Comparison of Models for Stock Price Prediction Based on Keyword Search Volume According to the Social Acceptance of Artificial Intelligence (인공지능의 사회적 수용도에 따른 키워드 검색량 기반 주가예측모형 비교연구)

  • Recently, investors' interest and the influence of stock-related information dissemination are being considered as significant factors that explain stock returns and volume. Besides, companies that develop, distribute, or utilize innovative new technologies such as artificial intelligence have a problem that it is difficult to accurately predict a company's future stock returns and volatility due to macro-environment and market uncertainty. Market uncertainty is recognized as an obstacle to the activation and spread of artificial intelligence technology, so research is needed to mitigate this. Hence, the purpose of this study is to propose a machine learning model that predicts the volatility of a company's stock price by using the internet search volume of artificial intelligence-related technology keywords as a measure of the interest of investors. To this end, for predicting the stock market, we using the VAR(Vector Auto Regression) and deep neural network LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory). And the stock price prediction performance using keyword search volume is compared according to the technology's social acceptance stage. In addition, we also conduct the analysis of sub-technology of artificial intelligence technology to examine the change in the search volume of detailed technology keywords according to the technology acceptance stage and the effect of interest in specific technology on the stock market forecast. To this end, in this study, the words artificial intelligence, deep learning, machine learning were selected as keywords. Next, we investigated how many keywords each week appeared in online documents for five years from January 1, 2015, to December 31, 2019. The stock price and transaction volume data of KOSDAQ listed companies were also collected and used for analysis. As a result, we found that the keyword search volume for artificial intelligence technology increased as the social acceptance of artificial intelligence technology increased. In particular, starting from AlphaGo Shock, the keyword search volume for artificial intelligence itself and detailed technologies such as machine learning and deep learning appeared to increase. Also, the keyword search volume for artificial intelligence technology increases as the social acceptance stage progresses. It showed high accuracy, and it was confirmed that the acceptance stages showing the best prediction performance were different for each keyword. As a result of stock price prediction based on keyword search volume for each social acceptance stage of artificial intelligence technologies classified in this study, the awareness stage's prediction accuracy was found to be the highest. The prediction accuracy was different according to the keywords used in the stock price prediction model for each social acceptance stage. Therefore, when constructing a stock price prediction model using technology keywords, it is necessary to consider social acceptance of the technology and sub-technology classification. The results of this study provide the following implications. First, to predict the return on investment for companies based on innovative technology, it is most important to capture the recognition stage in which public interest rapidly increases in social acceptance of the technology. Second, the change in keyword search volume and the accuracy of the prediction model varies according to the social acceptance of technology should be considered in developing a Decision Support System for investment such as the big data-based Robo-advisor recently introduced by the financial sector.

  • 유비쿼터스 사회에서는 언제, 어디서나 네트워크에 연결하여 다양한 형태의 실감 정보를 제공 받아 더욱더 풍요로운 삶을 누릴 수 있을 것이다. 이것은 음성인식 및 영상합성 생성기술, 입체 영상/음향 입?출력기술, IT-NT-BT 기술융합의 가속화로 지능형 실감형 정보처리는 물론 휴먼정보 등의 다양한 정보처리가 가능한 유비쿼터스 휴대 단말기에 의해서 실현될 것이다. 휴대 단말기에서 반도체는 약 $40{\sim}50%$의 비중을 차지하는 가장 중요한 부품이며, 다양한 지능형 실감형 정보를 처리하기 위하여 막대한 양의 데이터를 처리할 수 있는 저전력 고성능 반도체 SoC 개발이 필수적이다. 본고에서는 휴대 단말기에 사용되는 SoC 기술 및 재구성형 프로세서 기술 동향을 파악함으로써, 유비쿼터스 단말기에서 필수적으로 사용될 반도체 SoC 기술의 발전 방향에 대해서 전망해 보았다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the educational programs for cultivating balanced view of technical understanding and social impact on Artificial Intelligence (AI). To this end, an educational program based on a constructivist approach was developed. Through an experimental class for middle school students we analyzed the concept and perception of AI and the satisfaction of the class. The main results are as follows. First, students' understanding of the concept and the cases of AI in their daily lives has improved. Second, the recognition of the impact of AI on society has emerged and concern about social impact have been lowered. Third, in terms of program satisfaction, all the factors such as understanding of AI, interest in class, interest in AI were high. With these results, we discussed the implications for AI education in elementary and secondary school.

Consumers' Perception of Intelligent Vehicle (지능형 자동차에 대한 소비자의 인식 유형 연구)

  • As the intelligent vehicle market continues to develop relevant technologies and services for consumers, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of potential consumers. The purpose of this study is to identify and understand the types of potential consumers of intelligent vehicle using the Q-methodology. A Q-frame was constructed using thirty six statements from intelligent vehicle related literature concerning core technology, technology acceptance and personal consumption value, legal system and policy and social awareness. Q-sorting and in-depth interviews were conducted using thirty nine P-samples snowballed. Analysis produced four types of potential consumers for intelligent vehicle: Smart Car Consumer, Reasonable Consumer, Safety Car Consumer, and Smart Device Consumer. Smart Car Consumer value the vehicle capability of intelligent vehicle as most important while Reasonable Consumer focus upon the economics of intelligent vehicle. Safety Car Consumer recognize the safety of intelligent vehicle as most important while Smart Device Consumer highly value the IT functions provided by intelligent vehicles. Across these four different types of consumers, preventing injuries of intelligent vehicle drivers turned out to be the most common critical factor in assessing intelligent vehicle. Implications for the intelligent vehicle market is discussed at the end with further studies needed.

