The purpose of this study is to investigate the status of specialized services, user experience, and the overall satisfaction for the specialized library users, and based on the ISA method, compare the specialized theme data, specialized service place, specialized program, specialized theme area facilities and environment, and derive issues of the specialized library operation and improvement measures. Consequently, first, when selecting the theme of the specialized library, the theme ought to be selected to reflect the regional characteristics, history and demographics of the library, and the demand survey of the local residents and library users would need to be considered. Second, when planning the specialized program, the specialized library ought to consider operating differentiated programs based on the program operator who has the expertise to improve the quality of the program. Furthermore, sufficient theme related books and space must be secured, and moreover, the program must be planned in connection with the book collection. Third, the specialized library should be so structured as to ensure that the space may serve specialized themes provided by the library in order to provide specialized collections, services, and information services for the users. In addition, reflecting the needs of the users in designing the space must be considered.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the industrial structural changes and types of specialized in the shipbuilding cities, which are representative sectors of industrial city decline, and explore regional responses. Most cities designated as special areas for industrial crisis response in 2018 are specialized in shipbuilding. While the shift from prosperity to recession since the 2010s is the main factor, each city has responded differently to the industrial crisis. The analysis, targeting seven shipbuilding cities, shows that regions where large shipyards of major corporations with high industrial competitiveness are located have relatively less decline during business fluctuations, and there is a tendency for a decrease in industrial structural diversity during prosperous periods and an increase during recessionary periods. Based on the resistance and recoverability to industrial crises, the industrial paths of shipbuilding cities are classified into four types. Considering regional industrial structure and competitiveness, it is necessary to develop customized support strategies such as maintaining and declining shipbuilding industries and fostering new alternative industries.

As one of the challenges providing sufficient Social Overhead Capital (SOC), such as cultural and sports facilities, installing small libraries and remodeling old public libraries are crucial to provide local community a public space and specialized services. In order to achieve such objectives, those libraries need to designate special themes while operating and providing services. In this study, we sought to find the relationship between the specialized themes and the spatial composition of the library. For this purpose, we investigated the specialized themes, spaces, services, spatial composition of program, and external environment. Analysis results showed that those libraries need to coordinate various areas according to the respective themes as well as categorization for its specialization subjects in order to stimulate activities of the libraries and to increase the usage rates. In addition, we have identified that a variety of spaces, such as thematic experience zones, are needed to improve the libraries' performance.

In order to solve the problem of how to estimate the residential segregation, the Spatial Concentration Index(SCI) and Location quotient(LQ) are able to be one of alternative methods, and a comprehensive analysis of the residential segregation phenomenon in the seoul metropolitan area is the aim of the study. The results of SCI show that residential concentration areas in low-rent are some Gyeonggi-do's downtown(Bucheon-si, Suwon-si) as well as rural and urban-rural complex outskirts of the metropolitan area. The results of changing of SCI from 2011 to 2014, downward changes appeared thirteen districts and upward changes appeared fourteen districts. Especially downward change district was Sosa-gu, Bucheon-si and upward change district was Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si. In conclusion, that high rent level groups are more concentration on specific area than low rent level groups. By decreasing residential concentration districts in low-rent level group, 'diversity' districts have been increasing in seoul metropolitan but the phenomenon of residential concentration in high and low level group have been being intensified. These results could be confirmed by quantitative through LQ. Methodologically LQ would strengthen the explanatory power of SCI, and ongoing research of SCI in conjunction with other quantitative methods will need.

China's advertising industry has rapidly increased owing to economic growth and big market size. This paper covers the localization and relative efficiency in the Chinese advertising industry. To analyze localization level and efficiency of advertising industry, this paper uses Location Quotient(LQ) and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) respectively. According to the results, the first finding shows that the higher regional development level have the relative efficiencies, the higher regional development level also have regional specialization degree. The second finding indicates that Chinese advertising industries are multipolalized region by region. The last finding reveals that advertising industry of middle and west regions has long term development potentiality owing to high specialization degree with low relative efficiencies.

Development of policy incentives and policy direction in the innovation economy is always important. Innovations policy have characterized industrial dynamics, leading to a transformation of the market structure of the specific industry. The paper explores the development of industry convergence for understanding the change of the wireless industry in Daejeon. Although its initial focus is R&D center, The business model has become the research and development of external demand than its own product research and development. For regional innovation, the wireless industry policy should be provided with their own product development pattern.

In this study, we propose the establishment of a specialized comic and webtoon library within the newly constructed library in Cheongju City. The aim is to create the library as the ultimate multi-cultural space, contributing to the enhancement of local residents' information utilization skills and future competencies. To achieve this, we conducted a foundational survey and current status analysis of a comic and webtoon specialized library, based on which we put forward a plan for its development. The research results yield the following outcomes: First, we provide concrete justifications and feasibility for the establishment of a comic and webtoon specialized library in Cheongju City. Second, we offer specific proposals for the vision, mission, roles, and functions of the comic and webtoon specialized library. Based on these research findings, if a comic and webtoon specialized library is constructed in Cheongju City, it has the potential to become a local landmark and serve as a unique cultural and tourist resource. Furthermore, by providing facilities and resources for various information services related to comic and webtoon creation and experiences, it can contribute to nurturing talents that lead the way in future industries.

서울특별시인쇄정보산업협동조합(이사장 조정석)은 지난 1월 26일 서울인쇄센터 앞에서 인쇄마을 조성을 위한 서명운동을 전개했다. 조정석 이사장과 김정전 인쇄마을 지정 비상대책 위원회 위원장, 조합 임직원들은 이날 중구 쌍림동부터 인쇄사가 밀집해 있는 방산시장을 비롯하여 필동, 을지로, 충무로 등 전 지역을 두루 다니며 서명운동을 펼쳤다. 서울시가 중구 지역의 재개발을 추진하면서 특화산업으로 지정되어 있는 인쇄산업겁에 대한 대책을 전혀 세우지 않고 있기 때문이다. 특화산업인 인쇄가 발전하기 위해서는 지속적이고 장기적인 안목에서의 지원이 이루어져야 하는데도 서울시는 뉴타운재개발사업에서 인쇄산업을 아예 제외하고 금융산업을 지정한 것은 인쇄인들의 분노를 사기에 충분하다. 이에 인쇄인들은 인쇄업의 미래를 위해 서명운동을 적극 벌이고 있는 것이다.
