Structural Relationship Analysis between Emotional labor, Job stress, Perceived organizational support and Job satisfaction for the Health Promotion Program Personnel (통합건강증진사업 전문인력의 감정노동, 직무스트레스, 조직지원인식과 직무만족도의 구조적 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationship between emotional labor, job stress, perceived organizational support and job satisfaction for the health promotion program personnel. The subjects were 126 in charge of the health promotion program. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 23.0 for the independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and structural equation modeling. There were significant differences in emotional labor by age and marital status (p<.05), job stress by religion (p<.01) and job satisfaction by career, religion and marital status (p<.01). The indirect effect of emotional labor on job satisfaction was -0.315, and no direct effect was found. The indirect effect of job stress on job satisfaction was -0.288, and the direct effect was -0.228. The direct effect of perceived organizational support on job satisfaction was -0.507. These results can be used as baseline data to develop alternatives and intervention programs to enhance job satisfaction.

Community Child Care Center Workers' Perceptions of Professionalism and Their Job Satisfaction (지역아동센터 종사자의 전문성 인식과 직무만족)

  • This study examines the effects of community child care center workers' perception of professionalism on their job satisfaction. This study conducts a survey of 221 community child care workers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon provinces in Korea. Results show that the level of perception of professionalism and job satisfaction are over intermediate. The perception on professional values and ethics are slightly higher than the perception on professional knowledge and skills. The workers are more satisfied with intrinsic job factors such as achievement and responsibility than extrinsic job factors such as compensation and working conditions. Regression analysis reveals that the workers' perception of professionalism is positively associated with both intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction. Based on the findings, this study provides suggestions to enhance the workers' professionalism and job satisfaction, which will contribute the quality of services in community child care centers.

The Effect of K-university Professors' Perception of University on Job Satisfaction (K대학 교수들의 대학에 대한 인식이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of K-university professors' perception of the university on job satisfaction. To do this, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were applied on job satisfaction and university perception (curriculum, lecture, research support, research system, undergraduate(major), organizational communication, personnel system, welfare system) data of 81 professors at K-University. As results, each factor showed a statistically significant correlation, and it was found that the perception of lectures, the perception of research support, the recognition of the research system, and the perception of personnel system had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Based on the results of this study, policy measures to help increase job satisfaction were suggested.

The Effect of Safety Awareness Perceived by Construction Workers on Unsafe Act: Mediation Effect of Job Satisfaction and the Adjustment Effect of Perceived Organizational Support (건설근로자가 인식하는 안전의식이 불안전한 행동에 미치는 영향: 직무만족의 매개효과와 조절후원인식의 조절효과)

  • This study examined the mediated effects of job satisfaction and the control effects of the perceived organizational support awareness on the effects of safety awareness recognized by construction workers on unsafe acts as a way to reduce unsafe acts. To this end, 439 workers at 23 construction sites across the country received a questionnaire from July 1 to July 20, 2019 and the data were analyzed, which resulted in the following conclusions. First, the sense of safety in which construction workers are late has a direct influence on job satisfaction. Second, job satisfaction recognized by construction workers has been shown to have a direct negative effect on the anxiety act. Third, job satisfaction was influenced by the medium in relation to safety awareness and anxiety transfer act recognized by construction workers. Fourth, the adjustment effect of the perceived organizational support awareness in the relationship between safety awareness and task satisfaction was shown to be significant. This study suggests that to prevent unsafe acts at construction sites, increased safe acts reduce the level of anxiety transfer due to a high sense of safety and job satisfaction by workers.

  • The purpose of this research is to identify the relationship between EVLN and job insecurity of workers and to establish the mediating effect of perceived organizational obstruction in the relationship with job insecurity and EVLN. For the proof analysis of this research, a survey was done on 350 people on/off line. Summary of the result of the research is as follows. Perceived organizational obstruction has mediating effects in the relationship with job insecurity, exit, voice and neglect. This study contributes to the understanding of perceived organizational obstruction by developing an theoretical model, incorporating the role of job insecurity and EVLN. In conclusion, this study suggests that in the organization developing EVLN, job insecurity and improving workplace spirituality of employees needs to be considered for adaptation.

