지금까지의 무선 통신에서는 Socket 방식이 주류를 이루고 있다 하지만, Socket 통신을 사용하면 확장이 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근 이슈가 되는 웹서비스 기법을 통해 PDA와 서버를 연결함으로써 다양한 장치들을 수용하여 확장하는데 유연하게 대처할 수 있도록 한다. 예를 들어, 기존의 Socket 방식을 사용하였을 때는 클라이언트 프로그램을 확장할 때 미리 정의 된 Socket 코드와 서버에서 요구하는 데이터 형식을 분석하여 이를 실제로 클라이언트에서 개발해야 하기 때문에 새롭게 개발하는 수준의 코딩이 필요하다. 그러나 웹서비스 기법을 사용하면 서버 주소만 알면 WSDL를 통해 Local method를 쓰는 것과 동일하게 사용할 수 있으므로 확장성이 뛰어나다. 웹서비스 방식은 클라이인트와 서버에 서로 다른 언어를 사용할 때 특히 장점을 가지며, 실제 본 시스템에서도 서버는 Java, Mobile Client는 Visual Basic.Net으로 서로 다른 언어를 이용하여 개발되었다.

For the auto-configuration of diverse hosts and automation of network management as many electronic machines and industrial components are becoming connected to Internet, it is possible to use autoconfiguration using DHCP and network management protocol such as SNMP, CMIP. But these technologies are not developed maturely and lack various standardizations yet because these are designed for restrictive purposes in the past. The new working group "Zeroconf" is made in IETF at March, 2000, it is aimed for making standards of autoconfiguration which is applied to impromptu ad-hoc networks in automobiles, trains, planes and home network or mobile networks. In this paper, we introduce the IPv6 based autoconfiguration technologies such as IP interface configuration, translation between host name and IP address, IP multicast address allocation and service discovery. Finally, trends of standardization in Zeroconf working group will be shown. be shown.

Collecting and managing the sensor information through the Internet is critical to effectively manage and utilize the sensor information. The interworking technique of the sensor network and internet is required to realize the desirable condition for managing and utilizing the sensor information. Among many interworking techniques, the translation technique using the gateway had been widely studied. However, the technique which mounts IP-based Internet protocols directly on the sensor node is getting more attention recently. Particularly, IPv6 is suitable for the communication protocol for the sensor network, because its features, such as abundant address space or address auto-configuration, are well matched with the sensor network. In this paper, we design the tiny UDP/IPv6 protocol functions which are suitable for the sensor network environment, and we implemented the functions with TinyOS based nesC. After we examined the simulation results of by using TOSSIM and TinyViz, we carried out the experimental performance evaluation for the program by mounting the tiny UDP/IPv6 on the sensor node (Mote).

The movement of the MR loaded on the train is confined to the bidirectional movement along the rail. Therefore, the AR connected to the MR can use the address information of the neighboring ARs and configure CoA in advance before performing L2 and L3 handoff. The MR can acquire new CoA immediately from the present AR after the movement detection procedure. The performance analysis shows that the proposed scheme can provide CoA to the MR about 1.8(s) at minimum and 4.98(s) at maximum faster than the Stateless scheme because the proposed scheme does not carry out any additional CoA and DAD procedure unlike the Stateless scheme.

