Shielding Effects of an Overhead Ground Wire in the Electric Railway Systems due to Direct Lightning Strokes (전기철도시스템에서 직격뇌에 대한 가공지선의 내뇌효과)

  • This paper describes the effect of an overhead ground wire in Power distribution lines of electric railways due to direct lightning strokes. Using the EMTP, the effects of an overhead ground wire and a s-horn are analyzed quantitatively. Also, the influences of the structure of electric railways and of peak value and time-to-half value of a stroke currents are evaluated. The analysis show that in installation of in overhead ground wire into a existing railway system, the induced voltage in power distribution lines of electric railways in suppressed.

  • 송전선에서의 낙뢰재해에 관해서는 지금까지 시행하고 있는 각공지선 또는 아킹혼의 설치, 철탑 접지저항 저감을 위한 매설지선의 설치 그리고 일본 전력회사에서 시행하고 있는 알루미늄을 함유한 애자의 채용 등 여러 가지 대책을 시행한 결과 낙뢰로 인한 설비 피해사고는 현격하게 감소되었다.

Meiobenthic Animals of the Tidal Flat Near the Yeonggwang Nuclear Power Plant (영광원전 주변 해역의 조간대 갯벌에 서식하는 중형저서생물)

  • Meiobenthic community structure of tidal flats near the Yeonggwang Nuclear Power Plant have studied during summer (June) and fall (October) 1997. Examination of sediment samples collected along the transects showed that there were 18 different types of meiobenthos in the study area. The most abundant meiobenthic animals belonged to Phylum Nematoda in both seasons and all transects. However, sediment samples collected near discharge areas, transects A and B, showed relatively lower abundance than other general coastal areas. Another abundant meiobenthic organism is benthic Harpacticoids which is very sensitive to any environmental changes. Polycheats and Ostracods were next abundant meiobenthos which also showed the difference between the study area and other general coastal areas. Only transect C maintained similar meiobenthic abundance and diversity to other coastal areas. Horizontal distribution for transects A and B showed higher densities in upper and mid tidal flat zones. On the other hand, transect C which is located furtherest from the discharges showed an increasing trend in abundance from upper to lower areas. For size distribution analyses showed that animals which fit into the meshsize of 0.125 mm were abundant, Vertical distribution of meiobenthic animals within the sediments for both sampling seasons showed the highest individual numbers in the surface sediment layers of 0-1 cm depth and showed a decreasing trend as sediment gets deeper. Each class of meiobenthos had different vertical profiles. When comparing survey transects A and B with other similar tidal flat areas, this sites seems to a very unstable environment of tidal flats near the Yeonggwang Nuclear Power Plant.

Sonographic Appearance of Steatocystoma: An Analysis of 14 Pathologically Confirmed Lesions (지선낭종의 초음파 소견: 조직학적으로 진단된 14개 병변의 분석)

  • Purpose To evaluate the ultrasonographic characteristics of steatocystomas focusing on the features that aid in differentiating them from epidermal inclusion cysts and lipomas. Materials and Methods The ultrasonographic findings of 14 histologically proven steatocystomas in 10 patients were retrospectively reviewed. The following features were assessed: the layer of involvement, shape, margin, echogenicity, posterior acoustic features, and the presence of a visible wall or intralesional striations. The findings were compared with those of subcutaneous lipomas and epidermal inclusion cysts to identify those findings that aid in the differential diagnosis of steatocystomas. Results The majority of steatocystomas appeared as a subcutaneous mass (n = 6, 42.9%) or a mass involving both the dermal and subcutaneous layers (n = 6, 42.9%). Steatocystomas exhibited a well-defined smooth margin (n = 12, 85.7%) and homogeneous echogenicity (n = 9, 64.3%), and showed no specific posterior acoustic features (n = 9, 64.3%). The most important features that differentiated steatocystomas from epidermal inclusion cysts were a homogeneous internal echotexture (p = 0.009) and absent or less prominent posterior acoustic enhancement (p < 0.001). The features that distinguished steatocystomas from lipomas were the margin (p < 0.001), echogenicity (p = 0.034), internal echotexture (p = 0.004), and the absence of intralesional striations (p < 0.001). Conclusion Steatocystomas appeared as well-defined homogeneous masses with mild or absent posterior acoustic enhancement.