The Effects of Ego-resilience and Professionalism Awareness on Occupational Stress in Early Childhood Teachers (유아교사의 자아탄력성과 전문성인식이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of ego-resilience and professionalism awareness on occupational stress of early childhood teachers. The subjects of this study were 154 early childhood teachers working at day care centers and kindergartens. The data and information were collected through questionnaires. Correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed on the collected data with the SPSSWin 18.0 statistics program. The following results were shown: First, in regards to the relationship between ego-resilience, professionalism awareness and occupational stress, there were high correlations among them. Second, ego-resilience of early childhood teachers had a greater influence on occupational stress. Third, professionalism awareness of early childhood teachers had an influence on occupational stress. Forth, ego-resilience and professionalism awareness of early childhood teachers had influences on occupational stress, and their explained variance was 28%. These results imply that the support systems shoud be prepared to improve positive thoughts and attitudes of early childhood teachers.

  • This research is to empirically analyze the effects of leadership styles on job satisfaction and job performance and to provide some basic for organizational and personnel management in dental hospitals. The test results of this study are as follows for each hypothesis: 1. The recognition of leadership styles has nothing to do with sex, educational background, post, job type, and career, but job satisfaction has something to do with age. 2. Job satisfaction has nothing to do with sex, educational background, and job type, but job satisfaction has something to do with age, post, career. Job performance has nothing to do with sex, age, educational background, post, job type, but job performance has something to do with career. 3. The recognition of leadership styles has something to do with the recognition of situations. 4. Job satisfaction and job performance has something to do with leadership styles. In consequence, while the most effective style is one of a patriarchal warmhearted type, most hospital managers show either democratic or dictatorial one, is an evident example. Therefore, the hospital managers are required to adopt a leadership style which is like an affectionate patriarch.

Relevance of role perceptions and job satisfaction of Hospital workers (병원근로자들의 역할인식과 직무만족과의 관련성)

  • This study was to identify the influence of job satisfaction on the role clarity perception of the personnels except medical staffs of hospitals. The study subjects of this study were 486 personnels employed in the supporting departments of hospital. As the result of multiple regression analysis, policy decision showed the highest explanatory power on job satisfaction, We would conclude that in order to improve the performance level of hospital by increasing the job satisfaction of their non-medical personnels, the hospital managers should make efforts to raise the role clarity of them. Our study had some limitations. Especially, because measurement scale on job satisfaction used in our study didn't consist of subdivision, our findings would not show which area was more important in improving job satisfaction.

A study on Job Recognition of Small Libraries' Administrators (작은도서관 운영자의 직무인식에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 작은도서관 운영자의 직무 현황을 파악하고 IPA 기법을 바탕으로 직무 인식도를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 선행연구와 관련 문헌을 종합, 분석하여 작은도서관의 직무를 '계획 및 행정', '회계', '전산 관리', '자료 조직 및 자료 관리', '이용자 서비스', '이용자 프로그램'으로 구분하고 36개의 직무요소로 세분화하였다. 이들 직무요소의 IPA 결과, '계획 및 행정', '이용자 서비스', '이용자 프로그램'에 해당하는 직무요소의 중요도-수행도가 가장 높으며 '회계'와 '전산 관리'에 해당하는 직무요소의 중요도-수행도가 가장 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 분석한 작은도서관 운영자의 직무인식도는 작은도서관 운영 개선을 위한 논의의 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다.

A Study on the Task Analysis of Public Libraries in Korea (공공도서관의 직무 분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the core tasks, degree of professionalism on tasks, and job importance recognized by the library staff through job analysis. The results of this study will be able to take advantage of political materials about the staffing and organizational structure of public libraries in South Korea. Survey to target 49 librarians of public libraries in Gyeonggi Province was performed to job analysis. The 21.1% of library tasks was confirmed to be a high job importance, and the 69.6% of entire tasks had the high professionalism. And library staff members recognized that 73.1% of library tasks should be performed by librarians.
