The purpose of this study is to analyze responses of children and teachers in elementary school to math texts applying storytelling in use, and propose some efficient methods for teaching the noumenon of math concept via storytelling math according to analyzed results. For this purpose, we choose 2nd grade children and teachers in J Province for the effects of the storytelling questionnaire study. The results of the survey lead that most children add zest to the math and most teachers are positive to the storytelling math, however, some of low-level and high-level math children lose their interest in math, and some teachers need some systematic devices to help them understand sufficiently and can teach the storytelling math meaningfully. Therefore, there seems to be needed a program that help children develop the achievement of math and teachers teach the storytelling math expertly.

This study is derived from a student who can add without knowing the addition principle. To understand where the student's response come from, we came to analyse the curriculum contents of natural numbers, decimals and fractions addition principle. At the same time, we surveyed two different school of forty six sixth grade participants with questionnaires to determine whether it is a problem of the student or an universal one. As a result, we found that there is a room for improvement in the addition and connections of addition. We propose appropriate instructional method regarding connections of addition and addition principle of natural numbers, decimals and fractions. The conclude there is a close relation and differences among the principles of natural numbers, decimals and fractions in the proposed instructional method. Therefore, we need to consider and instruct the differences of the number expansion.

This study aims to investigate the characteristics and to classify the foreign volcanic disaster maps. Authors try to extract the components of volcanic disaster maps and apply them to the Mt. Baekdu volcano that receives worldwide attention recently has been on an early stage in Korea. Internationally, volcano ash disaster maps are derived and reviewed through three analytical framework components: Hazard Map, Risk Map, and Damage Map. These derived components of volcano ash disaster mapping systems are: 1) cumulative map of past disaster records, 2) probabilistic risk map, 3) scenario-based map and case-by-case utilization maps (evacuation response type, emergency information type, disaster preparedness education type) based on this components are presented.

Due to the high level of economic development, the standard of living has improved vastly. As a result, the moderns now want to be healthy more than ever. For that reason, tourism relating health care increased in number and at those tourist sites, people have tried to allure more visitors by services, resources and facilities all accommodating to better health. On a claim that promoting tourist attractions using health care assists regional development in this study, I seek for ways to utilize regional resources and facilities to promote tourism.

This study aims to develope the production method of digital image map of high capable utiliy and terrain interpretability using aerial photo and Geospatial Information System. Theory and efficient practical method was studied to generate tile digital image map with low-cost personal computer system using the merging procedure of raster scanned aerial photo and vector topographic map. Determination theory of ground coordinates, digital image processing, production of digital elevation model was reviewed. And some chariteristics of digital image map, image collection method and significant concepts of digital image processing was studied. Also input and output way of image data to generate the digital image nap, production method of orthophoto map using aerial photo through digital differential rectification was studied. As the result, digital image map was produced and analyzed through the above mentioned procedures.

The Educational situation of studying the effect of maximizing through Student's Self-directed demand varying educational environment on a Learner-Centered understanding of existing ICT deficiencies. But schools recognize computer skill learning as all of computer education contents. This study is established in an 'e-PBL environment' in use with 'Ulsan Cyber Home Study' on a learner-centered and design teaching method for an effective computer course. This study presents effective learner-centered teaching methods. It does this using the web environment 'Ulsan Cyber Home Study' and reconstructing each unit of the ICT textbook 'Our Living and Information'.

This paper suggests the method for saving the digital map which was made through aerial photography to ORDBMS (Object Relational Database Management System) and analyze its efficiency through experiments. The digital map has been used by file units because of managing or providing it to others. But this way can not get sequential graphic entities and just use it which was included in only one map. In this paper, we saved the digital map to ORDBMS at a time after converted the digital map entities based on the tile to the things can be inserted to ORDBMS. And, we also proved the possible methods to extract the graphic entities what we need from entire blueprint through experiments.

Classification is presented in the curriculum of elementary school mathematics, science, Korean language, and integrated subjects as the major function that needs to be learned. In addition, mathematics textbooks teach the classification as a basic process for organizing and interpreting collected materials in a separate unit. So, we analyzed the curriculum documents and textbooks of mathematics, science, Korean language, and integrated subjects. And we explored how to teach the classification in the context of mathematics subject. As a result, it is necessary to find different classification criteria in conjunction with detailed observation and investigation activities, and to teach that considering the circumstances and purpose of the classification. It also provided implications on how to revive converged classes that focus on big ideas and skills, which are commonly offered by various subjects.

In this study, amateur baseball team leaders studied ways to train student baseball team players through records management. To this end, a system was developed that could apply the formula for obtaining various secondary records or savermetrics data. The team distributed the information to three leaders of the student baseball team and studied the training guidelines through the target group interface. Through the records, students were able to increase motivation and make sure that all the players were faithful to their roles.

It is essential to build a integrated database (DB) to grasp the present status and various analysis of the economic, social and cultural sectors of local governments and to provide various inquiries on the status data of the local governments according to the purpose of analysis. This study proposed a design method of the integrated DB which can support the inquiry and analysis of the data by the local government. The integrated DB should cover a wide range of heterogeneous data on the economic, social and cultural activities of local governments, and it is necessary to design a schema that can integrate the entire data considering differences between local governments and data elements. The data should be structured in accordance with the characteristics, and it should be possible to inquire related data comprehensively through the search through the keywords. In addition, data retrieval and downloading functions are indispensable for the researcher to easily retrieve data necessary for research purpose and to download and modify data for analysis.
