조형성에 있어서 한국의 부드러움과 일본의 예리함에 관한 연구 - 광고디자인을 중심으로 -

  • 우리의 문화적 특성은 어떤 것인가 관심과 노력 그리고 연구는 오늘날까지 문화인류학, 사회학, 예술 등 다양한 분야에서 지속되고 있다. 디자인 분야에서도 마찬가지인데 특히 광고계에서 국적있는 광고, 한국적 과고라는 명제로 많은 크리에이터들이 그 실체를 찾으려 고민하고 있으며 각종 광고사보에 단편적인 글들이 게재되고 이다. 어떤 대상의 특질을 살피기 위해서는 시각(視角)의 중요성이 대두되는데 한 나라의 문화유형도 마찬가지임은 말할 것도 없다. 1994년부터 문화인류학적으로 연구된 유수한 저시로 오늘날까지 일본론의 고전이라할 루드베네딕드의 <국화와 칼>은 서양인의 눈에서 일본을 보고 서양과 비교하여 일본인을 서정적이며 자연을 사랑하는 우수한 민족으로 그리고 있다. 일본인이 쓴 일본에 대해<日本人\ulcorner表現心理>에서 \ulcorner\ulcorner\ulcorner는 "일본만큼 자연을 사랑하는 민족은 없다. 부자연 싫어한다. 자연관, 자주관은 담백, 표백, 무상"이라 쓰고 있다. 우리는 한국의 그림이나 도자기 등의 조형성을 이야기할 때 여백의 미라는 말을 종종한다. 그런데 차후 본 연구에서 다루어지겠으나 다나까이꼬의 그름에 대하여 가메꾸라유사구는 그것을 여백의 미라 하면서 일본적임을 강조하고 있다. 한국과 일본은 문화형성 배경에 있어 유사한 문화적 특질을 공유하고 있는 것은 사실이나 학문적 중립성에서 두 조형성을 비교해볼 때 일본인이 말하는 여백과 한국의 여백, 그리고 일본의 자연적인 것과 우리의 그것은 전연 상이한 것이다. 이렇게 일본과 지정학적으로 가까이 위치하고 있으며 고대사에서는 한 문화를 이루었고 근대사에서는 30여 년간 구체적인 문화를 경험한 한국인의 시각에서 바라본다는 것은 훨씬 근접한 이해에 도움을 줄 수 있을것이라 생각된다. 한국인의 시각에서 일본을 보면 베네딕드나 방하 수의 인식이 얼마나 편견인가 하는 것을 실감하게 된다. 본 연구는 일본의 문화속성 가운데 내재되어 있는 구체적인 조형성을 발굴함으로써 한구그이 조형성으로 필자가 유추하고 있는 '부드러움'이라는 개념을 상대적으로 명확히하고자 하는 데 그 의의가 있다.

  • 모든 예술적 표현 활동은 서로 깊은 연관을 지니고 있으며, 복식 디자인 역시 예술적 표현 활동의 한 분야로서, 현대에 이르러 복식은 단순히 입는다는 개념을 탈피한 하나의 조형 예술로 인식되어지고 있다. 예술적 표현 활동은 조형 제작 활동의 주체인 인간이 예술적 표현의 의지를 사물로 객체화하는 과정에 있어서, 그 재료와 재료의 가공 기법을 통해 표현되는 활동이라고 말할 수 있다. 근자에 이르러 종이는 예술표현 활동에 있어서 진정한 표현 매재로 간주되고 있으며, 특히 종이를 예술적 표현을 위한 피동적 표면이라는 재료로서의 고정된 관념에서 탈피하여 입체적 조형이 시도되고, 이러한 종이의 입체로의 성형 가능성에 대한 발견은 조형 매체로서의 종이에 대한 새로운 시각을 제시하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 종이 조형에 의해 표현되는 조형성을 복식에 적용시키기 위한 것으로서, 종이를 통한 조형성 표현의 여러 방법 중 특히 접기의 방법을 응용하여, 접기 기법의 조형요소로서의 특성과 인체와 결합하여 복식으로 이루어졌을 때 새로운 조형물로 인식되어질 수 있는 복식의 형태를 시도하였다. 작품은 접기 기법에 의해 형성되는 조형성을 복식을 응용하여, 복식에 대한 기하학적 조형성과 함께 새로운 실루엣과 이미지를 창출하며, 복식의 새로운 표현 영역의 확대를 위한 실물 작품으로 제작하였다.

