국내 조선소에서 해양플랜트공사 수주가 증가함에도 불구하고 관련 직무종사자들은 전문영어교육을 받지 못하여 직무 진행에 있어서 발주자들과 다양한 분쟁이 발생하고 있다. 따라서 해양플랜트 전문인력 양성 및 직무능력강화를 DACUM(Developing A Curriculum) 직무분석기법을 이용하여 표준해양플랜트 영어교육과정 모델을 개발하여 산업현자에 적합한 교육과정을 제시하고자 한다.

이 연구는 우리나라 해기사의 선상 의사소통 능력을 제고하기 위한 방안과 정책을 제안함으로서 국내 해기인력의 일자리 창출 및 해양사고 예방에 기여하는 것이 목적이며, 선상 의사소통 능력의 제고를 위하여 해사 직무영어 교육용 교재의 개발 계획, 온 오프라인용 컨텐츠 개발 보급 계획, 해사 영어능력의 다면 평가 및 인증을 위한 해사영어 구술시험 개발 및 시행 계획 및 해기사 면허시험의 영어구술평가의 도입 방안 등의 기본계획과 그 표본을 개발하고자 하는 것이다. 이와 같은 연구의 필요성을 식별하기 위하여 해기사 양성교육기관의 재학생과 교원, 승선 중인 해기사와 육상 근무 중인 해기사 등을 대상으로 선내의사소통 현황, 해사영어교육에 대한 현황과 개선 방향, 해사영어 교육과 평가방안 등에 관한 설문조사를 실시하여 분석한 결과의 요약이다.

Soo-Yeoun Kim & Ji-Eun Kim 2016. A Study on ESP Skating English Education Based on Job Analysis. This study aims to provide skating ESP(English for Specific Purposes) education model for skating instructors in Korea. For this purpose, a total of twenty-seven professional skating instructors were surveyed according to a questionnaire, which asked about their English skills and perspective of the importance of English study and English skating class. The main results are as follows: most skating instructors' confidence in their English is low; majority of them answered that English study is needed for skating instructors; a majority of them want English teaching that focused on speaking and teaching activities. After that, skating instructors' jobs were analyzed using the DACUM(Developing A Curriculum Method). A DACUM committee extracted the duties and tasks which require English education and conducted a survey that targeted skating instructors. When interpreting the study on ESP Skating English Education based on job analysis, it was evident that the English language would be essential for enabling effective communication with judges during national sports competitions, information exchange with foreign skaters, and for technical skating instructions. 국제민간항공기구는 항공안전을 도모하는 차원에서 ICAO 항공영어제도(ICAO LPRs)의 국제 표준을 제정하였다. 이에 따라 우리나라는 2005년 11월 8일 항공법을 개정하여 항공영어능력증명시험(EPTA)을 만들었다. 본 연구는 항공영어제도의 문제점을 분석하고 개선하는데 목적이 있다. 조사는 우리 항공영어제도와 해외사례를 비교하고 문제점을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 우리 항공영어제도와 ICAO 항공영어제도, 다른 나라 항공영어제도 사이에 차이점들이 나타나고 개선이 필요한 것으로 조사되었다. 개선은 직무연관성을 보강하는 방향으로 문항개선과 등급제도 개선 방안 등을 제시하였다.

본 발표는 대한민국 선원의 의사소통 역량 및 글로벌 역량 강화를 위해 해수부에서 실시한 "선상 의사소통능력 강화방안" 사업을 통해 개발된 한국형 해사영어 커리큘럼의 수립 과정과 그에 따른 컨텐츠 제작 과정을 공유하고, 향후 개발 방향을 모색하기 위함이다. 따라서 본 발표를 통해 커리큘럼을 수립을 위한 선행 연구 과정(국제해사기구, 국제민간항공기구 및 국제항로표지협회 등의 국제 가이드라인 검토 및 분석, 특수목적영어 교육훈련기법 외), 교육 커리큘럼 수립(IMO 해사영어모델코스 및 표준해사통신용어 분석 및 재편성), 교육 컨텐츠 구성(실제 선사 유관 자료의 수집 및 데이터베이스 구축), 교육 훈련 교재 개발(교재, 학생용 워크북, 교사용 워크북, 음원) 등의 과정을 순차적으로 소개하고, 이에 대한 결과물을 공유하며, 향후 발전 방향을 제안하고자 한다.

