의류업체의 지속가능경영 TBL 구성요소와 기업평가 및 브랜드 이미지 (Relationship of TBL Component in Corporate Sustainable Management of Fashion Company with Company Evaluation and Brand Image)

  • Fashion companies confront to environmental problem and resource depletion and have to consider 'sustainability' into their management. Corporate sustainable management of company is explained as the model of Triple Bottom Line which is composed of economic, social and environmental elements, thus we wanted to adapt this model to the case of fashion companies and the purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among the TBL elements which contain the economic, social and environmental responsibility, the evaluation on fashion company including the reliability, reciprocality and reputation of company, and the evaluation of brand image. We conducted the survey of questionnaire about 300 people in their 20's and performed statistical analysis. As a result, the elements of corporate sustainable management in fashion company are related to the company evaluation, and again company evaluation is correlated to the evaluation of brand image. Economic responsibility of fashion company is related with the reliability of company evaluation, social responsibility of fashion company with the reciprocality and reputation of company evaluation, and environmental responsibility is deeply related with reciprocality of fashion company's evaluation. The results of this study revealed the importance of corporate sustainable management of fashion companies, and the relationships in fashion industry are stronger than in other industry.

패션 브랜드의 반려견 패션산업 진출 사례의 특성 고찰 (A Study on the Characteristics of a Fashion Brand's Entry into the Pet Fashion Industry)

  • This case study investigates fashion brands that have entered the pet fashion market. A total of 25 cases were identified and analyzed from three perspectives: 1) product types, size systems, prices, 2) design aspects, fabrics, patterns, styles, and 3) marketing strategies. The study results are as follows. First, the product types of pet fashion are not diverse, and only the sizes of small dogs can be found. However, there is a significant price difference between brands. Second, knitted fabrics with good elasticity are mainly used for pet fashion products, and patterns incorporating their brands are extremely common. The style is casual and sporty. Third, marketing strategies should include a new line within a brand or launch a single specialized brand as a one-shot test for consumer reaction. Additionally, it has been expanded and presented as a family look to meet the needs of the petfam. Further, existing fashion brands and retail-based brands select diverse small-scale dog fashion product brands and expand their operation as a dog lifestyle total selectional shop. Therefore, brands entering the future should consider strategies such as size segmentation, product diversification, and premium price of high-quality materials that help market products such as the expansion or promotion of existing brands.

호흡 측정 기능의 스마트 의류를 위한 기초 디자인 연구 (A Study of the Basic Design for Smart Clothing based on Measurement of the Respiration)

  • 1990년대 이후 웰빙 라이프스타일의 도입 및 인구 고령화 사회의 진입으로 인해 언제 어디서나 지속적으로 측정가능한 생체 신호 센싱 모니터링 시스템에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이에 따라, 최근 지속적으로 호흡 측정이 가능한 시스템에 대한 연구 및 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있으나 소비자 수요에 기반한 스마트 의류적용을 위한 호흡 측정 시스템의 연구는 미비하다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 압전의 원리를 이용하여 호흡시 인체의 체표면이 변화하면서 센서에 가해지는 압력을 전기적 신호로 바꾸어 호흡을 측정하는, 전도성 섬유기반의 전기용량성 섬유 압력 센서(Textile Capacitive Pressure Sensor, TCPS)를 개발하였으며, 이를 실증적 연구를 통해 센서의 유용성을 입증하고자 하였다. 그 결과, Nasal로부터 측정된 호흡율과 TCPS를 통해 측정된 호흡율간의 상관계수는 r=0.9553 (p< 0.0001)로 TCPS의 신호 측정 정확성을 확인할 수 있었으며, 또한, 사용성 및 착용성 평가의 결과 인지적 변화, 착용성, 운동성, 관리의 용이성 및 유용성에서 모두 만족한다 정도의 평가 결과를 가져와 본 연구에서 개발된 TCPS의 착용성 및 의류 적합성을 입증하였다. 마지막으로 TCPS의 의류 적합 위치 평가 결과는 복부 부위에서 신호의 안정감을 갖으며, 착용감도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 최종적으로, 위의 결과들을 종합하여 호흡 측정 기능의 스마트 의류 개발을 위한 기초 디자인을 제시하였다.

지속가능패션교육을 위한 자유학년제 프로그램 개발 (제1보) -프로그램 현황 분석 및 제안을 중심으로- (Development of a Free School Year Program for Sustainable Fashion Education I -Focused on Status Analysis and Suggestion about the Program-)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a free semester program using sustainable materials therefore improving the clothing & textiles section of the middle school textbook and the systematic and in-depth sustainable fashion education based on theme selection activity, as one of free semester system activities in the middle school. Our analysis on the programs, which was performed from 2018 to 2019, showed that the clothing & textiles programs were majorly focused making simple household items through basic needlework and knitting. The programs that related to the sustainable fashion education were environmental programs associated with other textbooks, or mainly included simple upcycling and were mainly operated as arts & physical education or club activities, rather than theme selection programs. According to results from a questionnaire survey on teachers incharge of the system, they had an intention of starting sustainable fashion education program or clothing & textiles section but failed due to low number of participants, practice cost, and time burden. Based on our analysis, this study proposed a 17-session based free semester program that includes the understanding of the sustainable fashions concept, classification of sustainable materials and systematic and stepwise practice in association with the middle school textbook clothing & textile section. The teaching materials developed in this study are expected to be incorporated in the program that helps students understand the right concept of sustainable fashions and respond to the pending environmental issue actively and systematically.