국내 신약 1호를 기다리며, 현재 우리나라의 임상시험 현 주소와 앞으로 나아가야 할 방향에 관하여 한번쯤 검토하고, 어떻게 임상시험의 수준을 선진국 수준으로 끌어올릴 수 있는지 검토할 필요가 있다. 졔약 산업은 요즘 한창 주가를 높이고 있는 정보 통신 분야 만큼이나 고부가가치 산업이다. 때문에 정부의 주도하에 제약 기업 부설연구소 및 정부출연구소에서 의약품 개발과 관련한 연구 수행 과제 중 신약 개발 연구과제가 약 200여 가지나 되며, 이중 임상시험 단계가 10과제로 현재 임상시험이 진행되고 있다. 따라서 머지않아 이러한 노력에 대한 결실을 기대할 수 있을 것이다. 특히, 신약 개발은 인류의 건강, 복지와 밀접한 관련을 맺고 있으며, 기초 학문과 응용 분야의 접목이 필수적인 분야이다. 그러나, 하나의 신약을 개발하기 위해서는 평균 12년이라는 긴 세월의 개발 기간과 약 1,800억이라는 천문학적인 비용이 소요되기 때문에 쉽게 투자하지 못하는 산업이기도 하다. 때문에 잠시 한 걸음 옆에서 첨단 산업 분야로 신약 개발을 계속 추진하여야 할지 고민할 필요가 있다. 우리에게 이러한 자본, 인력, 시간이 충분치 않기 때문이다. 아마도 선진국으로 진입하기 위한 커다란 관문일지도 모른다. 하지만 포기할 수 없는 산업이기 때문에 어떻게 하면 우리의 목적을 달성할 수 있는지 그 방안을 모색하는 것이 현 상황에 대한 올바른 판단일 것이다.

Power-saving PC software enables the inexpensive power control, but the installation of the power-saving software in all computers in the organization is not an easy task. Computer users in the organization are usually not cooperative as they do not think the power-saving cost is directly related to themselves. The PC power-saving system provides advantage to driving active participation in which users installs the power saving software by restricting IP address through the power management server. However, the problem with this approach is the security vulnerability to IP spoofing attacks, therefore we need to solve the problem that disrupt the entire network system rather than saving electric power. This paper proposes the security authentication system that can implement the efficiency saving power by providing high security for the members' computer system of the public institutions based on the PC power-saving system. Also, by analyzing it in comparison with other method, it is possible to check that the prospects of safety and efficiency are strengthened.

The next generation Internet protocol(IPv6: Internet Protocol version 6) has been introduced to overcome the limitations of IPv4 and will be essential element for our industry environment. Transition to IPv6 is not simply replacing a protocol but complex work which affects the whole network. So, the accomplishment of appropriate plans and the systematic transition activities are required. In this paper, we examined the necessity of IPv6 transition and suggested the transition strategy in major parts of transition, such as networks, applications, and address management system.

트래픽 패턴-맵(PatternMap)은 전체/세부 도메인별 보안 상황을 근원지/목적지 IP 주소 범위로 이루어진 그리드 상에 표현하여 관리자에게 네트워크 보안상황을 실시간으로 인지시키는 도구이다. 각각의 그리드는 근원지-목적지 간의 연결을 의미하며, 최다 점유를 차지하는 트래픽의 포트를 식별력을 갖는 색으로 표현한다. 이상 트래픽 현상의 검출은 가로 및 세로 열에 나타난 동일 색의 막대그래프(포트)의 개수와 그것의 합에 따라 결정되며, 그 결과로 선택된 세로 열과 가로 열을 활성화시켜 관리자에게 그 현상을 인지시킨다. 일반적으로 인터넷 웜이 발생할 경우에는 특정 근원지 열이 활성화되고, DDoS와 같은 현상은 목적지 열이 활성화되는 특징이 있다.

RFC2016bis에 기술된 프로토콜인 ENUM( tElphon/E. 164 NUmber Mapping)은 E. 164 전화번호에 전자메일주소, URL, LDAP 등 인터넷상의 다양한 서비스 에 대한 URI들을 매핑한 후 DNS에 등록함으로서 등록된 전화번호에 대응되는 가용한 서비스를 탐색할 수 있도록 하는 프로토콜이다. 본 논문은 현재진행 중에 있는 ENUM 표준화 작업에 있어 서비스 관련 표준화 동향을 소개한다. 본 논문은 현재 진행되고 있는 국내외 ENUM 서비스 표준화 및 ENUM 시험시스템 구축에 있어 서비스 등록 표준화 내용을 기술함으로써 ENUM의 확산에 기여할 수 있으리라 사료된다.
