A Study on the Evaluation of Service Quality and Importance-Performance Analysis in Research Libraries (전문도서관의 서비스품질 측정과 중요도-성과분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine users' perceived importance for service attributes and performance in research libraries, and further to suggest the improvement strategies for research libraries. The survey was conducted for the library users of 14 government-funded research institutes. The questionnaire for this research was developed from the standard LibQUAL+. Statistical analyses were conducted to identify the relationship between service quality and users' satisfaction, and the gap between perceived importance and performance by user groups. According to the result of statistical analyses, the priority of service improvement strategies of research libraries were suggested.

The Development of Performance Indicators for the Institution of Information Transfer Based on BSC and the Analysis of Their Importance (BSC를 이용한 학술정보 유통기관의 성과지표 개발 및 중요도 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to focus on developing the performance indicators for the distribution of scholarly information based on BSC and to analyze the importance of the performance indicators against the specialists. From the case studies on performance indicators both at home and abroad four viewpoints(information resource, information service, user, and economy) were derived. In addition. the core success factors(CSF) and key performance indicators(KPI) were extracted from the viewpoints. Four viewpoints are composed of 12 CSF items and 31 KPI items. In order to analyze the weight of the performance indicators. questions were thrown to the specialists in universities and research institutes. For the method of analysis, analytic hierarchy process(AHP) was adopted. As a result, the analysis showed that the user viewpoint, information service viewpoint, information resource viewpoint and economic viewpoint are in the order of their importance.

  • 실시간 교통신호 제어시스템은 검지기 체계로부터 교통소통자료를 수집하고, 이를 중앙시스템에서 실시간으로 분석, 처리하여 신호시간을 신호주기별로 산출하는 시스템이다. 신호제어시스템의 운영성과는 시스템의 신호제어기능 또는 제어 알고리즘을 활용할 수 있는 신호제어전략의 효율성 여부에 의하여 크게 좌우된다. 본 연구에서는 신신호 시스템의 기본 제어알고리즘과 개선된 신호제어 알고리즘을 개관하고, 신신호시스템의 운영성과를 현장자료를 토대로 분석하였다. 신신호 시스템의 운영성과는 시스템의 제어기능과 알고리즘을 토대로 비 중요교차로의 패턴 Table을 조정하여 신호제어전략을 수립하고, 이의 적용성을 분석하는 과정을 통하여 분석되었다. 운영성과는 시범지역의 남북 교통축(영동대로)과 동서 교통축(도곡동길)을 대상으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 영동대로는 비 중요 교차로의 패턴 Table을 조정함에 따라 시스템 운영성과가 현저하게 개선되는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 도곡동길은 현재의 신호운영 전략과 검토대안이 비슷한 수준의 운영성과를 도출하는 것으로 분석되었다. 시범 운영지역의 교통축은 1개의 중요 교차로와 5-6개의 비 중요 교차로로 구성된다. 영동대로의 운영성과 분석결과, 교통축의 운영효과는 중요교차로의 교통대응 제어기능과 동시에 비 중요 교차로의 패턴 제어기능이 적절하게 연계 운영될 때 운영효율성을 높일 수 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서 향후 신호운영의 효율성을 높이기 위해서는 중요교차로의 교통대응 제어기능의 개선과 동시에 비중요교차로의 패턴 Table의 개선이 필수적인 것으로 판단된다.

  • This study has proposed the balanced scorecard for the development of BSC of school library; this study has thus analyzed the forerunners of similar research on the balanced scorecard. For the hierarchial process analysis of the balanced scorecard, librarians and experts of related fields were polled using the AHP method. Some of the major categories for the balanced scorecard(36 categories total) are disposition of librarians, development of user-demand reflecting system, user education, adequacy of faculty-education aid accommodation, location of library, etc.