지속 가능한 느린 디자인 특성과 현대 패션의 상관성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Correlation between Sustainable Slow Design and Contemporary Fashion)

  • This study examines the correlation between the characteristics of sustainable slow design, The outcome derived from the pro-environmental consciousness in fashion design, and the trends of modern fashion design. The conclusion of this study is as follows. First, slow design for sustainability shows an environmental consciousness and stresses the ethical aspects of fashion design that take into account the wellbeing and sustainable development of human society. It also focuses on the continuos present in which the consistent pace of life endures, rather than pursuing speedy changes of fashion by titillating desire. Second, the five characteristics of slow design have been extracted from the analysis of the examples of fashion industry and other fashion-related areas. They are sustainability, recyclibility, handicraft, naturalness, and simplicity. Third, these characteristics of slow design have much to do with modern fashion genres. For instance, classical style fashions such as Chanel suit and Burberry coat have the same qualities of sustainability, while at the same time the Vintage fashion, which reinterprets the fashions from bygone eras in modern style, has the tendency of recyclibility, and the Hippie style, a resurrection of hand-touch spirit that emerged as a secondhand style expressionism resisting uniform mass production, has not only the quality of handicraft but also recyclibility.

패션기업의 지속가능성에 대한 소비자 인식이 신뢰, 선호도 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (Consumers' Perception of Fashion Companies' Sustainability and Its Effect on Trust, Preference, and Purchase Intention)

  • Discussions on sustainability in the fashion industry highlight the need for a holistic and strategic approach. This study investigated consumers' perception of fashion companies' sustainability and its relationship with value and perceived consumer effectiveness as well as with consumer trust, preference, and purchase intention. The assessment scale of fashion companies' sustainability was developed for this study and data were obtained from 645 consumers in their 20's to 60's in Korea. As a result, consumers' value and perceived consumer effectiveness had significant effects on consumers' perception of fashion companies' sustainability. Universalism, security/benevolence and perceived consumer effectiveness were variables that had significant effects on all four dimensions of sustainability. Consumer's perception of fashion companies' sustainability significantly influenced consumer trust, preference and purchase intention. Especially, environmental, societal, and cultural sustainability (rather than economic dimension) were shown to have a greater impact on consumers' trust, preference and purchase intention.

친환경패션에 나타난 디자인적 요소의 특성 -선행연구의 내용분석을 중심으로- (Characteristics of Design Elements in Environment-Friendly Fashion -Focus on the Content Analysis of Previous Literature-)

  • In the current fashion design, the 'environmental friendliness' affects the practically and conceptuality in all industry and culture sectors. This study seeks to examine specific design elements as the content of design factors in environment oriented fashion. The subjects of this paper are studied through scholarly journals that are confined to those from 1990 (when naturalism and ecology trends started to be in fashion) to February 2009. This study used 'Naturalism', 'Green', 'Environment-friendly', 'Eco', 'Sustainable', 'Well-being' and 'Lohas' as key words for the literature search. The analysis is performed through a content analysis and the unit of analysis is based upon the adjectives, nouns, and phrases related to the content of the design elements such as line, color, and textiles. In the results, more expression is natural, minimal, transformable, and sportive style in line, YR, white, soft, pale, and dull tone in color. The prominent textiles and texture were natural fabrics, environment-friendly fabrics, recycled fabrics, natural dyeing, functional finishes, rustic surfaces, flexibility, and extensibility. The results of this paper will help in future fashion design product development for environment-friendly fashion brands.

텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 윤리적 패션 연구동향: 2009-2019 연구 네트워크 분석 (Ethical Fashion Research Trend Using Text Mining: Network Analysis of the Published Literature 2009-2019)

  • The fashion industry has faced environmental, social, and ethical issues due to increased interest in ethical consumption. Numerous ethical studies have been conducted in the fashion industry. This study looked at the current state of research by year, academic journal, and detail in major related papers published in Scopus, KCI and KCI between 2009 and 2019. Ethical fashion studies began to appear in 2009 and were concentrated in certain academic journals and focused on fashion marketing and fashion design. Topics in ethical fashion were terms such as sustainable, eco-friendly, up-cycling, recycling, eco, zero-waist, and organic. In ethical fashion studies, environmental studies were conducted most often; in addition, the terms used along with ethical fashion tend to be frequently used for each particular major. Looking at key words used in research by period, the study showed that research was most diverse between 2016 and 2019. In particular, environmental and social issues of ethical fashion and convergence with animal protection, new distribution, science and technology sectors were newly added between 2016 and 2019. This study used text mining and network analysis to understand the overall trends of ethical fashion studies in Korea. In conclusion it is important to realize the relationship between the main words along with the current status analysis.

  • 탄성체는 크게 열경화성 탄성체(thermosetting elastomer)와 열가소성 탄성체(thermoplastic elastomer)로 분류할 수 있다. 이러한 탄성체들 가운데 대표적인 소재로 반복하여 재사용이 가능하여 경제적인 소재이며 환경친화적인 소재인 열가소성 폴리우레탄에 대한 관심이 높아져 왔고 그에 따른 연구도 활발히 진행되어 왔다. 이러한 열가소성 폴리우레탄(TPU)은 가공의 용이성과 양호한 물리적 ㆍ화학적 성질 때문에 섬유용 소재에서 엔지니어링 플라스틱에 이르기까지 광범위한 산업용 소재로의 개발을 통하여 사용량이 지속적으로 증가를 보이고 있다.
