  • The purpose of this study was to examine influences on grit in the nursing student. The data were collected from 146 nursing students in the H university located Y city. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, T-test, ANOVA, Scheffe, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression with SPSS 20.0 program. Grit was found to be in a significant positive correlation with academic stress, academic self-efficacy and major satisfaction. The result of the multiple regression indicates the major satisfaction, academic self-efficacy, academic stress and grade point average predict 22.5% of grit. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an intervention program to strengthen the grit of nursing students.

  • The purpose of this study is to contribute to evidence-based nursing care for patients with chronic conditions by understanding the attributes of the health motivation concept for their health-related behaviors. Fourteen academic journals and research papers on the health-related motivation of chronically ill patients were selected according to the conceptual analysis stages of Walker and Avant, and the concept was analyzed through additional literature review. The following three factors were extracted as the attributes of health motivation of chronically ill patients: first, psychological needs for healthy behavior; second, the multidimensional state considering personal characteristics; and third, emotional strengths that can change and induce behavioral changes. Given the antecedents, attributes, and outcomes analyzed in this study, it is anticipated that the evidence-based systematic management of chronically ill patients will be possible through the application of a nursing intervention program that increases health motivation

  • This study was systematic review to confirm the effects of the yoga on dysmenorrhea. Seven articles were extracted from the CINAHL, the Cochrane library, Embase, PsycINFO, PubMed, and Koreamed electronic databases. Menstrual pain intensity and duration, menstrual distress, QOL, anxiety, anger, and depression levels, homocysteine, TSH, FSH, LH, and prolactin levels were decreased significantly in the yoga group, compared with control group. These findings imply that yoga are a favorable intervention for dysmenorrhea.

  • The current study attempted to review the standards of retransmisison consent and arbitration for the terrestrial broadcasting signal. The standards are based upon the principles encouraged by the MIAC(Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications). It has been criticized that the standards of judgement for the retransimission consent and arbitration are ambiguous and arbitrary in Japan. In 2009, MIAC announced five decisions regarding the retransmission of over-the-air. The result of the current study found that the regulations of compulsory over-the-air signal retransmission have been sustained until now. The retransmission policy of the Japan government based upon three principles; localism, proper cause and copyright act. The judgment is dependent on the intrepretation of MIAC's standard about these three principles.

  • This study designed, developed and evaluated an application to improve the social skills of students with Autism Spectrum Disorders(ASD) based on the stage of the ADDIE model. The design stage aimed to factor in the characteristics and needs of students with ASD, and created guide maps and story boards accordingly. In the development stage, the application was made through a total of fourteen processes and four official tests. In the evaluation stage, heuristic usability evaluation was conducted on 10 teachers based on the their experience of using the application in the implementation stage. The results of the evaluation were all close to 'very good' in the areas of educational value, content implementation technology, content information and convenience. Finally, the application was fully developed after reflecting the corrections in accordance with the result of the usability evaluation. It is expected that this study have a role in invigorating the development of special educational software content.

  • Purpose: This study was to identify the educational effects of self directed learning applying basic nursing practice contents of e-learning on nursing students' knowledge, self-confidence, and learning satisfaction. Method: This study applied a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test control group design with 63 freshman nursing students (31 experimental group, 32 control group) of G. university in Incheon, Korea as subjects. The e-learning content was about the application of topical medications, central line care, and blood transfusion. All were available at the web site in school. Self-directed e-learning was more than 120 min.(3 times a week, 2 weeks)during Sep-Nov in 2011. In both groups, there were no significant difference in general characteristics, self-directed learning readiness, knowledge, and self-confidence for the pre-homogeneity. Results: The experimental group showed a higher level of improvement in knowledge and learning satisfaction but not significantly. However, the self-confidence was significantly improved in the experimental group. Conclusion: When self-directed learning using e-learning contents added to the conventional practical class, it may be beneficial for the nursing students to learn skills effectively.

  • In this paper, a smart education system is developed and implemented for ADHD students. Usually, ADHD students lack of self efficacy. Self efficacy is very important factor for improving social adaptability and learning effect of ADHD students. In the proposed system, MLE concept is adapted. MLE concept is used to improve self efficacy of ADHD students. The purpose of the proposed system is to help ADHD students have high study capability. The proposed system is applied an ADHD student. The following results are obtained. First, the system can improve study interests. In turn, the system is helpful to improve concentration and learning effect. Second, based on successful study experience, self efficacy is improved. Third, study achievement is improved by changing cognitive structure that is due to development of meta-cognition.

  • The talent trading platform is a platform that brokers transactions such as program coding, media content production (video, music, presentation materials, etc.), design, learning, and repair. Existing talent trading platforms provide a server-client model-based service, which incurs server operating costs and arbitration labor costs for transactions, which has a disadvantage that users bear high service fees. This paper proposes a method to reduce server and database operation costs by uploading transaction information to blocks through the system as a distributed app (dApp) based on the Ethereum platform. In addition, it proposes a method to lower transaction fees by reducing the labor cost of transaction arbitrators through smart contracts. Compare and analyze the cost processing procedure and transaction fee size of the blockchain-based talent trading platform and the existing talent trading platform.

  • Primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) has been found to be superior, in terms of hospital mortality and long-term outcome, compared with thrombolytic therapy in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). However, the clinical benefits of primary PCI have not been precisely evaluated in elderly patients.1,974 patients (Group I: n=1,018, $age{\geq}65years$, $73.8{\pm}5.99years$; Group II: n=956, age<65years, $52.8{\pm}7.96years$) who underwent primary PCI for AMI at Chonnam National University Hospital between 2006 and 2010 were analyzed according to their clinical, angiographic characteristics for hospital and one-year survival. Group I had a higher percentage of women, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, multi-vessel disease and lower prevalence of current smoking, hyperlipidemia, familial history than Group II. Culprit lesions were at the left anterior descending artery, left circumflex artery, right coronary artery and left main artery in 42.8% vs. 45.0%, 34.1% vs. 29.6%, 14.6% vs 14.6, 2.7% vs. 1.6%, respectively (p=0.007). Stent diameter was smaller in group I ($3.17{\pm}0.39$ vs. $3.29{\pm}0.42mm$, p=0.001). In-hospital mortality was higher in group I (8.4 vs. 1.9%, p<0.001). There were significant differences in the rates of major adverse cardiac events between the two groups during one-year clinical follow-up (20.1 vs.14.0%, p<0.001). On multiple logistic regression analysis, systolic blood pressure<100mmHg, serum $creatinine{\geq}1.3mg/dL$, Killip class> I, multivessel disease, left ventricular ejection fraction <40% and cerebro vascular disease were independent predictors of one-year motality in patients over 65 years after PCI.
