  • 무전해 도금은 금속이온을 수용액 상태에서 석출시키는 방법으로서 전기를 사용하지 않고 환원제의 자기촉매 방법에 의해 금속을 도금하는 방법이다. 두께를 확보하기 위한 화학적 무전해 도금에서는 환원제를 사용하지만 선택적 도금에서는 환원제를 사용하지 않는 치환도금법이 주로 사용되고 있다. 최근 전자파 차폐, 포장기술의 응용이 확대되면서 정보 통신 스마트폰, 전자기술과 자동차 산업에 많은 고분자 복합도금이 널리 확대되고 있다. 최근 해외에서도 고분자와 비금속재료의 복합도금 기술이 관심을 끌고 있다. 2013년 중국의 J. B. Fei 등은 Ag나노체인 합성물에 필요한 비대칭형의 공유결합으로써 나선형의 자기배열 $AgNO_3$와 멜라민 특성을 보고하였다. 무전해 니켈 복합도금은 내마모성, 내식성과 비금속재료의 선택적인 첨가로 다양한 고분자 첨가물을 적용할 수 있다. 유전상수가 낮고 열적 안정성이 우수하여 노트북 컴퓨터나 스마트폰 표면에 니켈-폴리이미드 복합도금도 개발되고 있다.

A Study on the Development of a Marine Industrial Cluster in Seosan-Daesan Port (서산 대산항 해양산업 클러스터 추진방안에 관한 연구)

  • The Seosan-Daesan Port is closest to the major ports of China; hence, it is recognized as the ideal port for trade with China. Well-developed industrial infrastructure in its hinterland, including petrochemical, automotive, and electronic component complexes and recent developments of port facilities that aim to strengthen its function as a commercial port clearly highlight the necessity to develop it as a comprehensive port by building a marine industrial cluster. In this study, prerequisites for marine industrial cluster development in Seosan-Daesan Port are identified; they include the following. First, the conditions to be met for being designated a marine industrial cluster should be amended; Second, the central government should delegate authority to local governments to ensure the development of marine industries; Third, changes related to marine industrial cluster development in the governance structure of local governments (Seosan City and Chungnam Province) are required; and Last, a consultative body should be established to facilitate discussions on developing a marine industrial cluster in Seosan-Daesan Port and build public consensus.

  • 수송용 산업의 하나인 국내 조선업계는 2008년 말 이후 세계 조선경기 불황 속에서도 2009년 451억달러, 2010년 491억달러의 사상최대 수출액을 달성한 바가 있고 세계 조선사 순위에서는 1위에서 5위까지 한국 조선소 등이 우위를 차지하고 있다. 그러나 개별 기업 경쟁력은 우위에 서있지만 중국과의 격차가 많이 좁혀지고 있어 안심할 수 없는 상황이다. 특히 최근에는 탄소배출량이 적은 친환경 선박의 제조가 선박업계 전반의 화두로 대두되고 있다. 이를 위해 다양한 시도가 시도되고 있는데 그중에 하나가 선박의 경량화이다. 금속외장 전선은 선박 무게의 10~13%를 차지하고 있고 전체 사용 전선의 30~40%를 차지하고 있어 선박에서의 금속외장 전선의 무게를 줄이기 위한 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 또한 조선산업 뿐만 아니라 자동차 분야에서도 금속 외장전선이 많이 사용되고 있으며, 자동차의 연비 향상을 위한 경량화 연구가 더욱 절실한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 수송용으로 사용되는 전선의 금속외장을 경량 고강도 섬유를 활용한 하이브리드 wire로 대체하기 위한 편조 기술 및 편조 장치를 개발하기 위한 설계 및 기초연구를 수행하였다. 초경량 고강도 섬유 Armor의 제조기술 및 최적 공정 개발을 위한 연구로서 경쟁사 샘플에 대한 분석을 실시하였고, 사용된 섬유의 성분 분석 및 물성시험을 수행하였다. 또한 원형직기 개발을 위한 구조부 설계를 위해 ANSYS해석을 수행하고 저신율 고강도인 아라미드의 이징모션 시스템 개발을 위한 연구를 수행하였으며 개구 형성방법을 설계하였다. 그리고 초경량 고강도 hybrid 케이블 아라미드 편조 표면 및 내부 가교에 의한 가공 기술을 연구하였다. 아라미드 섬유의 발수성 향상을 위한 코팅재료 선정을 위한 연구를 수행하였고, 자외선 경화공정에서 조건별 데이터를 정립하여 솔루션을 제공하고자 한다.

  • The automotive supply chain is increasingly complex as automakers seek more profitable solutions with global out-sourcing and manufacturing strategies. In the automotive industry, using returnable plastic containers (RPCs) is very common for domestic operations, but for internationally, it has not been considered by many companies because of issues such as overall distance and difficulty of control. The results of this simulation can help to analyze the interactive and coherent behavior of packaging and supply chain systems. The data obtained from the model can be applied to make substantial decisions for choosing the most profitable packaging types, at the same time as it can lead to designing an optimum supply chain for RPCs used in international supply chains.

