A study on influence of pre-service early childhood teacher's achievement motivation and social intelligence on their social problem solving ability (예비유아교사의 성취동기와 사회지능이 사회문제해결력에 미치는 영향력 분석)

  • This study analyzed the relationship between the achievement motivation and social intelligence in pre-service early childhood teachers and their achievement motivation and social intelligence. The achievement motivation Inventory for pre-service early childhood teachers (Song, 2004), the social intelligence questionnaire (Han, 2011) and the Children's social problem solving ability scale (Huh, 1999) were administered to 193 pre-service early childhood teachers. The data underwent Pearson correlation analysis using the SPSS 21.0 program. The results of this study were as follows. First, there were significant positive relationships among the achievement motivation, social intelligence, and social problem solving ability. Second, the achievement motivation and social intelligence was an important factor for predicting the social problem solving ability of pre-service early childhood teachers.

  • This study explores the influence of social intelligence (SI) and emotional intelligence (EI) on employees' job engagement and organizational commitment in deluxe (five-star) hotels in Korea, and seeks to analyze the mediating effects of employees' job engagement on the relationship between SI, EI, and employees' commitment. The sample for the survey was collected from 419 F & B employees. The results of structural equation modeling show that employees' SI had a positive effect on job engagement and organizational commitment. EI also had a positive effect on job engagement but not on organizational commitment. In addition, the findings demonstrate that employees' job engagement mediated the effect of EI on organizational commitment. SI and EI are crucial requirements among hotel employees who depend on cooperation between colleagues.

Study on the Relationship Among Children's Theory of Mind, Social Competence, and Emotional Intelligence (유아의 마음이론, 사회적 능력, 그리고 정서 지능 간의 관련성 연구)

  • This study examined the relationship among children's theory of mind, social skills, and emotional intelligence. A total of 76 five-year old children in the Seoul area participated in this study. Children were tested on three different type of theory of mind tasks and teachers rated their children's emotional intelligence and social competency. SPSS 18, t-test, correlation analysis, and step-wise of multilateral regression were performed for data collection. The results were as follows: First, 40.8% of participants passed the task of theory of mind. There were significant differences in total score of theory of mind, social competence skills, and emotional intelligence between successors and failures. Second, by gender, there were significant differences in total score of theory of mind, social competence skills, and emotional intelligence. Third, there was a relationship between theory of mind and social competence skills, social competence skills and emotional intelligence, and theory of mind and emotional intelligence.

Differences of Young Children's Emotional Intelligence and Happiness according to the Socioeconomic Status of their Fathers (아버지의 사회.정서지능 및 행복감의 차이)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences of young children's emotional intelligence and happiness according to the socioeconomic status of their fathers. The subjects were 264 young children attending daycare centers and kindergartens in Busan, Korea. Data were analyzed with one-way MANOVA to find out the differences of young children's emotional intelligence and happiness according to education, income level or career of their fathers. Results of this study as follows: First, there were significant differences in emotional intelligence according to education, income level and career of their fathers. Second, there were significant differences in happiness according to education, income level and career of their fathers. Therefore, their father's socioeconomic status variables are the best variables in order to predict emotional intelligence and happiness of young children.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of opinion leader behavior on E-learning satisfaction on the mediating role of social intelligence. For the study, opinion leader behavior were defined two groups such as information mediated behavior, influence behavior and e-learning satisfaction were defined two groups such as contents satisfaction, operation satisfaction. On the basis of theoretical linkages between the constructs, a conceptual model and hypotheses were established. Data were collected from 153 graduated students by structured questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed by PLS(Partial Least Square) statistics program and findings are as follows. Empirical results indicate that opinion leader behavior has a positive impact on opinion leader's social intelligence, social intelligence has a positive impact on E-learning satisfaction. Opinion leader's social intelligence has partially mediated effect on the relationship between opinion leader behavior and E-learning satisfaction.

In this paper, through the investigations of Artificial Intelligence's concept and the way Artificial Intelligence's technology is implemented in modern industry, we studied positive effect and negative effect of AI. By this study, In conclusion, by realizing how close Artificial Intelligence had come to our life, we can prepare to seek a foothold to deal with this Artificial Intelligence.

  • The whole world is making a variety of efforts to cope with the revolutionary changes in the economy and society that are emerging from intelligent information technology. Therefore, this study defined national public officials' intelligence information competency in the intelligent information society, and tried to derive competency clusters and sub-elements. To achieve this objective, this study explores literature research about bloom's digital taxonomy, information competency, and national ICT policies and national public officials' intelligence information competency was defined based on bloom's digital taxonomy perspective was modified and supplemented with this study and provisional constituent elements of competency were derived. In addition, 5 experts verified the content validity. As a result, 7 competency clusters and 22 sub-elements are finally derived. The findings of this study are expected to be useful as the basis for the national intelligence information human resource development.

  • 홈랜드 시큐리티는 비군사적 위협으로부터의 국토안보를 의미하며, 정보보호, 물리보안, 무인경비, 산업 및 재해방지시스템 등을 연계하여 사이버 공격, 산업기술 유출 및 국제테러 등에 효과적으로 대응하는 IT 기반의 융 복합 분야를 통칭하고 있다. 홈랜드 시큐리티의 주요 영역은 여러 가지 분류가 가능할 수 있지만, 항공보안, 대량수송보안, 해양보안, 인프라보안, 사이버보안, 국경보안, 대테러 첩보, 비상대응 등으로 구분할 수 있다. 홈랜드 시큐리티의 영역중 사물지능통신이 제한적으로 활용되고 있으며 향후 활용이 확대될 것으로 예상되는 분야 중 하나는 스마트그리드를 포함한 사회기반시설 분야이다. 사회기반시설은 이미 사이버 보안위협에 노출되어 있으며, 향후 사물지능통신이 보편화되면 사회기반시설은 사이버공격의 핵심대상으로 더욱 부각될 것으로 예상된다. 본 고에서는 사회기반시설의 사물지능통신 현황 및 향후 전망을 살펴보고, 사회기반시설에 대한 사이버 보안위협 사례와 대응 현황에 대해서 소개한다.

  • As the core technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, AI is applied to various fields of society(e.g. politics, culture, industry, economy, etc.) and causes revolutionary changes. Students who will lead the age of AI need the ability to recognize social changes due to AI, acquire AI related knowledge and utilize AI in various situations. However, it is difficult for elementary school students to understand the concept and principles of AI. Therefore, this study developed an AI education program by selecting educational contents and methods appropriate to the level of elementary school students, and investigated the educational effects of the program by applying it to an actual educational setting. The content selected in this study is 'Social Awareness on AI', 'Understanding AI' and 'Utilizing AI', and eight content elements were selected. To help students learn AI easily and pleasantly at their level, activity-centered education, convergence of subjects and project-based learning were selected as instructional methods, and 20 sessions of education program were developed and implemented. In addition, the effects of the program were analyzed concerning 'perception on AI', 'convergent thinking', 'creative problem-solving' and 'collaboration capability', and positive changes were verified for all four aspects.
