This study investigated the effect of working stress and emotional labor on turnover intention of nail workers, and the survey tool was a questionnaire for 250 nail industry workers in Daejeon and Chungcheong. The SPSS 21.0 statistical program was used to analyze the collected data, and the research results showed that job stress and emotional labor of nail workers had a statistically significant correlation with turnover intention, indicating that there was a correlation between general job stress and emotional labor. Therefore, it is considered very important for research in this field to analyze the impact of job stress and emotional labor on turnover of nail industry workers and to provide basic data necessary for the development of this field, job satisfaction improvement, and work stress response. In order to establish the nail field as a part of the growing beauty industry, it is expected that there will be better research results if the turnover rate is reduced and compared and analyzed to improve job satisfaction through analysis of the causes of job stress and emotional labor of nail industry workers.

  • This study empirically analyzes the impact of role stress, user misconduct, and job satisfaction on turnover intention by categorizing turnover intention into workplace turnover intention and occupational turnover intention among academic librarians working at national, public, and private universities across South Korea. Data were collected through a survey conducted from September 13 to September 20, 2023, yielding 447 responses, which were subsequently analyzed using hierarchical regression analysis. The results revealed that role ambiguity and severe user misconduct (physical threats) positively influenced both workplace turnover intention and occupational turnover intention, while age negatively influenced both. The study found that librarians who experience unclear responsibilities and physical threats are more likely to have a strong intention to leave both their workplace and occupation. As differential factors, role overload and the location of the workplace in the metropolitan area were found to be significant. Role overload positively influenced only occupational turnover intention, while the metropolitan location negatively influenced only workplace turnover intention. These findings suggest that excessive workload increases doubt about the occupation itself, leading to consideration of occupational turnover and that librarians working outside the metropolitan area exhibit higher workplace turnover intention. Both intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction negatively influenced workplace and occupational turnover intention. These results indicate that differentiated strategies tailored to specific types of turnover intention are warranted to effectively manage turnover intention among academic librarians.

  • The purpose of the study was to examine health-related behaviors and nutrient intake in relation to job stress level of police officers. Total of 166 police officers working in Jeonbuk area participated in the study. The study was conducted from February to March, 2009. Subjects were given self-administered questionnaire on their general health status, dietary and health-related habits. Nutrient intake was assessed by semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire. Subjects were divided into four groups (very low, low, high, very high) by their job stress level scores. Main concerns of job stress were from 'job demand', 'organizational system' and 'lack of reward'. More than 95% of the subjects were confident of their health status. Health habits, such as drinking, smoking and exercising, were better than that of average Korean men. There were significant differences in dietary habits in relation to job stress level. Lower job stress group showed lower rate of skipping breakfast (p<0.01), more affordable meal time (p<0.05) and better snacking habits (p<0.001). Sweet food preference was higher in lower job stress group (p<0.05). The average calorie intake was $2063\pm532.7$ (88.5% of EER) and there was no significant difference in nutrient intake among job stress levels. However, mean intake of calcium and vitamin $B_2$ was less than 75% of %DRI in higher job stress group. Therefore, further support in nutritional counseling programs to improve dietary behaviors and health habits and to reduce job concerned stress of the police officers will be necessary.

Descriptive statics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and step wise multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 18.0 were used to analyze the data. According to the results, among the variables related to sleep quality, job stress showed a positive correlation, and job satisfaction showed a negative correlation. In addition, the factors such as job demands, occupational climate, job itself explained the quality of sleep at 24.5%. • This paper analyzed the effect of attribution of career success on the occupational adaptation of college graduates, with the Korean Education Employment Panel (KEEP) data. The analysis results are as follows: First, there was a significant difference in self-efficacy and occupational adaptation according to attribution. Workplace satisfaction was the highest when attributing of effort for career success, and effort attribution also was the most influential in job satisfaction and self-efficacy. On the other hand, workplace satisfaction, job satisfaction, and self-efficacy level were the lowest in fortune attribution, indicating that fortune attribution has a negative effect on the on the occupational adaptation. Second, as in the mediating effect of the relationship between attribution of career success and occupational adaptation by Sobel-test, it was found that there was a mediating effect of self-efficacy. The results of this study shows that the more new employees perceive their career success to depend on their own efforts, the more they believe they can successfully accomplish their duties, and can adapt with more effort and patience in the face of stress. These results imply that it is possible to increase occupational adaptation by providing intrinsic and extrinsic rewards for new employees to have an effort attribution to career success.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that could overcome the crisis and adversity of the nursing care provider through understanding the effect of job adaptation on the turnover intention of the nursing care provider and to contribute to the various problems of the nursing care provider in the long term. In order to confirm this as an empirical research task, risk factors and protection factors, general characteristics of the survey subjects, job adaptation and turnover intention were selected, and the risk factors and protective factors of caregivers' As a mediator. So Seoul. The results of the questionnaire survey were as follows: 291 caregivers in the elderly medical welfare facilities in Gyeonggi area. First, as the relationship between the risk factors and protective factors of occupational caregivers and occupational adaptation were more severe, the higher the maladjustment of the workplace culture, the more the job satisfaction and organizational commitment were adversely affected. The emotional support, The higher the information support, the more satisfied and satisfied the job. Second, the relationship between the risk factors of the caregiver and the protective factors and the turnover intention, the higher the conflict of caregivers, the more unstable the workplace, the more difficult it is to adapt to work culture, Respectively. Finally, as a result of verifying the mediating effect of occupational adaptation on the relationship between risk factors and protective factors and turnover intention of caregivers, job satisfaction, which is a sub-factor of job adaptation, It is shown that they play mediating roles only in the relationship between stress and turnover intention, and do not play a mediating role in the relationship between protective factor self - efficacy and social support and turnover intention. In other words, if caregivers feel satisfaction about their job, they can be less stressed on their jobs, improve their self-efficacy, and have a positive attitude toward social support. Also, it was found that the more the caregiver 's immersion into the organization, the less job stress and turnover intention decreased, but the self - efficacy and social support perception were not influenced. Based on this, the director of the facility should strive to stabilize the operation of the facility and provide high-quality services by seeking ways to improve conflict resolution and adaptation to the workplace culture so that nursing care workers can adapt to their work. And it is required to develop active management strategies and institutional support for improving job satisfaction and organizational commitment of caregivers.
