis vs CSR crisis) x 2 (timing of crisis disclosure: stealing thunder vs thunder) between-groups design experiment was conducted. Research results show crisis type and crisis history have significant interaction effects on ability-based trust. In the CSR crisis, the case with crisis history shows lower ability-based trust than the case without crisis history. Timing of crisis disclosure showed significant interactions with crisis history and crisis type. The stealing thunder strategy heigntened ability-based trust and benevolence-based trust against the CSR crises and the cases without crisis history more than the corporate ability crises and the cases with crisis history. Considering that the stealing thunder strategy is more effective with the CSR crises than the corporate ability crises, the research results suggest that future CSR crisis responses should prepare active disclosure of crisis information before news media disclosure of such information.

Effect of Risk Perception of Horticultural Facility Farmers on the Purchase Intention Insurance -Focusing on Jeju island - (원예시설 농가의 위험지각이 보험 구매의도에 미치는 영향 - 제주도를 중심으로 -)

  • Horticultural facility farmers subscribe to crop accident insurance and insurance products secured by horticultural facilities in preparation for possible risks in the facility. Insurance is purchased to prepare for natural disasters such as typhoons, hail, frostbite, heavy rain, and strong wind damage covered by the product. In order to find out the effect of risk perception, which is a subjective perception of the risks of a given situation, on horticultural facility farmers' intention to purchase horticultural facility insurance products, the risk perception and insurance purchase intention were analyzed. A t-test was conducted to determine the impact relationship between farm size, insurance coverage, and risk perception, and multiple regression analysis was conducted to verify the effect of personal characteristics and behavioral factors such as subjective perception, reference group, media exposure, and compensation understanding. In addition, a three-step regression analysis by Baron & Kenny was conducted to confirm the mediating role of personal characteristics and behavioral factors in the relationship between risk perception and insurance purchase intention. As a result of the study, although there was no difference in farm size, it was analyzed that policy holders had a higher degree of risk perception than non-subscribers, and that compensation understanding had the greatest influence and subjective knowledge had the smallest influence. In addition, these four factors were verified to have a mediating effect on the relationship between risk perception and insurance purchase intention. These results are expected to provide practical help to the development and marketing activities of horticultural facility insurance products.

Effectiveness of PBL Based on Flipped Learning for Middle School English Classes (플립드러닝 기반 PBL 모형 중학교 영어 수업의 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop middle school English classes using Problem-Based Learning(PBL) based on flipped learning and to examine its effects. Recently, various attempts to combine flipped learning and PBL have been made; however, many studies have not been applied to middle and high school curriculums yet. The attempt of this study is expected to have theoretical and practical significance. The instructional model was derived from the review of previous studies, and the development of instructional program followed the general design procedure(analysis-design-development-implement-evaluation), and its validity was secured with the advice of related experts. To verify the effectiveness of the program, the English academic achievement test and the English key competency test were conducted before and after the program. Changes in English academic achievement were analyzed by the paired-sample t-test, and the effect of key competency and the level of achievement test performance (high vs, low) on the pre-post score change was analyzed by the mixed effects repeated measures ANOVA. As a result of the analysis, both academic achievement and key competencies increased, and the low-level students in the pre-academic achievement test showed more improvements. In conclusion, the PBL class based on flipped learning is effective in improving the English academic achievement and key competencies of middle school students, and in particular, it is shown to be an effective teaching method for students with low academic achievement.

The Effects of Educational Contents and Organizational Characteristics on Learning Transfer and Organizational Effectiveness: Targeting Franchise Companies (교육콘텐츠 특성과 조직 특성이 학습전이 및 조직효과성에 미치는 영향 : 프랜차이즈 기업을 중심으로)

  • Because of the need of actual performance of education, this study aims to understand how the factors of educational content and organizational characteristics affect organizational commitment and work performance, which are organizational effects, through learning transfer. As a result, task value, job relevance, and organizational compensation had a significant effect on learning transfer, learning transfer had a significant effect on organizational commitment and work performance, and organizational commitment had a significant effect on work performance. In order to increase the learning transfer of education, when specifying the connection with the actual job and strengthening the compensation system of the members, the learning transfer can be increased and eventually connected to performance. Since limited variables are considered, a more representative sample or professional group should be extracted through future research. In future studies, it will be possible to closely grasp the relationship between learning transfer and organizational effectiveness by setting representative samples and specifying variables.

A comparison study of Nursing Process Competence, Critical Thinking Disposition and Education Satisfaction between Clinical Practicum and School Practicum (임상실습과 교내실습 간의 간호과정 자신감, 비판적 사고 성향, 교육 만족도에 대한 비교 연구)

  • This study was conducted to confirm the differences in nursing process competence, critical thinking disposition, and education satisfaction between clinical practicum and school practicum in the prolonged COVID19 pandemic. As an inequality control post-hoc design study, 55 students who agreed to participate in the study among the third year of nursing college students who took adult nursing practice were targeted. Data were collected by classifying the students who participated in the school practicum into the experimental group(N=29) and the students who participated in the clinical practicum into the control group(N=26). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. As a result of the study, there was no significant difference in nursing process competence and critical thinking disposition between the two groups. However, in the control group, overall satisfaction with education (t=-9.82, p=.040) and recommendations to other students (t=-1.88, p<.001) were found to be significantly higher. Although it was not possible to confirm the difference between the effects of clinical practicum and school practicum as a result of the study, the significance of the study could be found in that there was no difference. In line with the post-corona era, future research on the development of a practicum program consisting of various contents, teaching methods, and practice to achieve the goal of practicum and analysis of the effectiveness of the program is suggested.