  • The accessories growth according to the changes in each era and of course, jewelry processing technology has also improved, but in modern times, the frequency of use of jewelry has decreased, and it has been neglected compared to crafting and metal-related technologies. The beauty of crafted jewelry still remains, there are many problems to cover many age groups due to valuable and design problems. Accordingly, this researcher intends to conduct research to inform the formative beauty and value of processed jewelry. Jewelry designby mainly applying lines during the shaping of the jewelry cutting surface. Prior to the design, a theoretical approach to the design case and jewelry processing literature, and based on this, jewelry design applied in the form of jewelry cutting. This study is expected to promote the vitalization of jewelry research, which is currently marginalized in the field of precious metals, and to develop a number of designs using jewelry.

  • In 1995, When people read a poem, the image that a poet intends to convey to readers shows in various colors according to the status of their emotion. Poetry is a bridge as well as a text, which connects this world and the poet's world. In such relationship, the communication through Types occurs. The realm of application of modern typography is widening due to the development of the Internet and mass media, and the ways of expression of which are changing with the help of lots of softwares. So, the modern typography is re-born as an organic language which is alive, breathing. Therefore, Types has the structural character similar to that of Typography, which is a language of image, creating today's movement, time, and space. The already existing poetry contains meanings but has a descriptive structures. On contrary, compared with the former, the type appeared in Hangul Concrete Poetry., itself is a poem in another realm due to the formality native to Hangul, and which appears in non-linear structure. So, in this thesis, I will analyze the formality and non-linear structure of Hangul Typography in order to widen the realm of research on typography, which is a very meaningful trial to visualize the literature.

A Study on Using Formative Nature of The Voice Actor for 2D/3D Animation Character:Based on Disney and Pixar Case (목소리 배우의 조형성을 이용한 2D/3D 애니메이션 캐릭터 연구:디즈니와 픽사를 중심으로)

  • It seems like that the main stream of animation for theaters transferred from cells to 30 animations. It can be easily seen if current situation is compared to the time when al! works were Cell animations. Although earlier papers were mostly about studies on Cell animation works, future studies will publish papers related to 30. Accordingly, this study studied the association of the researcher's paper with 30 works while It had been applied to 20. Then, based on the data, this study analyzed how major/supporting characters were transformed to animation characters in the scenes that were animated at the beginning and end of film that were reieased in 2007. This result was compared with the character made using a voice actor in the Pixar's long piece of animation for theater that had been already screened. The data were made into values to some extent in an attempt to increase satisfaction in the result of analysis comparing the character with the voice actor. When making characters using actual persons, it is hoped that grasping the modeling factors of the images making 20/30 characters as indicated in this study will be helpful in producing animation characters.

The relationship between information recognition efficiency and formative attributes of infographics (정보 인식의 효율성과 인포그래픽의 시각적 조형성의 관계)

  • This study focused on shape attributes in a basic study that identified infographics expression diversification and delivery efficiency based on formative attributes. To achieve that goal, formative attributes were categorized as geometric or expressional type, and significant differences between them were found by identifying the attributes of each type. The study analyzed the correlations between each infographic type's formative attributes and content delivery. The results found that regularity, clarity, visibility, and content delivery were attributes of the geometric type, whereas expressionality, visibility, clarity, and content delivery were attributes of the expressional type. Further analysis of the attributes focusing on content delivery found that regularity and visibility significantly influenced content delivery for the geometric type, and expressionality and clarity significantly influenced content delivery for the expressional type. Thus, this study empirically confirmed that formative attributes of infographics distinguished between expression types with statistically significant differences during the visualization process. And that specific factors influencing content delivery were formative attributes.

Landscape Preference and Image Property according to Middle Span and Sag Ratio of the Suspension Bridge (현수교의 중앙경간과 새그비에 따른 경관선호도와 이미지특성 분석)

  • This study is aimed at suggesting a plan for creating a landscape environment by grasping a landscape preference according to the change of middle span and sag ratio which is a consideration factor when designing the suspension bridge representing long-span bridges and image property of the bridge while applying SD method to a relation between landscape preference and image factor, and a connection of design element with image factor. An analysis on landscape preference about the bridge landscape showed from what the longer the length of middle span, the extent of sag ratio of preference decreased, the longer the middle span low sag ratio was preferred and the higher the landscape preference became. In landscape preference and image factor, the attribute of sag ratio with high landscape preference was all positively correlated with "stability", "plasticity", and "aesthetic" but an influence of "plasticity" was insignificant. In the relation between design element and image factor, the factor of middle span and sag ratio was more related to the factor of "stability" and the lower the sag ratio and the longer the middle span, the higher the "stability" was rated. This result showed the image property of "plasticity" was insignificant among the one of preference in landscape and to highlight the one of "plasticity" a complementary experiment was done with a change in balance and symmetry elements not in proportional element of middle span and sag ratio. The result showed the image property of "plasticity" was more highlighted in the suspension bridge of 3-tower and different bilateral symmetry at sag, and when designing the landscape of suspension bridge later on, the elements of balance and symmetry as well as the proportional element should be considered and reflected in the design.