  • Since 2009, China has become biggest automobile supplier and consumer all over the world. Chinese government and automobile firms have been executed strategic and aggressive industry policy and business strategy for nurturing automobile industry as a core manufacturing industry. However, can we assure that all of these policy and strategy have positive effect on Chinese automobile industry? For fulfilling this gab, our research examined the government policy and firm's strategy in different development stage of Chinese automobile industry. According to research result, at initial stage(1983-1996), Chinese automobile industry has grown by technological learning and reverse engineering from Soviet Union, Japan and Germany. In rapid growing stage(1996-2009), Chinese automobile firms have succeed to develop and produce own brand product with 100% own technology. And this kind of quantum jump in technology development was conducted by joint venture policy and M&A strategy. However, at the fourth stage(2010-), Chinese government and firms have over invested and focused on Electric Vehicle manufacturing without developing core technology or SW. Overall, the old-fashioned policy and strategy module in manufacturing industry of China could have negative effect on its industry development.

  • This paper is analyzing the SoC policy of major nations as the U.S, Japan, Europe, Taiwan, China and draw the suggestions for the development of semiconductor industry in Korea. SoC is the non-memory semiconductor to support and put into action the function of system. SoC is big market over the 200billion dollars and have a huge potential for new IT convergence market. Developed countries as the US, Japan, and Europe have enforced the industrial competitiveness by company investment and Taiwan supported the SoC Industry by government fund. Korea is No.1 superpower in DRAM semiconductor, but very weak in SoC Industry. We should secure the competitiveness of SoC Industry by the development of core technology, planning the growth policy, and building the cooperative model to leap the SoC power nation.

  • This study aims to propose a methodology for future strategies of the Korean petrochemical industry. Instead of using static models or trade related statistical analysis, we derived emerging issues of the Korean petrochemical industry through survey in accordance with the STEPPER analysis. The participants of the survey were limited to leading experts of the field, such as businessmen, researchers and professors. Also, I observed whether the current driving forces are suitable in analyzing the future. Furthermore, emerging trends and emerging issues as far as 2040 were also extracted through horizon scanning and expert interviews. Through this study, three factors, which are the global oil prices, economic prospects, and core material development, have been confirmed. In the future, I believe that not only petrochemical industry, but also other industries such as steel, autos, shipbuilding and so on, can be studied for future scenarios and strategies as well.

  • Car exhaust $CO_2$ gas reduction and fuel efficiency of the car lighter for the current era is a big challenge. The developments of high-performance Nd magnets, Li-ion secondary battery and exhaust gas purification performance of PGM catalysts used in the lightweight EV and HEV are activated. Country in order to improve the car lighter and function that use the resources of rare metals are ubiquitous imported from China because of export supply control, as soaring prices have unstable supply and demand. Compared to the emissions from the next-generation automotive recycling, waste scarce resources need to be. This study investigated the recycling technology analysis and development of the information technology, or delivered to the researchers by giving national car industry aims to contribute to the development. Findings, pulmonary high-performance motor vehicle emissions in the exhaust gas purification PGM Catalysts, Li-ion battery and Nd magnets recycling technology, such as pre- and post-processing techniques to classify technology, pre-urban mining technology mechanical separation by screening techniques under development, the study and post-processing technology has, pyro and hydro metallurgical smelting technology is established. Waste Recycling in terms of economic efficiency of mechanical components for the intensive study of screening techniques is needed.

  • AI is applied increasingly to overall industries such as living, medical, financial service, autonomous car, etc. thanks to rapid technology development. AI-leading countries are strengthening their competency to secure competitiveness since AI is positioned as the core technology in $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution. Although Korea has the competitive IT infra and human resources, it lags behind traditional AI-leaders like United States, Canada, Japan and, even China which devotes all its might to develop intelligent technology-intentive industry. AI is the critical technology influencing on the national industry in the near future according to advancement of intelligent information society so that concentration of capability is required with national interest. Also, joint development with global AI-leading companies as well as development of own technology are crucial to prevent technology subordination. Additionally, regulatory reform and preparation of related law are very urgent.

  • Remanufacturing is a series of industrial process by which retired or non-functional products are restored to a like-new condition. The remanufacturing industry provides much more economical and environmental benefits in view of significant materials and energy savings than existing material recycling way. It also has an effect on the substitute of natural resources, and gives the opportunity of high employment creation due to its highly labor intensive work. This paper thus presents the features of remanufacturing and its various benefits, and current status of domestic and overseas remanufacturing industry including USA, Europe, Japan and China. Furthermore, three major tasks for promoting the remanufacturing industry in Korea have been proposed based on the analysis of remanufacturing activities, technologies and related system in advanced countries.
