In this study, a design of emoticons based on sex was studied through Kansai engineering method. First, we developed emoticon prototypes according to a design guideline derived from existing related literatures. Then, the design guidelines was updated from the survey results on the properties of emoticon, and the two sets of modified emoticons were developed from them. Another survey was executed to evaluate the degree of emotional expressions on the three types of emoticons developed in this way. A small number of emoticons were found to be designed fulling the researcher's intention. However, in many other emoticons, it was difficult to find a consistent characteristics. Even though it was observed through detailed analysis that one of the main causes of this result was lack of detail in the design guidelines, the results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for the development and application of character - type emoticons suitable for male and female users' emotional expressions in future researches.

DNA computing is technology that applies immense parallel castle of living body molecules into information processing technology, and has used to solve NP-complete problems. However, there are problems which do not look for solutions and take much time when only DNA computing technology solves NP-complete problems. In this paper we proposed an algorithm called ACO(Algorithm for Code Optimization) that can efficiently express DNA sequence and create good codes through composition and separation processes as many as the numbers of reaction by DNA coding method. Also, we applied ACO to Hamiltonian path problem of NP-complete problems. As a result, ACO could express DNA codes of variable lengths more efficiently than Adleman's DNA computing algorithm could. In addition, compared to Adleman's DNA computing algorithm, ACO could reduce search time and biological error rate by 50% and could search for accurate paths in a short time.

In recent years, some of the brands of cosmetics in Korea have launched the BB Cream only for man. Cosmetics is not only necessary for woman and it has been accepted by the male. A programme hosted by 김기수 is aimed to teach the female how to make up. As a result, the comprehension of the gender and the development of the times have been combined closely. The understanding of gender has been developed from binary opposition to the diversity of gender. The movements that were aimed at advocating feminism caused by some events reminded us of that we should pay attention to the equalization of the gender. We can see that people want to liberate themselves from the sexual stereotype through these social phenomenons. Meanwhile, animation advertising has also experienced a transformation, which is from that to shape a role under sexual stereotype to that to pay more attention to the diversity of gender during the progress of shaping a role. During the initial stage of the animation advertising's prosperity, what it described was based on the male. The male was the permanent theme. On the contrary, the female only played a subordinate role. However, with the development of feminism, to realize self-worth of the female and to fight for the gender equality have been mentioned more and more frequently. All these factors have prompted the animation advertising to break the stereotype when shaping a new role and change the sexual stereotype in order to create new animation figures.

기존의 다양한 무선 인터넷 플랫폼이 WIPI라는 무선 인터넷 플랫폼으로 통합되면서 플랫폼 간의 호환성과 이식성을 제공하여 다양하고 풍부한 컨텐츠들이 개발되고 있다. 인터넷 상의 콘텐츠 표현의 주요 표기 언어인 XML을 파싱하고 뷰잉 하기 위한 XML 처리기 역시 이제, 각종 모바일 단말에 내장되어야 할 필수적인 소프트웨어 중의 하나가 되었다. 본 논문에서는 WIPI 기반의 모바일 단맡로의 내장을 위한 효율적 XML 처리기가 설계 구현된다. XML 처리기는 HTTP를 기반으로 하여 서버와 XML 데이터를 교환할 수 있으며, 모바일 단말에 적합하도록 CPU 부하를 덜어주고, 메모리 사용량을 줄이면서, 크기가 작은 Pull 모드 XML 파서를 핵심 컴포넌트로 가지고 있다. 또한, XML 처리기를 사용하여 인터넷을 통해 XML 문서를 전승 받아, 모바일 단말에서 볼 수 있는 간단한 전자책을 개발하였다.

수문모형은 많은 물리적, 식생적, 기후적, 인위적 요소들의 결과로 기인하는 수문학적 특성을 나타내는 유역의 복잡한 시스템을 현실적으로 표현하는 도구로써 인식되어 왔다. 공간적으로 분포된 수문모형들은 1960년대 처음으로 개발되었으며, 수문학과 수자원관리 분야에서 원격탐사데이터와 지리정보시스템의 그 역할은 급속도록 증가하였다. 비록 원격탐사자료가 수문학분야에 실제 적용된 경우는 매우 적지만, 그 효용성은 크다고 할 수 있다. 수문 모델링과 모니터링분야에서 원격탐사 자료를 이용함에 있어 가장 큰 장점 중의 하나는 시공간적인 정보를 지속적으로 생산할 수 있게 되었다는 점이다. 이와 같은 능력은 성공적인 모형의 분석과 예측, 검증을 위한 작업에 필수적이다. 본 연구는 준 분포형 수문학적 모형인 SLURP 모형을 경안천 유역을 대상으로 적용하였으며, MODIS 위성영상을 이용하여 제작한 엽면적지수(LAI), 정규식생지수(NDVI)를 수문모형의 입력자료로 활용하여 경안 수위표 지점에서 일 유출량 모의를 실시하였다. 또한, 각각의 원격탐사 자료가 모의된 증발산량의 민감도에 어떤 영향을 미치는 가를 분석하였다.

