  • The issue of enhancing salespersons' performance by introducing the concept of organizational identification has been addressed. This empirical study focuses on how salespersons' performance is influenced by organizational identification. Salespersons' performance is the main outcome variable. Organizational identification may also affect performance through internalization. This study also examines how several antecedents influence organizational identification. Three important antecedents in this study are (1) tenure with the organization, (2) the organization's perceived prestige and (3) perceived interorganizational competition. Among six hypotheses formulated based on the conceptual framework, five are found accepted based on a structural equation model. Several theoretical and managerial implications are presented.

  • The present study was to examine the relationship among work-family conflict, anger regulation, and organizational commitment. Four-hundred and eighty-seven workers completed the instruments assessing work-family conflict, anger regulation, and organizational commitment. The results showed that work-family conflict was negatively related to organizational commitment, but not significantly linked to anger regulation, and anger regulation was positively related to organizational commitment. It might be possible to address clearly the relationship among work-family conflict, anger regulation, and organizational commitment, especially the mediation effect of anger regulation, using a large sample.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of organizational culture on subjective well-being in organization. For this, this study surveyed organizational culture and subjective well-being those 142 workers experienced. CVM(Competing Value Model) and COMOSWB(Concise Measure of Subjective Well-Being) were used to measure them. The results were as follows: First, organizational culture had a significant influence on the subjective well-being(p<.001) in the organization and explained it as 28.4%. Only group culture had a significant positive influence on the subjective well-being(p<.001). On the other hand, hierarchical culture, developmental culture and rational culture had no significant influence on subjective well-being. Second, organizational culture had a significant positive influence on satisfaction(p<.001) and positive emotion(p<.001), but had a negative influence on negative emotion(p<.05) which are the factors of subjective well-being, and explained them as 35.3%, 26.0% and 5.1%. Only group culture had a significant positive influence on satisfaction(p<.001) and positive emotion(p<.001), but had negative influence on negative emotion(p<.01). Based on the drawn results, this study provides practical and theoretical implications and suggests further studies.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the hierarchical linear relationship among receptivity to organizational change, individual variables of professors and organizational variables in junior colleges. The population for this study was 12,920 professors in 139 junior colleges. Using random sampling method considering subject, 800 professors in 40 colleges were sampled for this study. The data were collected from May 26 to June 13. A total of 445 out of 800 questionnaires were returned of which 441 of 40 junior colleges were used for analysis after data cleaning. These data were analyzed by both descriptive statistics and One-way ANOVA with Random Effects, Ranmdom-Coefficients Regression Model, and Intercepts-and Slopes-as-Outcomes Model of hierarchical linear model(HLM). All data analysis was accomplished using the SPSS 20.0 for windows program and the HLM 6.0 for windows program. An alpha level of 0.05 was established priori for determining the significance. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the level of receptivity to organizational change of professions in junior college was 3.94. Second, 56.5% of total variance in receptivity to organizational change was individual level variance. 43.5% of total variance in receptivity to organizational change was organizational level variance. Third, personal valence about organizational change, psychological ownership, experience of assignment, years of service and job security had positive effects on receptivity to organizational change while years of service had negative effects on receptivity to organizational change. The effect of personal valence about organizational change was highest, and the effect of job security was lowest. Fourth, degree of organizational change, participative decision-making, group culture and accessibility of information related to organizational change had positive effects on receptivity to organizational change. The effect of degree of organizational change was highest, and the effect of accessibility of information related to organizational change was lowest.

  • This paper is empirically to examine the effects of project manager's competencies (intellectual, managerial, and emotional competencies) on the performance for planning and outcome of NPD (new product development) project in project matrix organization. To achieve this purpose, we employ a field survey of project managers in project matrix organization and PLS (partial least square) structural equation modelling to test hypotheses of our research model. The results show that intellectual competency positively affect both of performances for planning and for outcome, whereas managerial and emotional competencies have not significant effect on them. Our attempt is to provide theoretical implications to current studies related to project management and helps for practitioners to develop a program for selecting and training capable and promising project managers.

It also were verified moderating effects based on career and gender in terms of causal relationship. Based on 301 reserved samples for empirical study, reliability and suitability were reviewed, and total 5 hypotheses were verified by structural equation models. The results were shown that charisma and motivation has significant effect on organizational commitment, which was influenced significantly on job satisfaction. Through these findings, among supervisor's transformational leaderships perceiving by employees, charisma and motivation were shown to give encourage employees to have them a positive attitude toward organizational commitment. • This study aims to investigate the influence of person-organization(P-O) fit on job satisfaction, and turnover intent mediated through goal commitment using structural equation modeling. An experimental design is applied to test seven hypotheses that reflect the research questions. Five star deluxe hotel employees are targeted for sampling. A total of 180 faithful cases out of 250 cases have been analyzed. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics and multivariate analysis of variance, and structural equation modeling(SEM) are employed using SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 4. The results indicate the hotel employees' perceived P-O fit is positively associated with goal commitment and job satisfaction while negatively linked with turnover intent. Also, goal commitment has a positive effect on job satisfaction while having a negative effect on turnover intent, mediating between P-O fit and organizational outcomes. Therefore, the needs to evaluate P-O fit and goal commitment during recruitment and after organizational entry have been raised.
