  • 전 세계적인 에너지 확보 위기와 $CO_2$ 과다 배출로 인한 지구 온난화 문제에 당면한 현재의 전력산업이 다음 세기에도 지속적으로 성장해 가기 위해서는 에너지 효율 향상과 신 재생에너지에 바탕을 둔 분산전원의 활성화를 통한 환경과의 조화와 더불어 미래 디지털 시대의 에너지 조건을 충족시키기 위한 IT기술과 전력기술의 융합을 통한 자동화되고 지능화된 전력시스템 즉, 스마트그리드로의 변화가 절실히 요구되고 있다. 스마트그리드의 주요 분야 중에서 AMI(Advanced Metering Infrastructure)는 최종 전력 소비자와 전력회사 사이의 전력서비스인프라로, 지능형 전력망(Smart Grid) 구현에 필수적인 핵심 인프라 시스템이며, 공급-수요 상호 인지 기반 수요반응(Demand Response) 실현을 위한 중요 수단이라 할 수 있으며, 다양한 유형의 분산전원체계, 배전지능화시스템 등과 정보 연계 등 미래 지능형 전력망 운용을 위해 요구되는 최우선 지능화 전력망 인프라로 인식되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 AMI 시스템의 해외 구축 동향과 관련 기술 그리고 국내 적용을 위한 방안에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.

  • With the rapid development of information and telecommunication technologies, the adoption of ubiquitous technologies is increasing for the realization of new effective u-City services. u-City is defined as a next-generation informatization city that can innovate a city's various functions, such as improving the welfare of the citizenry, ensuring safety based on systematic urban management, improving the quality of lives, and increasing convenience in city life, by merging cuttingedge information and telecommunication infrastructures and ubiquitous information services with urban space. There is therefore a need to recognize that a successful u-City implementation strategy involves developing the previous UIS into a ubiquitous technology-based UIS and integrating UIS's various urban informations with effective u-City services. In this paper, for UIS-based u-City implementation, the intelligent integration model of urban spatial information based on interoperability is proposed.

  • 인터넷이 보편화되고 교육 분야에서도 웹을 이용한 원격 학습에 많은 연구와 기술이 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 기존의 e-learning 시스템은 학습 자원의 재사용 문제 등 여러 가지 문제점이 제시되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 학습 컨텐츠의 제작과 학습 관리 시스템의 구현에 있어 학습의 상호 작용성을 높이고 학습자의 개별적인 특성에 알맞게 지능적으로 학습을 지원할 수 있는 학습 관리 로직을 설계한다. 또한 컨텐츠의 재사용을 고려하여 시스템간 상호 운용성을 보장할 수 있는 SCORM 표준을 기반으로 한 학습관리 시스템을 설계한다.

  • Lately, in the automotive market appeared keywords such as convenience, safety in presentation and increase importance of pan of vehicle. Accordingly, the use of many electronic devices was required essentially and communication between electronic devices is being highlighted. Various devices such as controllers, sensors and multimedia device(audio, speakers, video, navigation) in-vehicle connected car network such as CAN, MOST. Modem in-vehicle network managed and operated as purpose of each other. In this Paper, intelligent car navigation considering convenience and safety implement on MOST Network and present system to control CAN Network in vehicle.

  • The development of information and communication technology in the 21st century has increased operational efficiency by providing hyper-connectivity and hyper-intelligence in the control systems of major infrastructure, but is also increasing security vulnerabilities, exposing it to hacking threats. Among them, the electric power system that supplies electric power essential for daily life has become a major target of cyber-attacks as a national critical infrastructure system. Recently, in order to protect these power systems, various security systems have been developed and the stability of the power systems has been maintained through practical cyber battle training. However, as cyber-attacks are combined with advanced ICT technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data, it is not easy to defend cyber-attacks that are becoming more intelligent with existing security systems. In order to defend against such intelligent cyber-attacks, it is necessary to know the types and aspects of intelligent cyber-attacks in advance. In this study, we analyzed the evolution of cyber attacks combined with advanced ICT technology.