The analysis of theory and research the five elements art and people who find the nature of the systematic correlation to the future of animation, chracter design is applied.

한국과학기술원 인간친화복지로봇 연구센터에서 개발 중인 ISH(Intelligent Sweet Home)는 다양한 서비스 로봇 및 인간-기계 인터페이스(HMI:Human-Machine Interface)를 통해서 노약자 및 장애인의 일상 생활을 도와 줄 수 있는 지능형 주거 공간이다. ISH에서는 홈네트워크를 통해 연결된 가전 기기 및 환경 정보 취득이 가능한 센서 장비, 그리고 지능형 침대, 휠체어, 이동 보조 로봇 등이 거주자가 독립 생활을 영위할 수 있도록 여러 가지 서비스를 제공한다. 하지만 노약자 및 장애인의 관점에서 서비스 양의 증가뿐만 아니라, 이를 쉽고 편하게 운용할 수 있는 서비스 질의 측면 또한 중요하게 고려하여야 한다. 이러한 이유 때문에, ISH에서는 집사 로봇(steward robot)의 개념을 도입하여 거주자와 복잡한 시스템의 효율적인 매개체로 사용하고 있다. 사용자의 편의를 추구하기 위한 공학적인 접근방법 중의 하나로, 본 논문에서는 집사 로봇의 작업 계획 기능에 대해서 설명하도록 한다. 작업 계획 시스템을 이용하여, 집사 로봇은 사용자의 상위 레벨 명령을 해석하여 각 로봇 또는 제어 가능 개체들을 제어하게 된다. 제안하는 시스템은 STRIPS(STanford Research Institute Problem Solver) 상태 표현 방법과 그래프계획(Graphplan) 방법에 기반하여 작업 계획을 수행한다. 또한 작업 계획 속도를 증가 시키기 위하여 공간 추상화(world abstraction)와 하위 목표 계획(subgoal planning)의 개념을 적용하였다. 그리고 ISH에서 정의된 시나리오를 이용한 상위 레벨 명령을 통해 제안된 시스템의 효용성을 검증하도록 한다.

Spatial relationships among objects are one of the important ingredients for expressing constraints of an image in image or multimedia retrieval systems. In this paper, we propose a unified image retrieval scheme using spatial relationships among objects and their features. The proposed scheme is especially effective in computing similarity between query image and images in the database. Also, objects and their spatial relationships are captured and annotated in XML. It could give better precision and flexibility in retrieving images from database. Finally, we have implemented a prototype system for retrieving images based on proposed technique and showed some of the experiment results.

20세기 후반을 거치며 환경 관련 이슈는 조경 이론과 설계에서도 중심 주제로 자리잡아 왔다. 환경에 대한 고려를 중심에 둔 이른바 생태적 조경계획 설계는 조경의 패러다임에 일대 전환을 가져오고 조경의 대사회적 역할을 교정했다는 평가를 받고 있다. 그러나 이러한 흐름은 동시대 조경 이론과 설계의 가장 첨예한 쟁점 중의 하나인 생태학과 예술 사이의 이분법을 심화시켰다는 비판에 직면하고 있는 것 또한 사실이다. 즉 생태적 조경은 환경적 가치 대형태 구축, 부지의 생태적 분석 대 창조적 표현이라는 이원론적 갈등 관계를 형성해 온 것이다. 이 논문은 이러한 양상의 생태-예술 이원론을 해체하고 대안적 조경의 지평을 구축하는 일이 현대 조경설계가 풀어야 할 최우선의 과제라고 파악한다. 이 논문은 특히 최근의 조경설계에서 실험되고 있는 경험의 구축, 변화와 프로세스의 고려, 일시성과 불확정성을 존중하는 태도 등을 통해 생태-예술 이원론을 해체할 수 있는 실천적 전략을 모색한다. 뿐만 아니라 그러한 전략에서 드러나는 대안적 조경미학이 최근의 환경미학과 공유하고 있는 이론적 지형을 검토함으로써 생태학과 예술의 접점을 가로지르는 조경설계의 새로운 좌표를 탐색한다.

The aims of this research are to analyze the representations and conceptual sequence of eye vision in Korean science textbooks and to suggest a contents construct about eye vision where the conceptual sequence is considered. Research method was literature review, and the literatures that were used for analysis were the 7th Korean science curriculum which was revised in 1997, and the science and physics textbooks developed based on the 7th Korean science curriculum. The research results are as follows: 1) Although the science curriculum seems to have no problem on sequence in the eye vision concepts, the science and physics textbooks based on the curriculum reveal problems on the sequence in the eye vision concepts; 2) Some Korean science textbooks explain retinal image formation according to the Alhazen's idea, except in inverse image; 3) Some Korean science textbooks explain about the reasons of near- and far-sightedness without consistency between the textbooks for 7th and 8th grade students; 4) A few Korean science textbooks give an inappropriate explanation about the principle of eye sight correction by eye glasses; 5) According to the analysis result, the concepts related to eye vision should be presented in the order of explanation about light refraction phenomena, image formation process by convex lens, structure of human eye and retinal image formation process, correction of eye sight using lens.
