The Market Performances and Business Cultural Environment of Korean Enterprises at Central and South America (한국 기업의 중남미 시장 진출 실태와 통상 문화 환경에 관한 연구)

  • This study is aimed to analyse the performances and market positions of Korean products at the Central and South America where recently come into the spotlight for the emerging markets with FTA. The main problems were not the communication or geographical distance but the faint Central and South American specific support of the government and indifferent market approaching concepts. New cultural merchandising approach, Korean enterprise can maintain the competitive advantage against with chinese low products which is main opponent in this market. In order to achieve the close cultural approach, Korean enterprise should use the 'elite groups' in the Central and South america whom are multi cultural leaders in there and also needs to use the Korean CQO merchandisers in the Central and South America. And the new FTA with rest of countries in the Central and South America more aggressively will be the inmost objet of maintaining competitive advantage and we could change the concept of the this market from 'big indifferent market' to 'strategic market' as a hopeful market for achieve the diversification of export.

경제 위기와 주식시장 동조화 현상에 관한 연구

  • 본 논문은 경제적인 위기에 기인한 세계 주식시장의 동조화 현상에 대하여 1993년 말에 발생한 멕시코 외환 위기를 전후(前後)로 북미 대륙의 주식시장과 뉴욕 증시에서 거래되는 중남미 국가펀드 가격들의 동반 움직임(Co-movements)현상을 예(例)로 들어 분석해 보았다. 본 논문은 이전의 실증 연구들과 몇 가지 점에서 일치되는 점을 발견하였다. 첫째, 미국 시장에서 거래되는 중남미 국가펀드의 가격들은 페소위기 이후 더욱 동반 움직임 현상을 나타내었다. 둘째, 중남미 국가펀드는 그들이 거래되는 미국 시장의 움직임에 상당한 영향을 받고 있다. 셋째, 페소위기 이후 북미 대륙의 주식시장간 또는 중남미 국가펀드간의 움직임에 있어서 상관관계가 증가하였다. 결과적으로 자본 이동의 자유화에 따른 자본시장의 점진적인 통합은 국진적으로 발생한 경제 위기를 빠른 시간에 비슷한 위험 요소에 노출되어 있는 다른 지역으로 파급시킨다는 사실이 다시 한 번 입증되었다.

Trends of Import and Export by Each Continent in Korea and Plans to Increase Exports (한국의 각 대륙별 수출입 동향과 수출 증대방안)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the trends of import and export of Korea by each continent and to find ways to increase export to Korea in the future. Each continent selected Asia, Europe, North America, Central and South America, and the Middle East. The analysis period was 220 months from January 2000 to April 2018, and data were collected from the KCS. Regression analysis showed that the coefficient was higher in Asia, Europe, North America, Middle East and Latin America. The markets of each continent moved independently of each other and were statistically significant at t statistic and p-value(${\leq}0.01$). As a result of this study, Asia and North America have been major export markets in Korea. Europe, the Middle East and Central and South America are emerging as new markets in Korea. In order to increase Korea's exports in the future, there is a need for continued interest in Asian markets including China & Southeast Asia.

  • 멕시코는 잠재적 시장성과 아메리카 대륙의 교두보로서의 중요성에 비해 우리에게는 그리 잘 알려지지 않은 시장이다. 몇몇 대기업과 섬유·화학 중소기업이 직접투자 형태로 진출해 있을 뿐 중소기업들 대부분은 초기단계에 머물고 있다. 멕시코 시장의 잠재력과 가능성을 소개함으로써 기술력 있는 중소·벤처기업들의 멕시코 진출이 늘어나는 계기가 되었으면 한다.