  • 가공배전선로는 태풍과 같은 자연재해에 상시 노출되어 시설되므로 전기고장 및 설비피해가 발생할 우려가 매우 높다. 그러나 이와 관련한 실질적인 연구들이 부족하여 가공배전선로의 설계원들이 직선선로의 경간 결정시 단순히 저압부하밀도 및 전주강도만을 고려하고 있으며, 인류지선 및 종지선의 규격 선정방법을 잘 이해하지 못함에 따라 규격 선정의 오류가 발생되기도 한다. 따라서 본 고에서는 그 동안의 연구결과를 바탕으로 가공배전선로 설계시 수평선간이격거리를 고려한 경간 결정방법과 장경간 및 표준경간의 인류지선, 장경간개소 종지선 결정방법에 대하여 사례를 통해서 설명하였다. 본 고에서 제시한 방법에 따라 설계검토를 시행한다면 표준경간에서 선간단락고장을 예방할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 장경간 및 표준경간의 인류지선 및 종지선의 강도가 재해시에도 충분한 강도를 확보하여 설비피해 및 전기고장을 예방할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 본 논문은 기존에 사람의 인력이나 열화상 카메라에 의존하고 있는 배전선 기자재 점검을 사람대신 로봇이 점검 작업을 하고 기존의 열화상 카메라만 사용하는 점검 방법에 CCD 카메라를 추가로 사용하여 열화상 이미지와 실영상을 같이 획득하도록 하여 배전선 점검 작업의 안전성 확보와 고장진단의 결과 값들의 객관성 있고 정확한 데이터를 획득을 할 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 로봇이 가공지선을 자율주행하면서 발생하는 포스트 간 이동, 가공지선 회피, 가공지선 다 분기와 같은 문제가 발생하게 되는데 이러한 문제점들은 센서 융합 방법을 사용하여 로봇이 가공지선을 원활하게 자율주행을 할 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 배전선 기자재들의 자연적 현상 때문에 발생하는 기자재의 부식과 열화로 변하게 되는 기자재들의 온도를 열화상 카메라로 분석하여 배전선 기자재들의 불량 기준 온도를 초과하게 되면 열화상 이미지와 CCD 카메라의 실영상 이미지가 자동으로 캡쳐 되고 저장 될 수 있게 하였다. 이러한 모든 동작들은 로봇이 자율주행을 하면서 이루어진다.

Characteristics of Transient Grounding Impedances of Counterpoises Relevant to the Injected Point of Impulse Currents (임펄스전류의 인가위치에 따른 매설지선의 과도접지임피던스 특성)

  • This paper presents the dependances of transient grounding impedances of counterpoises on the soil structures and the injected point of impulse currents. The transient and conventional grounding impedances of the 25 and 50[m] counterpoises buried in the soil with different resistivity were measured and analyzed as a function of the rise time of impulse currents. As a result, the transient grounding impedances give an inductive behavior, and the trend of the conventional grounding impedances is similar to that of the transient grounding impedances. The ground resistance of counterpoises is irrespective to the injected of impulse current, but the transient and conventional grounding impedances in a short time range especially depend on the soil resistivity and position of the injected point of impulse currents.

  • When lightning surges with wide frequency spectrum and power converting devices are considered, it is desirable to evaluate grounding system performance by grounding impedances. This paper presents the measured results for frequency-dependent grounding impedance for the vertical grounding electrode and counterpoise on a scale of full size. Grounding impedances of vertical grounding electrodes and counterpoises give capacitive or inductive behaviors according to the length of grounding electrodes and soil resistivity. It is inefficient to extend the length of the grounding electrode in order to decrease the ground resistance, and when designing the grounding system, the consideration of the grounding impedance should be desirable. In order to reduce the grounding impedance of counterpoise, the grounding conductors are jointed at the center of counterpoises. It is effective to reduce the grounding impedance by connecting ground rods to counterpoises in parallel.

A Study on the Feeder Transit Route Choice Technique (대중교통 지선노선 선정기법에 관한 연구)

  • In the case of the feeder bus route choice, it is more desirable to choose the route by treating as a single route linked from origin to destination than the whole network. This study is to establish a concept that frames the feeder bus route choice technique for the change of the existing single bus route or the creation of the new feeder bus route. The concept of the feeder bus route choice technique in this study is not to frame the whole bus network but to frame a single route to a unit O-D pair. So, this study has the assumption that does not consider the waiting and transfer time at the bus stop. This system technique consists of the following phases: I) limitation of the road network examined for the study, ii) enumeration of the appropriate candidate routes by the permissive route length, and iii) determination of the optimum bus route by the route evaluation value.

  • 전기 철도시스템에는 많느 궤환 전류가 흐르고 이로 인하여 제어시스템의 오동작과 인명 손상의 위험이 따른다. 본 연구에서는 대용량의 노이즈 및 서지 전류로부터 인명과 설비를 보호를 위한 대책으로 역사간의 접지 매설 지선을 할용하여 안전성을 개선하기 위한 방안을 연구하였다. 본 논문에서는 역사내 전체의 통합접지를 구성하여 등 전위를 확보하고, 역사간 매설지선과 일정 간격 접지봉으로 시공함으로서 전기철도 선로에서 지락사고 및 낙뢰등에 대한 위험전압을 감소시킬 수 있는 방안을 시뮬레이션하여 확인하였다.
