Input System for effcient working process result using ATmega128 (ATmega128을 이용한 효율적인 작업공정 처리결과 입력 시스템)

  • 본 논문에서는 산업공장 내의 생산효율을 높이기 위하여 작업에 대한 지시를 효율적으로 이행하는 시스템을 개발하려고 한다. 모든 공장에서는 자동화와 더불어 안전하고 생산성 높은 시스템을 추구한다. 하지만 대부분의 공장에서는 작업공정이 비체계적이며, 자동화가 이루어지지 않는 실정이다. 제조 공장의 급격한 성장으로 인하여 다양하고 많은 제품이 동시 다발적으로 생산되는 상황에서 적기 생산과 완성도 높은 제품을 위한 작업 제어 관리가 필요한 시점으로 작업에 관련된 데이터를 재정리하는 과정이 필요하다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 작업공정 전체를 시스템으로 포착하여 각 설비(요소)의 안전 및 생산성 향상을 도모하여야 하며, 작업공정 처리 결과를 입력하여 제어할 수 있는 ATmega보드를 모듈화 해야한다. 본 논문은 입력장치 모듈과 ATmega128, WIFI 모듈을 접목하여 작업공정 데이터를 실시간으로 입력하는 작업공정 입력 시스템을 개발하였다. 이로 인하여 현 제조 공장 생산업무의 작업효율을 크게 향상시키고, 경영 개선에 이바지 하고자 한다.

A Study on the Cognitive/Affective Personality and Experiential Factors Influencing on Smart Phone Users' Emotional Exhaustion and Education Performance (스마트폰 이용자의 정서적 소진과 학습 성과에 영향을 주는 인지·감성 성향과 사용 경험에 관한 연구)

  • Nowadays, organizations have adopted Smart Work to efficiently manage tasks, such as electronic document approval, customer management, and site inspection, without spatial-temporal constraints. Smartphones, which are commonly used in Smart Work, enable individuals to perform their jobs anytime and anywhere, thus blurring the boundary between work and non-work. To solve the problem of blurred work/non-work boundaries, a construct of self-control and affective factors needs to be considered because business style is changed from command to autonomy in the Smart Work context. Moreover, employees can convey their emotions easily over smartphones. Recent marketing studies have analyzed consumers' behavior based on the combination of cognitive, affective, and behavioral components, and researchers of information systems are also interested in these factors. However, previous research has some limitations, such as not classifying factors into cognitive, affective, and behavioral as well as not covering all three factors. Therefore, we explore the roles of cognitive, affective, and behavioral components in emotional exhaustion and education performance, and conduct a survey on undergraduate and graduate students, who are the major users of smartphones. Findings show that when individuals improve their cognitive capability (self-control) and usage experience (smartphone communication and internet usage), they can decrease emotional exhaustion and increase education performance. In the role of affective capability, increasing education performance is partially accepted. These results imply that organizations should not focus on controlling the usage of smartphones but on promoting appropriate smartphone usage.

  • The industry is becoming more competitive and it is essential for any organization to continuously improve in order to stay competitive. As an effort to increase their technical and managenial capabilities, many organizations have been trying to adobt 'new knowledge' coming out of research and implementing it to their business processes. It is a common belif that tins theme of 'Knowledge Management' is helpful in keeping organizations healthy and competitive. This study was performed in the context of 'Knowledge Management'. This paper will describe the development process of the CII Knowledge Structure which was developed by CII to help its member organizations become incresingly 'knowlege-oriented'. The CII Knowldege Structure systematically organizes 'knowledge' that has been produced from various CII Research. Structure and contents of the CII Knowledge Structure and the implications of development of the Knowledge Structure will also be discussed in this paper.

A Study on the Structure and Content of Abstracts: Focused on Journal of the Korean Society for Information Management (초록의 구조와 내용에 관한 연구: 정보관리학회지를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to identify the characteristics of abstracts by analyzing the status of abstracts published in 'Journal of the Korean Society for Information Management.' To this end, the study analyzed the components of and the types of abstracts. Target abstracts were those published in the journal from 1984 to 2015. The journal published 1,168 articles with indicative abstracts accounting for 96.6%, informative abstracts 3.4%, and abstracts written in both English and Korean 99.5%. As for research methods, case study through literature review was 52.8%, surveys 21.1%, and experimentation 26.1%. The percentage of abstracts consisting of one paragraph was 92.1%, more than two paragraphs were 7.9%, fewer than 5 sentences were 79%, and 6 sentences or more were 21%. The use of the first person was 90.5%. In terms of topic areas, library and information center management was 19.4%, information services 17.3%, information technology 16.2%, information retrieval 15.1%, and informetrics 9.6%, etc.

Agent-based Investigation of Business Information from Internet Shopping Malls (에이전트 기반의 인터넷쇼핑몰 사업자신원정보 조사)

  • In Korea, The Consumer Protection Law in Electronic Commerce, which came into effect in July 2002, forced internet shopping malls to provide a minimum of 7 forms of business information, including the name of the business, the name of the representative, geographical address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, and business license number, so that consumers could easily identify them. To investigate the shopping malls which do not provide their business information, can lead to confidence in the electronic commerce environment. To investigate the completeness of the business information with the internet shopping malls, this paper proposes the methods of gathering URLs of internet shopping malls, of extracting business information attributes, and an architecture of the agent system. Information extraction in our research is based on synonyms and indicator words of the attributes. With the experiment we showed that the accuracy of our agent system to find out the right business information is 89.3%.

