A Study on Factors Determining the Level of Smartwork : Focusing on the Role of Middle Level Manager (스마트워크 수준 결정요인에 관한 연구 : 중간관리자 역할을 중심으로)

  • Smart is becoming a social fever since Apple had invented iPhone. It looks old fashioned, if the word Smart is missed in TV, phone even white electronic goods. Korean's major firms made a slogan Smart Work as an important business strategy and tried to implement some activities. These Smart trends influenced the way people's working and organization. In this research, we explore the key factors related to smart work and empirically test the significance of antecedent variables such as Dynamics, Collaborativeness, Connectivity in determining the smartwork level. The statistical result, based upon survey responses, shows that organizational dynamics, organizational collaborativeness and process collaborativeness are the most salient factors for smarkwork level. As a conclusion, the academic and practical implications of these findings are also discussed.

Anatomical Characteristics of Charcoals Carbonized in a Korean Traditional Kiln (전통식 탄화로에서 제탄된 목탄의 해부학적 특성)

  • A comparative study on the structure of wood and charcoals was examined by scanning electron microscopy. Four species as Quercus variabilis $B_LUME$, Quercus mongozica $F_ISCH$ , Fraxinus rhynchcphylla $H_ANCE$ and Prunus sargentii $R_EHDER$ were used for this experiment. Cell dimensions of charcoals showed more higher shrinkage than those of wood. Shape of vessels was slightly changed due to become smaller in tangential diameter. Therefore, it was considered that the decrease of charcoal yield was caused by decrease of cell dimensions as well as loss of wood components.

  • This study presents two dimensional views of IT-use behaviors. It examines public employee's IT-use behavior as manifested in two ways: acceptance on IT, utilization on IT. This study investigates levels of employee's the acceptance and utilization on IT in the Korean Central Government(ministry and agency) and analyses factors affecting public employee's the acceptance and utilization on task-related IT in the public sector. This study tries to examine the variables affecting the acceptance and utilization on IT; especially, the influences of such variables as leadership, task-related communication with people, task motivation, IT usability and ease of uses, task understanding in the context of Korean Central Government. Based on a questionnaire survey in Korean Central Government(8 ministries, 5 agencies) that have implemented Government Knowledge Management System(GKMS), 311 valid instruments were received and analyzed using various statistics and structural equation model(SEM). And this study will adopt try to delineate pre and intervening conditions for public employee's the acceptance and utilization. According to the results of interviews and SEM analysis suggests that the influence of task-understanding, organizational communication, IS usability were statistically significant in the acceptance and utilization on IT. And it is also hoped that the path-analytic model suggested in this study helps reveal the causal chains between the acceptance and the utilization. Especially, task-understanding proves to be important in encouraging public employee's the acceptance and utilization. This result illustrates why task-understanding people are the key to utilize the task-related IT in public organization.

  • It is required to polish the components of administrative services constructively and technologically in order to achieve adminstration the u-Gov pursues. Therefore, the government needs to provide management on united information by combining collaborative construction and Convergence technology. This is called to be UT based positioning system. The system ought to be spread out and is contributed to enlarge interaction. For these reasons, in this paper, I embodied the fundamental st겨cture of new the service application through drawing UT based requirements for an establishment of its prototype.

  • 다양한 의료서비스를 정형화되고 효율적인 방법으로 제공하기 위하여 최근 의료기관의 EMR(Electronic Medical Record; 전자의무기록) 시스템의 도입이 급속도로 확산되고 있다. 그러나 국내에서 구축되고 있는 EMR은 초기에 기대했던 EMR의 도입목적을 중분하게 달성하지 못하고 있다. 이는 근본적으로 EMR의 방향성과 구조에 한계를 지니고 있기 때문이다. 국내에서 구축되고 있는 대부분의 전자의무기록시스템은 자료수집원 지향 의무기록 (Source Oriented Medical Record; SOMR) 방식으로 개별 사실을 수집하고 제시하기 위한 관찰자 중심, 서식중심의 시스템이며 차트 이송과 종이를 없애는 것이 주목적이다. SOMR 방식은 EMR의 다양한 도입목적, 특히 임상자료의 효과적 활용을 충족시킬 수 없는 태생적인 한계를 지니고 있기 때문에 문제지향 의무기록 (Problem Oriented Medical Record; POMR) 방식의 EMR과 적절한 혼용전략 (Hybrid Strategy)이 절실히 요구된다. 본 연구의 목적은 SOMR 시스템과 POMR 시스템이 보완적으로 결합된 하이브리드 EMR 아키텍처를 제시하고 아키텍처를 구성하는 데 필요한 기술적 요소들과 그들간의 상호관계 틀 파악한 후 이를 기반으로 개발방법론을 도출하는 것이다. 또한 만성신부전증 환자 사례를 이용하여 앞서 제시된 개발방법론에 따라 프로토타입을 개발하였다. 본 연구는 EMR 시스템이 SOMR 구조에만 편향됨으로써 발생될 수 있는 다양한 문제들을 해결함으로써 진료의 품질 항상, 임상연구의 활성화, 조직적이고 과학적인 진료계획의 수립과 같은 소외되어 왔던 EMR의 목표를 실현할 수 있을 것으로 기대 된다.

