A Study on Trip Chain Typed Selection Behavior (통행사슬유형 선택행태에 관한 연구)

  • Using 2006 metropolitan household travel survey data, this study analyzes trip behaviors based on a concept of trip chains using both trip purpose and number of trip linkages. For the analysis, trip chains are classified into two groups depending on including commute trips. Each group is further classified into a single linkage (i.e., Origin-Destination trips without any intermediate stop-by) and multiple linkages (Origin-Destination trip with at least one intermediate stop-by). The analysis is conducted using the two-step Nested Logit Model. Computational results identifying the characteristics of single and multiple linkages show that the young, male and office employee drivers tend to have more multiple linkages than single linkages in their trips. In contrast, it is shown that a driver whose monthly income is less than 3,000,000 Korean Won with a longer commute time more likely to make a trip chain with single linkages (p<0.0001).

  • The ratio of youth unemployment is very high compared to that of total unemployment in Korea. The youth unemployment is especially severe problem because of hindering the accumulation of human capital which is an economic growth driving factor, and switching the youth to economically inactive population rapidly. So Korea government has tried to perform various polices to solve the youth unemployment. In this paper, the states and the characteristics of the company oriented education program among the countermeasure of youth unemployment in Korea, including Job Experience Program of the Youth, Youth Job System, Youth Internship System and Contract Based Department Program are investigated. And the problems of the company oriented education program are analyzed and an improved education program(M-to-M Model) is proposed.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that affect the perceived awareness and the intention of continuous use by FinTech users and system characteristics. Data collection was carried out by targeting and surveying 600 people living in Gwangju, and office workers using smartphones. As a result, first, self-efficacy, innovation, and fitness for Fin-Tech services were found to influence the degree of perceptual awareness and intent to use of Fin-tech service users. Second, the system characteristics have a positive effect on perceived awareness and intention of using FinTech service. Third, the hypothesis about the dangers in the user attributes and system properties were dismissed. It seems that the priority concern was regarding the leakage of personal information and security as privacy and the increasing damage cases of financial fraud by electronic financial transactions spill. Therefore, in order to spread FinTech services, it would be effective if a Fin-Tech service strategy could eliminate inconveniences such as the risk of hindering convenience and intention to use by the marketing strategy established by the company.

  • In order to overcome the limitations of the previous study, this study reviews the concepts related to spirituality, spiritual wellbeing, workplace spirituality, spirituality and religion in detail. Furthermore, this study was to examine the effects of spiritual education. It is important to examine the effects of spiritual education on individual performance. To do this, proposed model in this study reflects individual, group, and organizational perspectives to reflect all dimensions of spirituality. The proposal model rooted in the theory of vocational personality types and work environments was analyzed empirically. We found that non-work commitment has a negative effect on perceived importance of spiritual education. On the other hand, the appropriateness of work and managers' concerns have a positive effect on the awareness of spiritual education. In addition, awareness of spiritual education has a positive influence on satisfaction of spiritual education. Finally, perceived importance of spiritual education has a positive effect on the satisfaction of spiritual education. Conclusions and implications are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the possibility of the healing function of art museums in modern times with the precedent studies and to explore the healing potential specifically. There have been studies on the various healing programs regarding patients with Alzheimer, learning disability, seniors, etc. The researcher approached this study in three aspects, art appreciation, space, communication as healing potential of art museums. These findings will be able to draw more social attention on art museums. Therefore, this study will provide a new perspective on the art museums to people concerned art museums. And it will make the professionals, working for company workers, students and other people suffering under the modern stress, recognize the art museums as a place to look inside in the professionals' own mind and to heal as well as a place for culture and sophistication. These findings will be able to draw more social attention on art museums.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between general characteristics, job stress and job satisfaction of 150 sonographer working in Busan and Ulsan area and to identify the predictors of job satisfaction. As a result, the higher the age, experienced job change, the more job satisfaction increased. The sub-factors of job stress and job satisfaction are significantly negative correlated with organizational system, lack of reward, occupational climate, job insecurity, insufficient job control, job demand. The most influential variables in job satisfaction were organizational system and lack of reward. Therefore in order to increase the job satisfaction of the sonographer, it is important to establish and institutional device related to effective organization, manpower management and compensation to reduce job stress.

  • With the development of the today's advanced industry civilization, We are always inhering a safety frigidity about disasters of various kinds when and where we may happen. The fires and disasters to be enlarged day by day are reported everyday through the mass communication. Therefore, a prevention countermeasure about the every kind fire and disaster is above all important along the social and the days requirement. As a kind of such countermeasure, this paper is proposed about automatic transmission system of disasters alarm by using wire and wireless communication network. The automatic transmission system prevents the unexpected fire or disaster from a sudden occurrence at the house, industrial field or at the place without the human. The proposed system has the characteristic of high precision and high response speed comparing with conventional system. Also, as the proposed system is small size and lightweight, the users have economic advantage and simply install the system.

Design of a New Applicator for High-Dose Rate Vaginal Brachytherapy (고선량율 질강 근접조사를 위한 새로운 적용구의 제작)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to develop a new vaginal applicator(Shin's Applicator) for 2-channel high-dose rate vaginal brachytherapy to evaluate uniformity of surface dose, and to present 3-dimensional dose distribution of the applicator. Methods: Shin's Applicator was inexpensively constructed using human soft tissue equivalent acrylic bar. We evaluated dose uniformity along the applicator surface using film densitometer and performed vaginal intracavitary brachytherapy after insertion of the applicator using HDR brachytherapy planning software and brachytherapy unit(Ralstron-20B). Results: Shin's Applicator allows improved dose distribution than the existing 1-channel cylinder and achieves diminished urinary bladder and rectal dose by 20%. Conclusions: From the above results, it can be concluded that Shin's Applicator may be an improved form of a vaginal applicator. Furthermore, it can be suggested that this applicator has an advantage, for it prevents vaginal stenosis after radiation therapy and can be used as a disposable vaginal dilator. Further follow up examination with radiological study may be helpful to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of this applicator.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate female students in Engineering college and suggest the improvement for the program of Career Development Center of female College Student. The survey was administered to 167 female college students to examine their preparation of employment. In the results, first, the level of career efficacy was average and interest in the majors was slightly lowe than average. In addition, the degree of desire to be employed in the field related to the major showed an average level. Second, they choose the practical ability as the most required and lack of. Third, satisfaction with the support of the University for career was low, but satisfaction with the interview preparation program was highest. Finally, this study proposed improvement of programs for Career Development Center of female College Student.

Analysis of Correlation between Dental Hygienist's Job Stress and Social Psychological Stress (일부 치과위생사의 직무스트레스 및 사회심리적 스트레스와의 관련성 연구 : 대구지역 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to grasp the relationship among general characteristic, work characteristic, job stress and social psychological stress by targeting dental hygienists in a certain area. By using self-administered questionnaire, it was possible to get following results from 219 people. The total score of job stress of dental hygienist was $47.41{\pm}7.46$. The people who are younger, take lower positions at their workplace and not married showed higher stress about physical environment, autonomous work and improper compensation. The people with lower income showed higher stress about autonomous work and the people with lower academic background showed higher stress about physical environment and autonomous work. The people who spend more time at their workplace showed higher stress about autonomous work and showed lower stress about relational conflict, organization system, improper compensation and work culture. The job stress about physical environment, job request, autonomous work, unstable work, improper compensation and workplace culture had a positive correlation with social psychological stress. It was found that unstable work, organization system, improper compensation and higher position gave effects to social psychological stress.
