This study was focused on social stigma in utilizing community child centers which are selective child welfare institutions. The study model derived from the stress process model. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of stigma on happiness among children in community child centers and mediating effects of empowerment and community social capital as coping resources. The data were collected from 5, 6th grade students who are attending community child centers located in Daegu and Gyeongsan city. Data of 175 were analyzed and SPSS Process Macro and bootstrapping method were used. The results of the study were follows. First, stigma among children in community child centers showed significant direct effects on happiness. Second, empowerment and community social capital had significant mediating effects on the relationship between stigma and happiness. Based on the results, the policy and practice implications to improve happiness of children in community child centers were suggested.

Objectives: This study was performed to evaluate the effect of navigator education program for cancer screening, which is designed for improvement in knowledge of cancer, perceived self efficacy and communication skill of the breast and cervical cancer screening for middle-aged and aged women in urban areas. Cancer screening navigator is lay health advisor who are educated for providing information, emotional support about cancer screening at the community. Methods: The subjects were 33 women at the age of 40-69 and educated for 12 hours through the education program. The control group subjects were 30 women. For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics and paired t-test were used with SPSS WIN 14.0. Results: Contents of education program were case of cancer early detection, benefit of breast cancer screening, benefit of cervical cancer screening, health care system for cancer screening, role of cancer screening navigator, communication skill, transtheoretical model and role play. Knowledge of cancer(t=4.267, p=0.000) and communication skill(t=4.947, p=0.000) of the women increased significantly after implementing the 12 hours education program. Conclusion: The results suggest that navigator education for cancer screening has an effect in increasing knowledge of cancer, and communication skill scores.

천연물 산업은 과학적 기술력이 요구되는 고부가가치 산업으로 건강기능식품 등의 원료 산업으로 각광받고 있다. 최근 친환경, 지속가능성에 대한 관심 증가로 천연물 제품에 대한 수요가 증가되고 있으며 고령화 사회 진입과 건강에 대한 의식 수준 상승으로 전세계 건강기능 식품 시장 확대 추세에 있다. 생물자원의 70%이상을 수입에 의존하고 있는 우리나라는 천연물 산업의 경쟁력 확보와 고부가가치화 실현을 위해 천연물 산업 육성 촉진이 필요하다. 또한 지역 균형발전 측면에서 신성장동력 마련 및 국가 차원의 형평성을 고려한 전략적 투자가 필요한 시점에서 천연물 관련 산업의 신성장동력화를 통해 지역의 한계점 등을 개선하고, 새로운 먹거리 발굴과 함께 지역 전략산업으로 육성이 필요하다. 제천의 특화산업업인 한방천연물산업의 고도화와 활성화를 위해 영세한 스타트업 및 중소기업의 연구 및 제품개발을 지원하기 위한 인프라와 산업 클러스터 조성이 요구되고 있다. 제천은 풍부한 한약재 생산지를 보유하고 있어 전체 면적의 50% 이상이 석회암 지대로 알칼리성 토양이 넓게 분포되어 있고, 토양의 양분이 풍부하며 해발고도 250m 이상의 준산간 지역에서 주로 재배가 이루어지고 있어, 배수가 양호하고 병충해가 적어 한약재의 친환경 재배 및 다년생 한약재 재배가 가능한 지역이다. 이러한 천연물 산업을 육성하기 위하여 산업통상자원부, 충청북도, 제천시, (재)충북테크노파크는 180억원의 사업비로 '글로벌 천연물 원료제조거점시설'을 구축하여 규격화된 천연물 원료공급 시스템을 갖추었으며 150억원을 투자하여 '천연물 조직배양 상용화 시설'을 건립 중에 있다. 또한 향후에는 천연물 클러스터 가치 사슬의 완성형으로 160억 상당의 '천연물 제제개발 생산시설' 사업을 기획하고 있어 장차 대한민국의 천연물 산업을 앞장서 견인할 것으로 예상 된다.

With the fast development of modern society, the interests concerned about the significance of nature and environment become major issue nowadays. Especially, threats for our health due to severe environmental pollution and fine dusts become serious problem with the fast industrialization of our society, and extra attention is focused on interests about conservation of nature and management of forest resources. Precious forest resources, however, are not properly managed and destroyed vainly due to frequent fire, damage by storms and floods, and unplanned land development. So systematic and scientific construction and management of forest resources are required in order to solve these problems efficiently. Furthermore, implementation of the forest resource information database that contains information of trees, Topography, ecosystem of the forest is urgently needed. In this paper, we design and implement the forest resource information database based on the information of location based forest resources and Topography using forest images taken by a drone, that enables us to manage forest resources efficiently, make decision for logging, and construct a future tree-planting project easily.