  • 일반적 통계분석 중 요인분석은 서로 상관있는 변수들만을 그룹화하고, 상관도가 낮은 요인은 또 다른 그룹으로 묶는 결과를 도출한다. 그러나 요인분석은 요인의 분류 외에는 주요 정보를 제공하지 못한다. 호텔기업의 CRM 운용성과 분석을 위해서도 요인의 중요도 분석이 중요하다. 따라서 AHP 분석기법을 연계하여 호텔기업의 CRM 운용 성과를 측정하기 위한 요인 분석 방법에 대해 고찰하였다.

  • The goal of this paper is to set up the order list of performance measurement factors according to the its weights. For this purpose the AHP method were implied. The research of this paper is carried out in two steps. At first step, the performance measurement factors are crystallized through review of the korean and foreign researches. In second step, the weights and order list of critical success factors of Hospital Information System were complete. The AHP method were performed in second step. The order list of all CSFs will be determined according to their weights and priorities. This order list shows which factors have the most useful influence on the performance of HIS. This result could play the role as milestone for the effective management of Hospital Information System in Korea.

  • 치열한 경쟁사회에서 고객 만족도를 높이기 위해서 고객관계관리(CRM: Customer Relationship Management)개념이 대두되고 있으며, CRM의 효과적인 수행을 위해서는 기업이 행하고 있는 고객서비스에 대한 정확한 평가가 중요하다. 여러 지표를 모두 고려하는 전략을 세우는 것은 현실적으로 불가능 하기 때문에 지표간의 개선 우선순위와 개선 폭, 개선방향을 결정할 수 있는 정보가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 고객서비스를 평가하는 경우, 고객이 각 서비스 품질지표에 대해 느끼고 있는 중요도와 현황 및 속성에 대해 종합적인 분석을 위해 수정된 Kano 모델에 근거한 중요도-성과분석 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 응답의 모호성으로 인한 문제점을 최소화하고자 퍼지기법을 이용하였다. 방법론의 검증을 위해서 K사의 이동통신 서비스에 대해 20대의 남녀 대학생 27명을 대상으로 사례연구를 실시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to research hotel restaurant's servicescapes using Important-performance analysis. IPA is one of the simple and efficient method that can enhance service quality and customer satisfaction. Using this method for hotel restaurant's servicescapes and adopting social exchange theory to find out difference between person who paying and who does not. The results shows difference in 'Possible Overkill' quadrant, which is only group that does not pay include contents No.2, 8. The relation between servicscapes and behavior intention shows only tangible environment factor has positive effect.

Application of the Balanced Scorecard for the Performance Measurement in Health-care Organization (의료기관에서의 Balanced Scorecard를 이용한 성과측정)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a performance measurement factor of Balanced Scorecard(BSC) for health-care organization. We did also the research to evaluate the validity and reliability of these indicators. Fifty six health-care organizations are participated in a survey questionnaires. This questionnaires consists of 53-questions, which are the performance evaluation indicators designed by researcher, which are based on the Norton and Kaplan's BSC-Framework. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was carried out and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was applied to analyze the weight and significances of each factor. Factor analysis of the BSC resulted in 11 major measurement factors (Eigenvalue >1.0). The AHP analysis showed the list of the hospital BSC measurement factors and its KPI(Key Performance Indicator) weighted by its significance priorities. The recommendable degree of reliability and validity of these BSC factors suggests that these factors are adequate for performance measurements of the health-care organizations in Korea.

  • This research outlined the factors influencing the business management success via analyzing a survey of business principles. The research process has been tested in comparison of both financial factors, which come out of objective data and non-financial factors so relevantly prioritized by combining these factors. In order to specify the factors, a check-list and analyzed essential features of category have done with interviews and surveys. As consequently proceeding, the authors could deduce that non-financial but analytic factors such as business doable, technician workability, compensation and benefits etc. play major roles in construction sector. The outcomes consider a construction business as fundamental human labor job as opposed to a manufacture business. On reasoning necessarily more objective research works to be done as developing this research's outcome, it is meaningful in suggesting the pivotal factors influencing the construction business management. Therefore, this research is expected to guide the direction to induce the improvement of business management to be done by further exemplary researches.