In the era of globalization, small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) are striving to attain competitive advantage in the rapidly changing and diversified markets. It is necessary for SMBs to enhance their global compentency in order to successfully enter overseas markets. In an attempt to shed light on how closely an SMB's global competency is related to how efficiently their employees can perform their tasks in the overseas market, this study examined the nature of English use in oral communication by twelve Korean men working in Dubai. Questionnaires and recordings were used to collect the data. The results show that English competency plays a crucial role in work efficiency in the overseas business context. Also, superior oral skills are considered the most important in doing business as it is the most frequently required form of communication. Participants of the study showed a tendency to make up for their lack of communicative competency by using various strategies. They tried to avoid communication breakdown by all means in order to get the task done.

This study aimed for testing the effects of the empowerment in the circumstances of remote management that managers and employees were in separate countries. For this purpose, researchers collected survey data from 79 local teachers in multinational enterprises on English education and performed Structural Equation Modeling. The hypotheses below are revealed as significant. Firstly, empowerment had a positive effect on job satisfaction, but had a negative effect on job stress. Secondly, empowerment had a positive effect on organizational commitment. Thirdly, job satisfaction had a positive effect on organizational commitment. Fourthly, job stress had a negative effect on organizational commitment and job satisfaction mediated the relationship between empowerment and organizational commitment. Finally, job stress mediated the relationship between empowerment and organizational commitment. And the results of this study suggest that the employees' job satisfaction and organizational commitment can be enhanced using empowerment in the remote management system.

The present study aims to investigate perceptions of university students who are majoring in sports related fields about the introduction of Sports English education. For this purpose, a total of 133 students were surveyed according to a questionnaire asking about their English skills, opinions and attitudes with regard to English study and Sports English class. The main results obtained from this study are as follows: most students' interest in English is relatively low. Hence, students need to be encouraged to have an interest in English taught with special teaching methods; most students do not have confidence in their English; majority of students answered that English study is needed for students of sports. The biggest motivation for the sport students to learn English was 'better communication skills', followed by 'sports exchange opportunities', 'sports diplomacy and international sports events'; majority of students answered that Sports English class which focuses on sports is necessary in terms of their career after graduation. The finding from this study serves as a foundation in developing an ESP program for sports majors.

본 연구에서는 환대산업 종사원들의 직무 스트레스가 조직시민행동에는 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 또한 직무스트레스와 조직시민행동사이에서 가족기능이 매개역할을 하는지를 알아보고자 한다. 환대산업 종사원들의 직무 및 역할과 조직시민행동에 관련한 연구들을 살펴보면 환대산업 종사원들은 보다 나은 업무결과를 위하여, 업무 스트레스를 경험하게 되고 이 업무 스트레스는 조식시민행동을 낮게하는 변수로 작용하게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 호텔기업 종사원들의 직무스트레스가 조직시민행동에 어떤 영향관계에 있는지를 실증적으로 분석해보고 그 영향관계에서 가족기능은 어떤 매개역할을 하는지를 알아보고자 한다.

본 발표는 대한민국 해기사 커뮤니케이션 역량 강화를 위해, 해사 영어 구술시험 개발의 필요성을 타국의 사례 등을 통해 제안하고, 이를 위해 시범 개발 중인 "한국형 해사 영어 구술시험"의 개발 제작 과정과 현재 개발 진행 사항을 공유하고, 향후 추진 방향을 모색하기 위함이다. 따라서 본 발표에서는, 구술시험 평가 수립을 위한 유관 산업 문헌 조사(국제 교통 관련 산업 의사소통 지침, 평가 척도), 해기사 직무에 따른 영어 구술시험 문제 개발 계획 수립 및 시험 설계 시 검토 사항, 모의 구술시험 설계 및 시행, 모의시험 효과 측정, 측정 결과에 따른 향후 평가 척도 개발 시 고려 사항, 구술 평가를 인공지능 평가 방법 도입 방안 모색 등의 과정을 순차적으로 소개하고, 이에 대한 결과물을 공유하며, 향후 발전 방향을 제안하고자 한다.