최근 USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) 기반 기술과 사회 전반에 걸친 USN 응용 기술의 발전이 가속화되고 있다. 이러한 USN 응용은 USN 자원에 대한 정보를 필요로 하며, USN 미들웨어는 USN 응용의 용이한 개발을 위해 USN 자원 정보를 제공하는 디렉토리 서비스를 핵심 요소에 포함하고 있다. USN 응용 지원을 위한 디렉토리 서비스는 광역적으로 분산된 컴퓨팅 환경에서 원하는 USN 자원 정보 즉 메타데이타를 효율적으로 관리하고 검색할 수 있는 기능이 요구 된다. 본 논문은 광역 분산 환경에서 USN 자원의 메타데이타를 효율적으로 검색할 수 있는 디렉토리 서비스의 위치탐색 모델을 논하고, USN 자원의 분포와 위치탐색 요청의 지역범위 별 빈도를 고려한 시뮬레이션 실험 결과를 제시한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the motivation of elderly people to participate in volunteer activities and to analyze the effect of participation motivation on satisfaction with volunteer activities of them. The 297 questionnaires which were collected from persons over 60 years old who were doing voluntary service activity in welfare center for the aged, Silver police in Goyang and Paju city. The frequency, factor and regression analysis were used for the research. The results are as follows: First, the motivations to participate in volunteer activities had four factors: self-realization, social activities, social responsibility, and personal achievements, and these factors had positive effect on satisfaction with volunteer activities. Second, the motivation to participation in volunteer activities and the degree of satisfaction with them were found to be different in accordance with age, education, income, religion and health.

This study aims to analyze relationship between effect on social value realization efforts and company performances, focusing on the mediating effect of external-support environment. Data for the analysis is collected from open data source from Social Enterprise Promotion Agency. The results of the analysis are, first the social value realization efforts has positive effect on both social and economic outcome of the social enterprises. External-support environment has influence on both social performance and social value realization efforts. Additional analysis to test mediation effect of external-support environment were carried out by statistical software package, Process for SPSS4.0. Mediation effect could be found between social realization efforts and social performances, however, no evidence could be found on economic performance. The result indicates that social value realization efforts as a social capital has influence on social performance mediated by external-support environment.

In this study, among the new industries that are attracting attention as a new industry to lead the 4th Industrial Revolution era, Korean traditional culture and arts are being promoted in the context of local community efforts and collaboration between industry and academia. It aims to create jobs through local traditional culture, arts, tourism events and design product development, while seeking ways to secure labor force that can save and revitalize high value-added industries in the community. In particular, in the current situation where the era of change and the education of traditional techniques are increasingly ignored and neglected, this study is a traditional cultural art through natural dyeing education and cultural and art events conducted by industry, regional universities, and research institutes in Pyeongtaek for many years. It is expected to be used as a basic data for the transmission and creation of high value-added jobs.

The purpose of this study is to understand volunteer work experiences of senior citizen volunteers serving in the welfare center in K district in the aspect of an insider and to apprehend the meaning. The objects of this study are fifteen senior citizen volunteers and two social workers who do volunteer works in the welfare center, and this study utilized the qualitative study method through observations and in-depth interviews from 2009.09.02 to 2009.10.21. The data analysis is processed by the qualitative analysis program, Nvivo 2.0, and the processed data are analyzed in accordance with the grounded theories of Strauss and Corbin. As a result of reviewing data, the meanings about volunteer work experiences of senior citizens are induced as eight factors; senior citizens' identity in an old aging society, desire fulfillment through volunteer works by senior citizens, various leisure activities to help their health in mind and body, acceptance attitude about aging, mental supports from their families, finding activities suitable for each person's personality and capability, changes of perception about the handicapped, and endeavors to spend meaningful old age. Through results and discussion obtained by this study, the conclusion is as below: First, participation induction factors are identities of elderly people in aging society, acceptance attitudes toward aging and emotional support from families in the matter of senior citizens' volunteer work. Second, programs suitable for individual aptitude and capability should be implemented for activating senior citizens' volunteer work. Third, participation in senior citizens' volunteer work indicates desire satisfaction through senior citizens' volunteer work, leisure activities helping health for body and mind, and life changes such as changes of perception about handicapped people etc.

사회발전으로 도시화가 진행됨에 따라 화재발생 및 피해 특성은 물론 소방 환경도 같은 지자체 내에서 지역적 차이가 발생하고 있다. 따라서 한정된 소방자원을 활용하여 화재에 효율적으로 대응하기 위해서는 소방 환경에 대한 면밀한 분석을 통해 정책적으로 접근할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 서울을 대상으로 다양한 소방 환경을 종합적으로 비교분석할 수 있는 소방안전지수를 개발한다. 개발된 소방안전지수는 소방환경의 취약지역을 효율적로 파악하고 대책마련을 위한 정책결정에 활용될 수 있다.