  • This research is on the relationship among organizational communication and organizational citizenship behavior focused on the moderating effect of transformational leadership. The objective of this research is to conduct positive verification of organizational communication impacting on organizational citizenship behavior. Also, to perform positive verification on moderating effect of transformational leadership. The variables are downward communication, upward communication, unofficial communication, organizational citizenship behavior including participatory actions, altruistic behavior, mindful behaviors, and transformational leadership. It was verified on survey of 232 peoples. The verification and analysis results will be provided to impact of organizational communication on organizational citizenship behavior, the downward communication impacts all elements of citizens' behaviors, and upward communication impacts of participatory actions. On the other hand, the unofficial communication did not impact at all. Moreover the results of moderating effect of transformational leadership. The transformational leadership act as moderator in downward, upward communications. but did not act as a moderator on the unofficial communication. The research suggests to use transformational leaderships to commanders and leaderships at military organizations to put efforts on active communication in order to manage unit more effectively and efficiently and to make members of organization to voluntarily. It is assessed that this paper will serve as a reference to whoever in military reform group or organization working for military developments working for creating elite forces.

A Machine Learning-based Total Production Time Prediction Method for Customized-Manufacturing Companies (주문생산 기업을 위한 기계학습 기반 총생산시간 예측 기법)

  • Due to the development of the fourth industrial revolution technology, efforts are being made to improve areas that humans cannot handle by utilizing artificial intelligence techniques such as machine learning. Although on-demand production companies also want to reduce corporate risks such as delays in delivery by predicting total production time for orders, they are having difficulty predicting this because the total production time is all different for each order. The Theory of Constraints (TOC) theory was developed to find the least efficient areas to increase order throughput and reduce order total cost, but failed to provide a forecast of total production time. Order production varies from order to order due to various customer needs, so the total production time of individual orders can be measured postmortem, but it is difficult to predict in advance. The total measured production time of existing orders is also different, which has limitations that cannot be used as standard time. As a result, experienced managers rely on persimmons rather than on the use of the system, while inexperienced managers use simple management indicators (e.g., 60 days total production time for raw materials, 90 days total production time for steel plates, etc.). Too fast work instructions based on imperfections or indicators cause congestion, which leads to productivity degradation, and too late leads to increased production costs or failure to meet delivery dates due to emergency processing. Failure to meet the deadline will result in compensation for delayed compensation or adversely affect business and collection sectors. In this study, to address these problems, an entity that operates an order production system seeks to find a machine learning model that estimates the total production time of new orders. It uses orders, production, and process performance for materials used for machine learning. We compared and analyzed OLS, GLM Gamma, Extra Trees, and Random Forest algorithms as the best algorithms for estimating total production time and present the results.

Futuristic VR image presentation technique for better mobile commerce effectiveness (모바일 상거래 효과를 높이기 위한 미래형 VR 이미지 프레젠테이션 기술)

  • Previous studies show that VR images can influence consumers' attitudes and behaviors by evoking imagination. In this study, we introduce a reality-based closed-loop 3D image (hereafter Virtualgraph). Then we try to see whether such image would increase evocativeness in a mobile commerce environment and whether higher telepresence of the visual image of a product can increase the purchase intention of that product. In order to find the above, we developed a model comprised of constructs containing telepresence, perceived value price, perceived food quality, and vividness of visual imagery questionnaire (VVIQ). We used Virtualgraph application to conduct an experiment, and then conducted an interview as well as a survey. As results of the experiment, survey and interview, we found the followings. First, users evoke imagination better with Virtualgraph than with still images. Second, increased evocativeness affects purchase intention if the perceived quality of fresh food product is satif actory. Third, increased evocativeness makes users value products higher and do even much higher when the perceived quality of fresh food product is good. From the interview, we could find that the experimental group had higher purchase intentions and perceived products as more expensive ones. Also, they perceived images of products clearer and more vivid than did the control group. We also discuss the strategic implications of using Virtualgraph in mobile shopping malls.

Impact of social relationships on self-related information processing and emotional experiences (사회적 관계가 개인의 정보처리와 정서경험에 미치는 효과)

  • Do social situations have an impact on an individual's information processing and emotional experiences? Two studies were conducted to investigate relationships between self-reference effects, emotional experiences and social information processing. Study 1 examined whether biases favoring self-related stimuli could occur automatically. Participants had to judge whether sequential geometric shape-label pairs matched or mismatched. The results showed that self-related stimuli are more rapidly processed than friends/others-related stimuli. In Study 2, the participants had to recall items which were presented with different instructions (either chosen by a friend or by the computer). Here we explored whether the self-reference effect is reduced in a social learning condition. When comparing the social learning condition (seated in pairs) with the nonsocial learning condition (seated alone), the participants recalled more self-related words in the nonsocial learning condition than in the social learning condition. Importantly, the automatic self-reference effect disappeared in the social learning condition. More friends-related words were recalled in the social condition than self-related words. In addition, while tasting chocolates, the participants judged them to be more likeable in the social condition than in the nonsocial condition. These results implicated that social processing can be useful for reducing the automatic self-reference effects and shared experiences are perceived more intensely than unshared experiences.
