Plans for Reaction of the 4th Industrial Revolution by Local Government through Establishment of Professional Organization: Focused on Establishment of Seoul S&T Strategy Research Institute (전문조직 설립을 통한 지자체의 4차 산업혁명 대응 방안: (가칭)서울과학기술전략연구원 설립 제안을 중심으로)

  • 4차 산업혁명은 메가시티를 포함한 지역 경제권, 교육 및 삶의 방식, 환경인프라 전반에 엄청난 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상된다. 이러한 변화에 효과적으로 대응하기 위해서는 국가 단위 대응뿐만 아니라 지자체 단위의 방향설정 및 지역 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 전략 수립이 필요하다. 주요국의 경우 광역자치권 단위의 전문조직(총괄기획 및 종합조정 컨트롤타워)을 두고 지속가능한 도시 성장을 모색하며 4차 산업혁명에 대응하고 있는 반면, 국내 지자체의 대응은 미비한 편이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전문조직 설립을 통한 지자체의 4차 산업혁명 대응 방안을 연구하였다. 이를 위하여 주요국 대응 현황을 조사하였고, 서울특별시 케이스를 중심으로 전문조직 설립을 통한 글로벌 경쟁력 확보 및 지속가능한 성장 방안을 제안하였다. 구체적으로는 서울특별시 과학기술분야 관련 전문가 150명을 대상으로 설문을 수행하여 '(가칭)서울과학기술전략연구원'의 필요성, 미션, 핵심역할 및 기능을 정립하였고, 설립 및 운영방안을 설계하였다. 아울러 비용편익분석을 수행하여 해당 기관 설립의 타당성과 기대효과를 추정하였다. 마지막으로 연구결과를 종합하여 이론적 실무적 시사점, 연구의 한계점 및 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.

Temporal Price Reduction as Cooperative Price Discrimination (협력적 가격차별 수단으로서의 일시적 가격할인)

  • This paper considers a duopoly where switching costs exist. The analysis proves that temporal price reductions can be pure strategy equilibrium where firms earn more profit than in a regular price strategy. Greater profits result from price discrimination in temporal price reductions. The equilibrium is contrasted with previous studies, which explain temporal price reductions as a result of mixed strategy. In a given model with an assumption about forming switching cost, firms can control their range of loyal consumers by properly setting their regular and promotional prices. The model shows that temporal price reduction tends to raise the regular price and decrease the range of loyal consumers.

  • The regional strategic industry support has been increasingly developed due to the change of environmental and political conditions for the last 10 years. As the paradigm changed from the central government-sponsored system to regional government-sponsored system, the policy has been diversified into various support systems such as regional strategic industry, specialized industry, supporting technology, supporting business, etc. It is crucial to establish the overall development plans and project strategies for the regional industry in terms of effectiveness and efficiency which will generate an integrated strategic frame to adjust overlapped supporting policies and offer a consumer-oriented service. Not only does the study focus on performance-based outcome regarding to a regional business (supporting policy) portfolio, but it also analyzes and proves an empirical decision-making model to draw out the priority and relative importance according to the regional strategic industry and support cases by analyzing the case of Chungnam area's strategic industry support in 2009. Following a priority list of 20 support cases selected from this research model by the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the result shows that the diverse support plans are needed according to the different strategic industries or the size of enterprise due to the fact that priority of project type varies upon the characteristics of strategic industry. Thus, the support project needs to generate various strategic industries and develop differentiated support policy to consolidate competitiveness of regional enterprises and revitalize the regional economy.

Topic Modeling of Profit Adjustment Research Trend in Korean Accounting (텍스트 마이닝을 이용한 이익조정 연구동향 토픽모델링)

  • This study identifies the trend of Korean accounting researches on profit adjustment. We analyzed the abstract of accounting research articles published in Korean Citation Index (KCI) by using text mining technique. Among papers whose themes were profit adjustment, topics were divided into 4 parts: (i) Auditing and audit reports, (ii) corporate taxes and debt ratios, (iii) general management strategy of companies, and (iv) financial statements and accounting principles. Unlike the prediction that financial statements and accounting principles would be the main topic, auditing was analyzed as the most studied area. We analyzed topic trends based on the number of papers by topic, and could figure out the impact of K-IFRS introduction on profit adjustment research. By using Big Data method, this study enabled the division of research themes that have not been available in the past studies. This study enables the policy makers and business managers to learn about additional considerations in addition to accounting principles related to profit adjustment.

  • This paper examines the factors affecting financial exclusion, and proposes the strategies for enhancing the role of credit unions as financing source for small business startups. Credit cooperative institutions have played an important role in assisting people and communities who suffer from social and financial exclusion such as small business owners. But many of them have closed and lost their operational grounds by financial restructuring. Accordingly people with low credit scores have faced with increased financial constraints and the government has proposed various measures to assist them. Credit unions should develop strategies more actively to ease their financial constraints, expand and reinforce the operational grounds through relationship banking, enhance competitiveness by community based specialization strategies and developing models.

