Contemporary design environment is formed with image-centered trend based on pluralism. In this point of view, enterprises' building lobbies are public places containing the equivocal meaning, actively utilizing light as a design element to express the image of enterprises' identifications. Light is an immaterial entity having unlimited possibilities and potentials on space. It also acts as media to activate spaces and create new images in connection with formative elements of space. This study is to figure out how lightings are expressed and affected the formative characteristics of office lobby spaces and activate the specific characteristics of spaces. As a result, we drew conclusions as follows. First, as state-of-the-art technology and media are introduced, light is expressed on spaces as floating, direction, rhythm, silhouette, metaphor and allusion, sense of depth and volume. Second, expressive aspects of light in lobby space are embodiment of light, substantiation of immateriality, standing of materiality from the perspective of spatial aesthetics, and distortion/transformation of shape, pluralism phenomena of space from the perspective of spatial structure. In this way, light on building lobbies which are greatly required design differentiation strategy, specializes space and also integrates all the designs as not only a functional element but also a mental, psychological, formative element. Consequently, light on lobby spaces induces communication between spaces and users, makes formative value of existence in itself, and presents the characteristics of differentiated enterprises' identities.

Constructivism is an avant-garde movement that began in 20th-century Russia, which rapidly turned into an industrial society. This was one of the most experimental art movements, that wanted to be at the center of social and political-ideological change as it pursued a unique style, which portrayed the true essence of art and humanity. Russian constructivism greatly influenced modern fashion and suggested a new artistic standard. First, the artistic elements of Russian constructivism include photo montages, geometrical structures, color abstraction, and an asymmetrical order, through which the ideals of the Russian Revolution were substantiated, idealized, and materialized into an artistic form. Second, the different forms of Russian constructivism have various artistic characteristics such as popularity, spatiality, structuralism, decorativeness, and mobility, which were then expressed in modern fashion elaborated below. This study intends to reconstruct the meaning of Russian formalism and reflect it on fashion; thereby reconsidering the characteristics and the meaning of Russian constructivism in the context of today's fashion. This will broaden the meaning of constructivism and suggest a new direction for modern fashion.

Sojeon, Son Jaehyung(1903~1981) was interested in the composition of the classical writing style of Han-gul and its merits in the operation of the brush. And a genius, modern sense of sculpture and ingenious ideas applied to the calligraphy. Thus, he succeeded Tonggukjinche by sublimating it into a unique Handwriting pure and humorous. Sojeon Hangul Calligraphy is exaggerated in consideration of the change of direction, thickness and length of the stroke. There is nothing strange about law and organization and express the great beauty of the great art of harmony and change. Sojeon's contribution is significant in that it has not only become a model for the development of Han-gul calligraphy, but also created a new area of space in modern calligraphy.

현재 자동차의 변화를 이끄는 흐름에서 가장 핵심이 되고 있는 유형 Sport Utility Vehicle은 전천후 기동성 측면과 Sports성을 중심적인 특성으로 다루고 있다. 그러나 SUV로서 off road 중심의 공간 활용 보다는 실내 공간 중심의 활용이 더욱 중요한 특성으로 자리잡고 있다. 이러한 경향은 주 5일 근무 정착에 따른 여가 시간의 증가와 아울러 보다 다양한 직업과 생활 패턴 등에 따라 더욱 두드러질 것으로 보인다. 이러한 근 미래 변화에 대응하는 방법으로 기존의 SUV type에서 탈피하여 sports성을 반영하는 동시에 보다 utility적 활용 중심의 특성을 가지는 XUV (eXtreme Utility Vehicle)라는 새로운 유형을 2010년 시점의 근 미래 테크놀러지와 조형성의 동향 예측, 사용자 요구점 분석 포지셔닝 등을 통해 제안한다.

Clothes and human body are inseparably related. Aesthetic consciousness of the body determines the form of clothing, reflecting the time and culture as well as the individual and society. Clothes can even reorganize the meaning of the body, while transcending their instrumental functions of protecting, expanding and deforming the body. Using 'body' to analyze the clothing form, my study develops a framework by which to classify transfiguration in fashion design. In order to inquire tile formative style and aesthetic values expressed in transfiguration in fashion, my study examines subjects from the discourse on the body to the fashion collections of the late 20th and 21st century. The results of the study are as follows. Transfiguration signifies absence of body which questions the three dimensional construction of the body in more conventional clothing system. Transfiguration is expressed in non-figural forms which implies metaphorical plasticity and abstract extensity. Transfiguration in fashion stresses a will-to-form rather than mere bodily proportion and structure, which explores trans-extensity that goes beyond the boundary of the body. Ultimately, this phase also betrays the correspondence between signifiant and $signifi\acute{e}$ in sartorial convention. Aesthetic ideal of the body is visualized in the form of a dress. Some clothes prioritize the body, particularly the feminine bodily curves, while others focus on the clothing itself as abstract and sculptural forms. Fashion continues to explore forms and images that transcend the traditional representations of the clothed body. As a type of intimate architecture, fashion always mediates the dialogue between clothes and body, or fashion and figure. My study suggests a framework to analyze bodily representation in transfiguration in fashion, focusing on the relationship between the clothes and body.