One-health Approach in the Post-COVID-19 Era: Focusing on Animal Infection (One-health 관점에서 본 Post-COVID-19 시대의 동물 감염)

  • To prepare for the threat of a future epidemic in the post-COVID-19 era, research based on the one-health concept (i.e., the health of humans, animals, and the environment as "one") is essential. Cross-species infections are being identified as a result of the high infection rate and viral load of SARS-CoV-2 in humans. The possibility of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 from humans to mink has been determined. In addition, the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 from humans to cats through contact has been considered possible. The data so far show that livestock and poultry are less likely to be infected with SARS-CoV-2. However, if infections are established through a new mutation, the resulting diseases are expected to have enormous ripple effects on various fields, such as human food security, the economy, and trade. In addition, there are concerns about the endemic prospect of SARS-CoV-2 and the high accessibility of companion animals. This is because the evolution of the virus likely occurs in animal hosts. Once SARS-CoV-2 is established in other species, they might serve as intermediate hosts for the re-emergence of the virus in the human population. Thus, it is necessary to ensure a rapid response to future outbreaks by accumulating research data on the animal infection of SARS-CoV-2. These data can have implications for the development of animal models for vaccines and therapeutics against SARS-CoV-2. Therefore, in this study, epidemiological reviews were analyzed, and response strategies against SARS-CoV-2 infection in animals were presented using the One-health approach.

Movie Recommended System base on Analysis for the User Review utilizing Ontology Visualization (온톨로지 시각화를 활용한 사용자 리뷰 분석 기반 영화 추천 시스템)

  • Recently, researches for the word of mouth(WOM) imply that consumers use WOM informations of products in their purchase process. This study suggests methods using opinion mining and visualization to understand consumers' opinion of each goods and each markets. For this study we conduct research that includes developing domain ontology based on reviews confined to "movie" category because people who want to have watching movie refer other's movie reviews recently, and it is analyzed by opinion mining and visualization. It has differences comparing other researches as conducting attribution classification of evaluation factors and comprising verbal dictionary about evaluation factors when we conduct ontology process for analyzing. We want to prove through the result if research method will be valid. Results derived from this study can be largely divided into three. First, This research explains methods of developing domain ontology using keyword extraction and topic modeling. Second, We visualize reviews of each movie to understand overall audiences' opinion about specific movies. Third, We find clusters that consist of products which evaluated similar assessments in accordance with the evaluation results for the product. Case study of this research largely shows three clusters containing 130 movies that are used according to audiences'opinion.

Reexamination of Coach-Athlete Relationship Maintenance Scale in Pro Baseball (프로야구 코치-선수관계 유지 척도 재검증)

  • The purpose of this study was to prove a development and initial validation of the korean version of coach-athlete relationship maintenance scale that originated from the work of Rhind & Jowett(2012) in pro baseball. The items were then administered to 132 Participants(29 coaches and 103 athletes) completed the questionnaires of the coach-athlete relationship maintenance in First preliminary investigation. Maximum likelihood estimate was used to identify the latent underlying structure. In order to verify the validity of Korean version of coach-athlete relationship maintenance was administered to an independent sample of 273 coaches and athletes. Pro baseball coach-athlete relationship maintenance is consisted of six factors(25 items) with conflict management, motivational, preventative, openness/assurance, support, and social network. SPSS18.0 and AMOS16.0 were used to analyze the exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factory analysis and internal consistency, test-retest with bootstrapping using of the data in this study. The results of the pro baseball coach-athlete relationship maintenance scale had six factors with 25 items, and each six factor was positively correlated. Overall, this study verified pro baseball coach-athlete relationship maintenance questionnaire. Thus, suggest that path of comparing the differences between the first division and farm team by using the test of the structural model invariance across the groups.

The Effect of Eating with Others on Depression among Community-dwelling Older Adults by Family Arrangement (가구 유형별 동반식사가 노인의 우울에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the effects of eating with others on depressive symptoms among the community-dwelling older adults by family arrangement, using the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 7th (2016). A total of 1,233 older adults aged over 65 was included in this analysis. Eating status (alone / with others) and family arrangement (living alone / living with family) were dichotomized based on the original questionnaire. Among 955 older adults who live with family members, 855 persons (89.5%) eat together and 100 persons (10.5%) eat alone. Among 278 older adults who live alone, 86 persons (30.9%) eat together and 69 persons (69.1%) eat alone. Regression analysis controlling for demographic and health related factors, eating with others was significantly related to lower levels of depressive symptoms in the group of older adults who live with family members (β = -1.663, p <.001), while there is no statistical significance (β = -0.856, p = .148) in the counterpart. Therefore, various types of community-based programs need to be developed to encourage older adults to eat with other in their ordinary lives. It is also recommended that the community has to offer consistent care and support for the elderly particularly who live alone.

The Relations among Rape Myth, Types of Sex Role, and Exposure to Sexually Obscene Material (강간 통념 수용도, 성 역할 태도 및 음란물 접촉 간의 관계 )

  • The present study tried to explore relations among rape myth, types of sex role, and exposure of sexually obscene material. The specific purposes of this study were investigate (a) if there are differences in the degree of acceptance of a rape myth according to gender, school grades and types of sex role in participants, (b) whether the acceptance of rape myth are different by the types of sex role, and (c) whether the acceptance of rape myth is related with exposure of sexually obscene material. A total of 723 students in middle, high school, and university completed a questionnaire survey. The results of this study are as follows. First, male students accepted rape myth more than female students. In the level of male students, there were significant differences in acceptance of rape myth among three school students(middle, high school, and university). Secondly, types of sex role were not related with the acceptance of rape myth. Thirdly, the correlation between their exposure of sexually obscene material and the acceptance of rape myth was significantly high in middle school male students. Finally, implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
