This study is a descriptive research study to confirm the degree and correlation of major satisfaction, self-esteem, and work values of nursing students, and was attempted to provide basic data for nursing students' nursing education. The subjects of this study were 224 nursing students from one university in the c region. Data analysis was analyzed using SPSS 22.0 program with frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test and ANOVA, and Pearson's Correlation Coefficients. As a result of this study, there was a statistically significant difference in major satisfaction at the time of major decision(F=4.127, P=.004), self-esteem at the motivation for admission(F=7.384, P<.001), and work value at the motivation for admission(F=5.023, P<.001) and the presence or absence of nurses in the family(F=3.501, P<.001). There was a significant correlation between major satisfaction, self-esteem, and work value of nursing college students. Through the results of this study, it is suggested that it is necessary to develop an education and training program that can improve the major satisfaction, self-esteem, and job value of nursing college students.

This study aimed to examine the effect of incivility experience, workplace friendship, job-esteem on nursing performance of hospital nurses. The participants were 135 university hospital nurses, and data collection was performed from December 14 to December 20, 2023. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. The main factors influencing the participants' nursing performance were job-esteem (β=.60, p<.001) and type of work shift(β=.19, p=.015). The overall explanatory power of the model was 52.7%. Therefore, as an alternative for improving nursing performance it is essential to enhance nurses' job-esteem, it is necessary for nursing managers and institutional level to work on the improve the nursing image and professional status.
The purpose of this study was to examine variables affecting the occupational aspiration of elementary school students and the relationship of the variables in a bid to acquire empirical information on influential factors for the development of children's occupational aspiration. Out of the personal characteristics of school children, academic achievement, self-esteem and parental educational level that respectively belonged to the cognitive, affective and environmental domains were selected as the variables that might affect occupational aspiration. And the relationship of the variables to the level of occupational aspiration was selected as a research question of the study. The findings of the study were as follows: in relation to the level of occupational aspiration by gender, the girls were ahead of the boys. There were no statistically significant gaps in that aspect according to grade. And, the academic achievement of the elementary school students had a positive correlation to the level of their occupational aspiration, and there was no statistically significant relationship between self-esteem and the level of occupational aspiration. When academic achievement and self-esteem were selected as predictors, the two variables made a 8.5% prediction of the occupational aspiration of the fourth graders, and made a 12.3% prediction of the occupational aspiration of the sixth graders. There were no statistically significant differences in the level of occupational aspiration according to parental educational level. The fourth and sixth graders were found to have an occupational aspiration in consideration of not only the characteristics of occupations but their own academic achievement, namely their abilities.

This study aimed to explore the effects of nurse's image, major satisfaction, and job esteem on the nursing professional values of nursing students. This study surveyed 164 third and fourth-year nursing students from two universities. The SPSS/23.0 program was used to analyze the data with descriptive statistics; an independent t-test, analysis of variance ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and mediating effect analysis were performed using Process Macro 4.0. The result showed positive correlations between nursing professionalism and nurse's image (r=.655, p<.001), satisfaction with major (r=.422, p<.001), and job esteem (r=.720, p<.001). Satisfaction in major and job esteem were found to mediate the relationship between the nurse's image and nursing professionalism. Based on the results of this study, to establish a proper sense of nursing professionalism among nursing students, it is necessary to enhance positive perceptions of nurses, improve satisfaction with the major, and increase job esteem. This can be achieved through curriculum development, improvements in hospital environments, activities aimed at changing perceptions of nurses, and ongoing reforms in relevant systems.

This study attempted to look into the effects of the job environment and job esteem on job satisfaction in the field of skin beauticians. To achieve this, a survey of their characteristics, job environment, job esteem and job satisfaction was carried out on 470 women in their 20s~50s working at skin care shops in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. First, it was found that the effects of the working environment on their vocational satisfaction, sense of belonging, level of contribution, wages and welfare, which are sub-factors of job satisfaction, are relatively high. This result shows that it is important to ensure proper resting facilities and resting areas. Second, it was shown that the higher the social evaluation, self-(implicit) assessment, future value, and self-fulfillment orientation, the higher the sub-factors of job satisfaction. This means that it is important to treat skin beauticians as professionals in order to improve their social recognition. The sub-factors of job environment-working conditions, organizational environment and job stability, and sub-factors of job environment-social evaluation, self(intrinsic) evaluation, future value and self-achievement orientation, had a major effect on the sub-factors of job satisfaction, respectively. Together with the general improvement in the sub-factors of job environment, the future value, as well as social evaluation, self(intrinsic) evaluation and self-achievement orientation, which together constituted the current value of job esteem, were the major factors affecting job satisfaction. Consequently, this study hopes to contribute to the development of the skin beauty industry by providing basic data on personnel management for skin care managers to improve skin beauticians' job satisfaction.