A Framework of Intelligent Middleware for DNA Sequence Analysis in Cloud Computing Environment (DNA 서열 분석을 위한 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기반 지능형 미들웨어 설계)

  • The development of NGS technologies, such as scientific workflows, has reduced the time required for decoding DNA sequences. Although the automated technologies change the genome sequence analysis environment, limited computing resources still pose problems for the analysis. Most scientific workflow systems are pre-built platforms and are highly complex because a lot of the functions are implemented into one system platform. It is also difficult to apply components of pre-built systems to a new system in the cloud environment. Cloud computing technologies can be applied to the systems to reduce analysis time and enable simultaneous analysis of massive DNA sequence data. Web service techniques are also introduced for improving the interoperability between DNA sequence analysis systems. The workflow-based middleware, which supports Web services, DBMS, and cloud computing, is proposed in this paper for expecting to reduceanalysis time and aiding lightweight virtual instances. It uses DBMS for managing the pipeline status and supporting the creation of lightweight virtual instances in the cloud environment. Also, the RESTful Web services with simple URI and XML contents are applied for improving the interoperability. The performance test of the system needs to be conducted by comparing results other developed DNA analysis services at the stabilization stage.

  • 이 글에서는 자동차 Body 전자제어 시스템 개요 및 개발동향에 대하여 살펴보았다. 향후 Body 전자제어 분야에서는 사고예방을 위한 첨단 안전 시스템 개발, 정보 및 통신시스템을 이용한 Navigation 시스템 개발, 차량 LAN구축, ECU(Electronic Control Unit) 통합기술 개발을 위한 노력이 가속화될 것으로 전망된다. 이러한 시스템의 개발을 위해서는 자동차 부문과 관련 전자 부문의 긴밀한 공동 연구체제가 확립되어야 함과 동시에 통신기능을 갖춘 지능형 도로 시스템 구축, 교통전용 방송국 운용 등 정부차원에서의 Infra-structure 건설이 시급한 상황이다. 이를 위하여 정부 주관하에 자동차 각사, 유관업체 및 연구기관의 참여로 전국 도로에 대한 Digital Map 개발을 위한 G-7 Project 등의 다양한 계획이 진행중이거나 추진 예정으로 있는 바 성공적으로 수행될 경우 2005년을 전후로 하여 안전성 및 편의성 측면에서 완벽한 시스템을 구축할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Intelligent 3-D Obstacle Avoidance Algorithm for Autonomous Control of Underwater Flight Vehicle (수중비행체의 자율제어를 위한 지능형 3-D 장애물회피 알고리즘)

  • In real system application, the 3-D obstacle avoidance system for the autonomous control of the underwater flight vehicle (UFV) operates with the following problems: the sonar offers the range/bearing information of obstacles in a local detection area, it requires the system that has reduced acoustic noise and power consumption in terms of the autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV), it has the UFV operation constraints such as maximum pitch and depth, and it requires an easy design procedure in terms of its structures and parameters. To solve these problems, an intelligent 3-D obstacle avoidance algorithm using the evolution strategy (ES) and the fuzzy logic controller (FLC), is proposed. To verify the performance of the proposed algorithm, the 3-D obstacle avoidance of UFV is performed. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm effectively solves the problems in the real system application.

A Design and Implementation of Framework for Interworking between Heterogeneous Vehicle Networks for Intelligent Transportation System (지능형 교통시스템을 위한 이기종 차량 네트워크의 연동 프레임워크 설계 및 구현)

  • There are many kinds of networks in vehicle for their purposes. In-vehicle networks, however, are not unified to single network. The networks are composed of several local networks because of communication speed, cost and efficiency. Because the complexity of network design for communication increases, local networks need a framework for interworking between heterogeneous networks. In this paper, a framework interworking between in-vehicle networks for ITS(Intelligent Transportation System) is proposed and implemented. The proposed framework consists of a compatible protocol, message conversion module, message transceiver module and message analysis module. The results obtained by implementation show that the framework efficiently supports the communication of information between heterogeneous in-vehicle networks.

  • The purpose of this paper is to study a scheme to ITS service which enables the data (spatial, non-spatial and image) sharing among heterogeneous system (various environment) with employing the concept of object orientedness and to show Location Reference Technique of ITS Space DB for interoperability. Data warehouse service, query object service, interface object service, and naming object service have been identified for this. In addition, a metadata management object service and persistent object service based system framework has been devised. The proposed skeletal framework would be expected to be functioning well for ITS data sharing environment and for the interoperability support.