  • It is show that increasing of aged and handicapped people requires development of Ubiquitous computing technique to offer the specialized service for handicapped-people. For this, we need a development of Context Awareness and Service Reasoning Technique that the technique is supplied interaction between user and U-environment instead of the old unilateral relation. The old research of context awareness needed probabilistic presentation model like a Bayesian Network based on expert Systems for recognize given circumstance by a domain of uncertain real world. In this article, we define a domain of disorder activity assistant service application and context model based on ontology in diversified environment and minimized intervention of user and developer. By use this context model, we apply the structure learning of Bayesian Network and decide the service and activity to development of application service for handicapped people. Finally, we define the proper Conditional Probability Table of the structured Bayesian Network and if random situation is given to user, then present state variable of Activity and Service by given Causal relation of Bayesian Network based on Conditional Probability Table and it can be result of context awareness.

  • This empirical study is on the factors that influence college students'intention of using online communities by focusing on the social influence, online community identification and attitude toward using online community, and the perceived usefulness. The results of this study are as follows. First, the most popular online community site is Cyworld, and was found to provide additional services like cafes, blogs, facebook, etc. Second, the social influence in the proposed model has been classified as a subjective norm, perceived usefulness of social influence has been identified as a significant variable, and online community identification of subjective norm was significant. Third, the model configuration in a path relationship between the variables, the indirect effect of online community identification and perceived usefulness affect usage intention of online communities was larger than a direct effect. Therefore, in order to increase the usage intention of online communities, online community identification and perceived usefulness, as well as by attitude toward using online community need to be considered as ways to improve were identified.

  • The society we are living in has being changed to the age of the intelligent information society after passing through the knowledge-based information society in the early 21st century. In this study, we have developed the instructional model for software education based on the machine learning which is a field of artificial intelligence(AI) to enhance the core competencies of learners required in the intelligent information society. This model is focusing on enhancing the core competencies through the process of problem-solving as well as reducing the burden of learning about AI itself. The specific stages of the developed model are consisted of seven levels which are 'Problem Recognition and Analysis', 'Data Collection', 'Data Processing and Feature Extraction', 'ML Model Training and Evaluation', 'ML Programming', 'Application and Problem Solving', and 'Share and Feedback'. As a result of applying the developed model in this study, we were able to observe the positive response about learning from the students and parents. We hope that this research could suggest the future direction of not only the instructional design but also operation of software education program based on machine learning.

  • Artificial intelligence is at the heart of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Education must change in order to develop the capabilities necessary for future AI-based societies. This study developed and applied artificial intelligence experience classes using Teachable machine to elementary school students, and analyzed changes in artificial intelligence understanding and interest among students. Among the 10 artificial intelligence classes, 4 classes used various artificial intelligence education platforms, and 6 classes focused on Teachable machines. Before and after the application of the program, students' interest and understanding in artificial intelligence were examined. Quantitative and qualitative studies were conducted together. Studies have shown that both students' interest and understanding of artificial intelligence has improved since the application of the program. Furthermore, based on the findings, we propose a follow-up study for the development of artificial intelligence training programs.

  • In the Digital Transformation infrastructure at the addition to research on mental health such as depression and well-being, research on middle-aged health requires a study consisting of specific measures of cognitive health. This study used social, mental, and physical cognitive health as a sub-domain of cognitive health. The purpose of this study was to investigate the positive effects of volunteer activities on cognitive health for middle-aged women. The questionnaire survey was conducted on middle-aged women aged 40 to 59, focusing on the question "How well does cognitive health work for middle-aged women through volunteer activities?" The goal of this study is to examine the effect of volunteer activities on the cognitive health of middle-aged women and to analyze the meaning and influencing factors of volunteer activities needed to maintain the desirable life of middle-aged women and the healthy life of the elderly. The necessity to diversify and activate volunteer activities of middle-aged women was proved through the survey.

  • 4차 산업혁명이 언급되면서 3D 프린터, 로봇, 인공지능, 빅데이터 등 신기술이 발전하고 이는 사회 구조를 변화시킬 것으로 예상된다. 이에 새로운 디지털 기기, 기술들을 이해하는 디지털 리터러시가 중요해지고 있다. 2015 OECD PISA에서 ICT 배경조사 중 한국은 접근성, 활용성 부분과 2018 국가수준 디지털 리터러시 수준 측정연구, 학생들의 디지털 기기의 인식 여부 및 활용 여부 실태조사를 바탕으로 디지털 기기 활용 공간 구성 및 디지털 기기 활용 콘텐츠를 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 먼저 구체적 조작기인 초등학생임을 고려하여 디지털 기기 위주 프로그램으로 선정하였다. 디지털 기기 활용 공간은 기반 기기로 컴퓨터(노트북), 유 무선 인터넷, 디지털 기기로 3D 프린터 및 3D 프린팅 펜, 스마트폰 기반 VR기기, AR마커, 블록코딩 기반 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교구 등을 이용해서 구성하였다. 활용하는 콘텐츠는 학생들의 인식 여부 및 수준에 맞춰 체험 위주의 프로그램과 학습, 콘텐츠 제작, 문제해결 프로그램으로 제시하였다.