The purpose of this study was to compare the self-esteem and professionalism of dental hygiene students according to an educational system(three-year course and four-year course). The subjects in this study were 579 dental hygiene students in Chungcheong Province, on whom a survey was conducted. The findings of the study were as follows: The result on self-esteem and professionalism rate according to their satisfaction level towards the course shows that self-esteem of those who answered "satisfied" 3.02 in three-year-course, and 2.96 in four-year-course(p<.05), while professionalism rate of those who answered "satisfied" reach 2.97 in three-year-course and 2.93 in four-year-course(p<.05). As to self-esteem by motivation of choosing the department, the students who chose the department in hopes of being well paid had the best self-esteem both in the three-year-course colleges(3.18) and four-year-course universities(3.02). In terms of professionalism, those who chose the department in consideration three-year-course colleges, and the students who wanted to get a lifelong job(3.29) were most excellent in the four-year-course universities(p<.01).
This study is focused on the relation in the motive and the evaluation for the job in a special private security field. The supplement of the outstanding human resources is one of most important matter to improve the private security industry. For it the applicant's motive and evaluation of whose quality should be screened to recruit proper and oustanding human resources into the industry. For the study the follow elements would be considered. First, What is the real motive to apply the job and how prospect on the job the applicant will be taken. Second, what is different point of view to the job between male and female. Third, what relationship is in achieving the job performance between the temporary motive and the planed motive. Forth, what effects are on the job satisfaction and the planed motive for the job. With the above elements the survey was taken based on each sex for the study and the results are out as below. a) Male is in higher than female in taking with unplaned job motive and for job satisfaction is much higher in 1-20 age range. b) In general, the expectation on the job is much higher than the current job status, the male are in the expextation on the job and the female are in the the current job status. c) The job satisfaction is on positive effect to the planed taken job but the unplaned taken job is on negative. From the Research the most concerning element on the recruiting new employee is applicant's positive attitude on the job he/she will be taken.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to establish a structural equation model on social roles and health for married working mothers. to determine the effects of social roles on Korean women's health and to explore the mediating role of self-esteem in the relationship between social roles qualities and health. Method Data were collected from 323 employed women with partner and children. lived in Seoul and near Seoul. Response rate was 62.3%. The instruments for measurements were Role Quality Scale developed by Park et al. (1999). Rosenberg's Self-Esteem Scale. and 31 items from SF-36 developed by Ware & Sherboune(l992). Results: The effect of marital role quality on self-esteem and the effect of parental role quality on health were not significant. Modification model fitted with the collected data very well. as evidenced by the small chi-square(0.58), the very high goodness-of-fit(GFI = 1.00), and adjusted goodness-of-fit (AGFI = 0.99), and very small root mean square residual(RMSR=0.0072), and the slope of Q-plot is over 1. 41% of the variance in self-esteem and 21% of the variance in health were accounted for by these variables. Conclusion: Further research concerned with the mediating effects of self-esteem in the role and health relationship should be covered the issue of various role combinations. And it is necessary to examine the influence of subfactor of quality of social roles on health.
In order to verify the effect of job-esteem attitude on the empowerment of social service workers on service orientation, this study conducted a questionnaire survey on manpower providing local autonomous social service investment projects in Chungcheongbuk-do through analyzing 329 copies of data. The main research results show that, work performance relationship and personal work orientation have a significant effect on job esteem among the sub-factors of empowerment, it was found that the work environment control had a significant effect on all of the service-oriented sub-factors (trust-oriented, sincerity-oriented, and type-oriented). In addition, personal work-oriented empowerment was found to have a significant effect on sincerity-oriented and type-oriented among the service-oriented sub-factors, and it was confirmed that the empowerment of social service workers had a positive effect on service orientation through employee appreciation as a medium. It was confirmed that job-esteem, which is a mediator, affects sincerity and type orientation, which are sub-variables of service orientation. In order to improve the service orientation of social service workers, it is necessary to develop a manual for a clear understanding of their work and to provide continuous and practical maintenance education so workers can develop their own abilities.
This study was undertaken to better understand the professional recognition of the food service industry of college students in food service realted majors based on characteristics of the respondents In order to achieve the purpose of the study, 211 questionnaire surveys were colelcted in the period from May 19 to May 30, 2014. The study conducted regression analysis by using SPSS Win18.0 package, for frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, analysis of reliability, correlation analysis tests, t-test, andone way ANOVA.