This thesis examined the characteristics of constructivism that brought about expanded expression of modern jewelry, and also organized how the constructivism was utilized for jewelry. The objective of this study is to examine the attempts of new materials based on constructivism and various expression styles, and also to understand the concept of constructivism developed into an element of complex formative expression. For this, this study organized the characteristics of constructivism that was initially expanded from Bau Haus in the aspect of expression through the composition of material and space, and also analyzed the jewelry artists' methods and attempts to express various materials. As a result, the constructivism showed the expansion of the formativeness of jewelry in the formative aspect of steric expression and in-depth concept through the composition of architectural pattern, visualization of space, and use of other materials, which becomes an example of basic formative element of modern jewelry design. However, it is limited to the material formative element of constructivism, so the expansion of design would be needed. Thus, there should be more researches on the expansion of various jewelry designs that could express the philosophy of constructivism.

The commemorative AR postage stamps which are the world first presented at The YEOSU EXPO 2012 has had meaning of communicating with future in this present from a convergence that the most analog medium is using now and that the AR is cutting edge of digital technology. The AR stamps printed 10 kind out of 33 commemorative stamps. These have great significance that is artistic value than that is world first. The applied AR images are not only expressed 3D real images but also artic represented and signifying each stamp images from visualized creativity process, and build 'new art space' that is new concept between on real(analog) and virtual(digital). This study analyzes meaning of images and then makes concept of AR contents design. The processing is designed and considered the meaning of architectures and environments, and the regional specific feature of the Yeosu with surrealistic graphic concept. The 10 of deducted images were expressed after AR coding such as visual arts. This study realized markerless 3D image tracking AR stamps and deducted research result are; the first, it was able to figure out how to realize AR in the process of registering the reference images, coordinating transformation, and hybriding AR on the stamps for the mobile devices. The second, it was able to be seeked a possibility of new virtual exhibition space. The third, it was able to know possibility of satisfaction of immersing with visual formativeness and usability with informativity.

This study examined figurative characters of rice terraces, and is intended to seek figurative possibility of a natural scene by selecting Gyeongnam Area Namhae Gacheon rice terraces, Sancheong Imcheon rice terraces and Hamyang Macheon rice terraces through an analysis of the target land. As a theoretical background, studies of a natural scene and figuration-related literature were looked into, and for figuring a natural scene on the basis of the results, the character of the topography of rice terraces was divided into 9 items as follows by generalizing the inspiration obtained from the natural scenic character and spatial character of rice terraces represented from the topography: (1) Inclination showing the degree of the slope of rice terraces, (2) The bending showed by unevenness of the edge line of rice terraces, (3) The degree of parallelism of the up-and-down edge line, (4) The size of the width of the section of each rice terrace, (5) The area of the total rice terraces, (6) Step gap that indicates the difference of high and low of the up-and-down small rice terraces, (7) Figuration as an image represented by the external form of the total rice terraces, (8) Naturalness and artificiality kept by the total scene, (9) Softness of cornerstones or soil that forms small rice terraces, an atmosphere produced by the total scenes, etc. The results of analysis made through GIS, with rice terraces of Gyeongnam Namhae, Sancheong and Hamyang Area as the target land, are as follows. First, the steeper the inclination is, the higher the step difference of cornerstones becomes, and the steeper the inclination, the narrower the area and width become, so that it could be known that, in rice terraces, inclination is proportional to step difference and the area is inversely proportional to the width. Second, it is considered that line showed in rice terraces, area elements and reiteration, repeated changes, and changes in the scene affected by the surrounding environment including those according to season can be converted into a variety of images according to an individual disposition. Third, it was decided that it is possible to figure repetitive composition and directivity, motility, order and change, etc. into a common type drawn from each target land. This paper, as a study of basic materials for expressing figuration in an environment field, investigated and analyzed the surrounding environment of the target land, and is significant in that it attempted the possibility of being able to generalize the environmental beauty of the target land as one figurative element. More precise studies are expected to be made later.

The 21st century is an age of design. The design has been developed and changed globally. At the same time, each country tries to find the archetype of its own design which represents its own identity. The object of this research is to show the identity of Korean design through the analysis of dancheong, Korean traditional decorative coloring on wooden buildings and artifacts for the purpose of style. Dancheong is an important clue through which alows us to understand Korean modelling. For the purpose, dancheong of Daewoong-jeon of Mihwang-sa, Haenam, Jeollanam-do, was analyzed. This study shows that, first, dancheong has a cultural value in terms of visual as well as space, symbolic, and figurative aspect. Second, dancheong at Mihwang-sa is an essence of the visual expression which shows the aesthetics of the age. Third, dancheong does not belong to any specific religions or beliefs but shows Korean's design archetype. This study shows that dancheong exists as an archetype of our beauty and it also links national identity.

In general, the cut or dissolve or etc., collective changeover represents the change of scene in the film. Animation film makes scene's various parts to allow intended sensibility and narrative factors by special manufacturing skill generating frame image one by one and transfer it to the different symbolic dimensional expression. Nowadays sequential scene composition is not any more the unique special treatment for 2D animation according to image handling skill like morphing, metamorphosis, etc. becomes diverse and elaborate. But 2D manual animation makes spectator to be absorbed into different visual dimensions continuously and strongly beyond character and background, namely object and space. that is 2D manual animation's strong attractiveness. Finally these characteristics enable literary function which makes it possible to do delicate metaphorical through full scene composition basis and to communicate a implicative meaning system The analysis about scene broke boundary between symbolic perspective world and plane formative world and it became more diverse and complicated. Hereupon the analyzing the composition basis of formative element in the animation film scene and it's application effect make it helpful to analysis and application in the modern image scene having new absorbing methods