  • 오늘날 병원마케팅에서 간호서비스는 병원 내 어느 전문직보다도 가장 많은 시간을 고객인 환자와 합께 나누며 환자의 욕구 충족을 위하여 고도의 분업화된 제반 부서들간의 활동을 조정하고 융화시키는 역할올 통하여 환자들이 지각하는 병원서비스의 만족도에 종요 한 부분을 차지하고 있으므로 병원마케팅의 전략적 초점으로 전환될 필요가 있다. 의료 서비스는 특성상 전문성이 강해서 정보가 소비자에게 공유되지 못하고 있으며 비영리조직이라는 인식하에 의료 서비스에 대한 광고를 제한합으로써 실제적으로 소비자에게 필요한 의료 관련 정보들마저도 제한을 받는 경우가 많이 있다. 그리고 의료서비스의 무형성, 비분리성, 이질성, 소멸성의 특성으로 어떠한 의료 서비스를 이용할 것인지해 대한 결정을 고객이 하기 어렵기 때문에 오늘날 의료 소비자들이 의료제공 기관을 선택 할 때는 밑올만한 다른 사랑의 추천에 크게 의존하고 있는 것으로 알려져 있으며, 국내의 연구에서도 의료소비자들이 병원을 선택하는 주된 정보 획득 원천이 주변의 제 3자인 것으로 알려져 있다. 이러한 정보 전달에 구전 커뮤니케이션이 주요한 제3자적 억할을 한다. 이러 한 관접에서 불 때 의료 소비자둘 사이의 구전 커뮤니케이션은 마케 팅 전략상 매우 종요하 며 마케팅 관리측면에서 의료 소비자들의 구전 커뮤니케이션 형태톨 파악하는 것은 매우 중요한 일이라고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 구전 커뮤니케이션의 내용 및 경로 그리고 유형을 파악하고 이들 유형간 의료서비스의 만족도를 알아봄으로써 효파적인 병원 마케팅 전략을 수립하는데 필요한 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과를 증합해 보면 의료소비자들이 연령 성별 학력, 소득, 직업, 주거지가 비슷한 사람과 구전이 활발하게 일어냐는 것을 파악 할 수 있어 특히 상업적 광고가 제한 된 병원의 마케팅 전략에 oH우 유용한 것이 훨 수 있다. 또한 불만족한 소비자일수록 발신 자적 입장에 서서 주위의 사람들에게 활발한 구전 활동을 수행하고 었음을 알 수 있다. 이 는 의료 소비자들이 만족한 경우보다는 불만족한 경우에 더욱 구전을 수행하려는 의지가 강해짐올 시사한다. 따라서 병원은 소비자들의 불만을 감소시키기 위해 노력해야 한다. 특히 의료인의 친절함이 가장 많이 구전이 되는 것을 알 수 있었는데 의사나 간호사는 치료 나 간호의 직접적인 제공자로서 의료 소비자들의 만족도에 중요한 영향을 미치므로 의료소 비자들의 요구에 부응하는 서비스를 충족시켜 줄 수 있도록 노력해야하며 이러한 바탕 위에 병원마케팅 전략이 수립되어야 할 것이다.

  • Recent lifeline with Internet and smart-phone is a new ICT-based revolution that has transformed the structure of economics and business activities in digital economy. This paper deals with some economic perspectives on the conceptual concerns on transaction costs and its applications to energy and environments, and glocalization strategies of e-business. First, we consider substantial differences between offline and online channel transactions and categorize three different aspects of transaction costs in the purchasing process in both channels. Second, we examine the impacts of e-business that affect sustainable environments and provide some considerations on energy savings, product-process design, and logistics. Finally, we present some opportunities and challenges posted by global e-business and outline the economics of networking in achieving enhanced performance and competitive advantage through glocalization strategies of e-business.

  • Service firms have always been relationship oriented. the nature of service businesses is relationship based. As service finns, like banks, insurance finns, have grown, The masses of consumers have made the establishment of true relationships more difficult. Understanding the motivations of consumers to engage in relationships with marketers is important for both practitioners and marketing scholars. To develop an effective theory of relationship marketing, It is necessary to understand what motives consumers to reduce their available market choices. This article focuses on the development of the successful relationship strategies in domestic banks. The results of this study show the four types of relationship strategies - social bonds, structural bonds, financial bonds, and other bonds. Although the effectiveness of these strategies differs as the types of performances, All four types of relationship strategies are essential for building and maintaining relationships with customers. Totally, the order of influences on the performance is as follows; financial bonds, structural bonds, and social bonds.

  • We examined the relationship between innovation capability of R&D and the firm's performance by mainly comparing regional strategy industry with non-regional strategy industry. Also, this analysis involved comparing the relationship by regional strategy industry. For the purpose of this study, we divided innovation capability of R&D into input, process and output. The first of main results in this study was that regional strategic industry was significantly higher than non-regional strategy industry in innovation capability of R&D with the exception of the CEO's mind for technological innovations. However, we found no significant difference in the firm's performance. Second, in the results of comparing innovation capability of R&D and the firm's performance by regional strategy industry, electronic-information equipment industry was significantly superior to other industries. Third, it was found that the relationship between innovation capability of R&D and the firm's performance was different by regional strategy industry. Also, R&D manpower and R&D process were more significant factors affecting the firm's performance rather than R&D input and output.

  • This paper suggests the 'growing together' strategy through the instrument of horizontal equalization development fund collected by Seoul Metropolitan Area(SMA) governments. This method is a kind of SMA's special grant composed of the real estate related taxes, corporate tax, property-related capital gain tax,. development gain, various charges by 'The Framework Act on the Management of Charges', the sharing of tax revenues. Also the up-zoning and exemption of capital gain tax burden in SMA's plant site sale process is suggested as a another method. Finally governance strategy with contract theories and social agreements point out how mutual duties between two parties can be efficiently managed. Governance system among levels of government is executive strategy that could be used as clarifying and learning tools for co-development by SMA's special grant.
