  • Digital Evidence Data in cyberspace is easy to modify or delete, and changes are reflected in real time, so it is necessary to acquire evidence data quickly. Collecting evidence on the client side is advantageous in that data can be acquired without time delay due to additional administrative procedures, but collection of large data is likewise vulnerable to collection time delay problem. Therefore, this paper proposes an automated evidence collection method on the client side, focusing on the major web-based services in cyberspace, and enables efficient evidence collection for large volumes of data. Furthermore, we propose a digital evidence collection system in cyberspace that guarantees the integrity of the collected digital evidence until the court submission.

  • Unlike general maps, the underground geospatial Information is a system made to view underground information in a 3D shape. This system is managed by a tile maps to lighten the data. But there are various underground structures in the basement, and the structures are made of 3D data, so the data size is large. Therefore, when a client mobile program requests a tile map, the service server fetches the requested tile map from the DB server and transmits ti to the client, but there is a transmission delay time problem. In this paper, we design the tile cache method to improve the request response speed for the tile map data provided to the client in the mobile underground geospatial information system. We propose a method in which a service server predicts and prefetchs the next tile map while the client is viewing tile map, and stores the prefetching data in the memory of client mobile terminal. Then, the transmission delay time problem can be solved.

  • Dynamic free-space optical interconnection system is experimented by a holographic crossbar with single-state switching architecture. For dynamic operation, electrically addressed liquid-crystal spatial light modulator and diffraction gratings are used in place of passive holograms of matrix-matrix crossbar. Diffraction gratings are consisted of regular cells which have different phase delays. This pixelated phase grating array displayed on SLM(Spatial Light modulator) deflects an input beam toward a wanted direction or splits an input beam into many beams and then steers them to desired positions. Through the experimental results, free-space optical interconnection is dynamically perfomed using a computer, SLM and phase diffraction gratings.

  • This paper presents a data prediction method and its application to haptic-based teleoperation systems. In general, time delays inevitably occur during data transmission in a network environment, which degrades the overall performance of haptic-based teleoperation systems. To address this situation, this paper proposes an autoregressive moving average (ARMA) model-based data prediction algorithm for estimating model parameters and predicting future data recursively in real time. The proposed method was applied to haptic data captured every 5 ms while bilateral haptic interaction was carried out by two users with an object in a virtual space. The results showed that the prediction performance of the proposed method had an error of less than 1 ms when predicting position-level data 100 ms ahead.

  • Recently, UWAC(: UnderWater Acoustic Communication) has been studied by many scholars and researchers. There are several method to estimate the time-difference between the two signals such estimating as the arrival time of the first non-background segment in both signals and calculate the temporal difference, calculating the cross-correlation between the two signal to infer the time-lagged, and estimating the phase delay to infer the time difference. In this paper, we present estimating method by the phase delay to infer the time difference in two signals.

  • It is important interest for us to solve skew problem in intermedia synchronization and to solve jitter problem in intramedia synchronization. It propose multimedia synchronization model to represent mixed media which contain temporal media and spatial media, and that helps us to develop multimedia application software efficiently. The proposed paper use four parameters to deal with QoS of intermedia synchronization and relative duration time algorithm and jitter-compensatory time algorithm are presented. When key medium is destroyed we make a delay as much as maximum delay jitter of the key medium in order to playout the other medium as much as that. The result is that the application of maximum delay jitter improves the service quality.

  • Research on media access control (MAC) scheme for Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has been mainly focused on energy efficiency improvement, while interest on latency is relatively weak. However, end-to-end latency could be a critical limitation specifically in the multi-hop network such as wireless multimedia sensor networks. In this paper we propose a media access control scheme with distributed transmission power control to Improve end-to-end transmission latency as well as reduce power consumption in multi-hop wireless sensor networks. According to the simulation results, the proposed scheme is turned out to be an energy efficient scheme with improved end-to-end transmission latency.

  • Using the self duality of an optimal normal basis(ONB) of type II, we present a bit parallel and bit serial systolic arrays over GF($2^m$) which has a low hardware complexity and a low latency. We show that our multiplier has a latency m+1 and the basic cell of our circuit design needs 5 latches(flip-flops). Comparing with other arrays of the same kinds, we find that our array has significantly reduced latency and hardware complexity.

  • In this paper we present an indoor propagation model for indoor wireless LAN service in the ISM band. We primarily use a 3D ray tracing as well as a patch scattering model in order to take into account the indoor fixtures. Therefore input parameters such as indoor environment parameters and antenna's types, polarizations are considered. As the results, we present fading characteristics and rms delay spread from time delay spread. In order to investigate the accuracy of the presented model, comparisons of predictions with measurement and simulations are performed in indoor wireless LAN service environments. The results show that measurements and simulations are very similar. Therefore in this paper, the effect of presented indoor propagation model is confirmed.
