대학도서관이 수행해야 할 보다 적극적이고 활동적인 서비스 형태로 이용자 학술지원을 위한 지식관리시스템의 모형, 즉 T 대학의 특수교육분야 중에서 장애인의 전환교육에 관련한 지식관리시스템 모형을 설계하였다. 이러한 지식관리시스템은 기존의 도서관 서비스의 확장된 영역으로 T 대학의 특성화를 달성할 수 있는 전문화된 서비스를 제공할 수 있고 전환교육에 대한 형식적 지식과 함께 조직구성원의 암묵적 지식을 축적함으로써 최신성 있는 데이터베이스를 유지할 수 있다.

Recently, interests in the notion of PKMS(Process based on Knowledge Management System) utilizing BPMS(Business Process Management System) and KMS(Knowledge Management System) have been significantly increased. Specially, most public organizations require their own effective knowledge management strategies since public business service needs various knowledge types. Based on a comprehensive framework that reflects lifecycle requirements of KMS and BPMS, we propose an PKMS system architecture, which performs step-by-step knowledge-providing strategy in public organization. To propose a PKMS architecture, this paper first investigates inter-relationships between public business and various knowledge types, and classifies knowledge types into three groups and then we suggest knowledge management strategies considering priority order among knowledge groups. Based on the proposed knowledge management, a PKMS system architecture can combine the advantages of the KM and BPM paradigms. This paper presents the PKMS system applied to employment insurance business part in real environment and demonstrated the advantages via inter-relationships between KM and BPM requirements.

정보 인프라를 기반으로 지식경영의 패러다임이 전개되고 있는 시점에서 지식의 생성 및 활용에 많은 연구가 진행되어지고 있다. 그러나 지식 창출 및 활용에 대한 뚜렷한 방법론 및 효율적인 지식관리모델의 부재로 개발된 지식관리시스템이 해당 지식의 적극적인 생성 및 활용을 유도할 수 없었다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 인터넷 기술을 활용하여 연구분야의 연구지식관리시스템 개발의 효과적인 방법론을 제시하고 제시된 방법에 따른 시스템 개발과 2년 간의 시범운영을 통해 문제점을 발견하고 그 해결 방안을 제시하였다.

정보근로자는 지식 중심의 사회에서 지식을 창출하고 소비하는 핵심적인 역할을 하고 있다. 따라서 지식관리 과정은 정보근로자의 업무패턴을 반영해야 한다. 또한 지식관리 도구는 수;q고 효과적으로 지식을 생성, 통합, 전파 할 수 있도록 지원해야 한다. 그러나 대부분의 지식관리 시스템은 정보근로자를 시스템의 기능으로 다루고 있기 때문에 정보근로자의 업무패턴과 요구사항을 반영하는데 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 정보근로자의 지식관리를 위해 요구되는 협업 정보교환, 정보접근의 중요성을 설명하며, 사회적 소프트웨어 기반의 지식관리 프로세스와 지식 변환 과정을 살펴본다.

This article surveyed the current situation of domestic R&D information system and investigated the possibility of knowledge-transformation for KMS. Four major requirements of the transformation were analyzed by applying evaluation index tool which was integrated and refined from the existed indices. and a process-oriented project approach was suggested with some practical implications for development of KMS.

본 논문은 영/한, 한/영 자동 번역용 대용량 번역 지식의 효과적인 관리를 위한 시스템 개발이다. 현재 개발 중의 ETRI의 영/한, 한/영 자동 번역 시스템의 개발 환경을 분석하고, gdbm 기반의 번역지식관리의 문제점을 정리하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 번역 지식 관리 시스템은 클라이언트/서버 구조를 가지는 MS SQL 서버 기반의 시스템이다. 번역 지식은 관계형 DB로 모델링하여 스키마를 설계하고 구현하였다. 관리 시스템에는 기존에 gdbm 파일로 구축해 놓은 지식을 번역지식 DB로 변환하기 위한 이전 도구, 번역지식 DB에 저장된 번역 지식을 검색하기 위한 검색 도구, 번역지식의 삽입, 삭제, 변경을 지원하는 구축도구로 구성된다.

Many organizations are operating knowledge management(KM) for their competitive advantage in dynamically changeable markets. To support KM successfully, they are considerably investing in knowledge management systems(KMS) development. By using KMS, organizations can lead to the improvement of their employees' knowledge level and the removal of inefficient tasks, consequently resulting in their competitive edge. On the basis of the power process perspective, this study investigates the CEO leadership and its organization's performance for successful development of KMS.

현재 지식에 대한 중요성의 인식으로 각 기업별로 정보 시스템 구축을 통한 지식의 축적을 시도하고 있고 데이터 웨어하우징(DW), 데이터마트, 전사적자원관리(ERP) 등 지식관리를 위한 핵심 시스템을 통해 구성원들간에 정보를 교환하고 있다. 이처럼 기업의 지식들이 생성, 공유, 관리, 보관되고 이를 보다 체계적이고 정교하게 구축하여 이용자가 보다 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 정보기술이 지식관리시스템(KMS)이다. XML은 여러 어플리케이션들의 표준화된 정보 전달의 매개가 되는 스펙으로 지식관리의 구조적 체계를 공유할 수 있는 기반을 만들어 줄 것이다. 지식 시스템은 분산된 정보와 시스템들의 상호 연동성을 보장할 수 있는 유연성과 확장성으로 표준규격의 XML을 연구하였다.