Experience Sexual Harassment of Nurses: Phenomenological Study (간호사의 병원 내 성희롱 피해 경험: 현상학적 연구)

  • This study was carried out in order to determine the essential structure and meaning of sexual harassment experienced by nurses, prepare a systematic mediation measure that could prevent sexual harassment. In this study, Giorgi's phenomenological research method and an in-depth interview were used, and data was collected from seven participants in general hospital nurses who had experienced sexual harassment from August 6, 2022 to March 25, 2023. The main question used in the in-depth interview was "What does sexual harassment mean to you?". The transcribed data was analyzed according to the method presented by Giorgi through the stages including reading of the data, breaking of the data into some kind of parts, organization and expression of the data from a disciplinary perspective and synthesis or summary of the data for purposes of communication to the scholarly community. As a result, 159 meaning units, 37 essential psychological meanings, 13 sub-constituents, 5 constituents were drawn. The five components include 'exposed to the front line of sexual harassment', 'struggling alone', 'feeling abandoned from the organization', 'finding a way to get through together' and 'feeling changing'. Based on the above results, it is expected to prevent sexual harassment of nurses and provide basic data useful for preparing systematic intervention measures for them and improving the system.

Laminin-1 Expression in Bone Marrow Stromal Cells of Cyclophosphamide-treated Rat (Cyclophosphamide가 흰쥐 골수의 기질세포에서 Laminin-1의 발현에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of the present study is to investigate whether stromal cells supporting specific microenvironment for hematopoiesis of bone marrow are affected by toxicants and therapeutic drugs such as antibiotics and anticancer drugs and whether laminin-1 is associated with such effects. SD rats were intraperitoneally injected with 75 mg/kg of cyclophosphamide which is widely used to treat infant's solid tumor, leukemia and myeloma and sacrificed after 3 days, 1 week, 3 weeks or 5 weeks of injection. The bone marrow extracted and paraffin-sectioned was analyzed using immunohistochemical staining. A part of tissues was subjected to electron microscopy following reaction with rabbit anti-laminin antibody, biotinylated goat anti-rabbit IgG conjugated with 12 nm gold particles, and staining with uranyl acetate. 1. The bone marrow tissue at day 3 post injection with cyclophosphamide displayed dilated venous sinus, partial necrotic death, and decreased number of hematopoietic cells. Laminin-1 was intensively stained in the reticular and adipose tissues. 2. Up to 5 weeks post injection, laminin-1 was stained at a low level in the stromal tissue of bone marrow and the number of hematopoietic cell was increased. 3. Deposition of the gold particle which represents laminin-1 expression was observed at the highest level in the stromal cells of bone marrow obtained 3 days after injection, and decreased after 1 to 5 weeks. These results suggest that stromal cells which play a role in supporting microenvironment for bone marrow hematopoiesis augment induction of laminin-1 expression and activation upon administration of cyclophosphamide.

Meta-analysis of Information Security Policy Compliance Based on Theory of Planned Behavior (정보보안 정책준수에 대한 메타분석: 계획된 행동이론을 중심으로)

  • With widespread use of information technologies the importance of information security has been heightened. Security policies which deal with fundamental direction of information security are critical elements of information security management. Numerous studies have been conducted on users' intention to comply security policies. They were based on various theoretical foundations and the theory of planned behavior(TPB) was the most frequently used. This research employed one of the quantitatively synthesizing meta-analytic techniques called Two-Stage Structural Equation Modeling to investigate factors influencing information security policy compliance behavior based on TPB. Analysis results indicated that all three factors of TPB were significantly influencing the behavioral intention. Moreover, the overall fit indices of structural model exhibited satisfactory level.

Effect of Customer Experience Management Capability on Job Satisfaction and Customer Orientation of Service Firms : Focus on the Bank Service (서비스기업의 고객경험관리역량이 직무만족 및 고객지향성에 미치는 영향 : 은행서비스를 중심으로)

  • This study examines the effect of customer experience management capability of a bank and job satisfaction and customer orientation of the frontline employee in bank. The proposed research model and developed hypotheses were tested using structural equations modeling based on data collected from 321 employees working in banks. The results of the study confirm the positive effects of employee training, employee empowerment, employee evaluation, cross functional work of customer experience management capability is job satisfaction and customer orientation. But channel integration is not supported job satisfaction and customer orientation. Performance management influenced customer orientation through job satisfaction. The study provides On a theoretical level valuable insights into the customer experience management competency at the organizational unit and but there is also a limitation that firms the is limited.

Three-Dimensional Approaches in Histopathological Tissue Clearing System (조직투명화 기술을 통한 3차원적 접근)

  • Three-dimensional microscopic approaches in histopathology display multiplex properties that present puzzling questions for specimens as related to their comprehensive volumetric information. This information includes spatial distribution of molecules, three-dimensional co-localization, structural formation and whole data set that cannot be determined by two-dimensional section slides due to the inevitable loss of spatial information. Advancement of optical instruments such as two-photon microscopy and high performance objectives with motorized correction collars have narrowed the gap between optical theories and the actual reality of deep tissue imaging. However, the benefits gained by a prolonged working distance, two-photon laser and optimized beam alignment are inevitably diminished because of the light scattering phenomenon that is deeply related to the refractive index mismatch between each cellular component and the surrounding medium. From the first approaches with simple crude refractive index matching techniques to the recent cutting-edge integrated tissue clearing methods, an achievement of transparency without morphological denaturation and eradication of natural and fixation-induced nonspecific autofluorescence out of real signal are key factors to determine the perfection of tissue clearing and the immunofluorescent staining for high contrast images. When performing integrated laboratory workflow of tissue for processing frozen and formalin-fixed tissues, clear lipid-exchanged acrylamide-hybridized rigid imaging/immunostaining/in situ hybridization-compatible tissue hydrogel (CLARITY), an equipment-based tissue clearing method, is compatible with routine procedures in a histopathology laboratory.
