This study was conducted structural model analysis focusing on the factors influencing UHDTV service usage. The perceived quality, innovativeness, price sensitivity are adopted as independent variables and perceived usefulness, perceived easy use are adopted as intervening variables. Especially symbolism used it as a control variable. As a result of the analysis by PLS, the influence coefficient of perceived quality was significantly higher than other variables. However, the combined effect of symbolism and perceived quality has a negative effect on perceived usefulness, and the more the users consider the symbolism of UHDTV usage, the more negative the evaluation of UHD quality and usefulness. With the launch of the terrestrial UHDTV service in May 2017, the most important issue is the production and distribution of high-quality content that users want.
The purpose of this study is to identify acceptance factors and influencing factors of respondents' adoption of smart IoT technology to companion animal health based on the integrated technology acceptance model. Based on the previous studies, we constructed the hypotheses by defining the technical factors, social factors, control variables, and mediating variables (UTAUT), and set the hypotheses between the independent variables of each factor and the dependent intention. A research model was designed to verify the relationship between variables. We developed questionnaires on the items and verified them through data collected from 494 people. As a result, product design, quality of service, product performance, and quality service of technological factors had a significant effects on performance expectancy and effort expectancy. However, product safety, product function awareness, and product price did not significantly affect performance expectancy and effort expectancy. Social influence had significant effects on cognitive effect, welfare system, and welfare facilities. In conclusion, the comparative analysis of technical factors and social factors showed that social factors have more significant effects on welfare systems and facilities.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of Lubric Learning Strategy Program, to solve problems of the Middle School Students' learning, on learning motivation, self-efficacy and self-regulation. The objects of this investigation was 60 students sampled from the first, second and third year students of Y Middle school in Seoul, which was divided equally -30 students each- into experimental group and control group. The progress covered 10 weeks period, a hour and half every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The conclusion derived from the results and discussion is as follows: First, the learning motivation of experimental group participated in the Lubric Learning Strategy Program to solve learning problems has changed quite meaningfully compared to the control group. It showed positive changes in all suborn ate variables such as class motivation, continuing motivation, intrinsic motivation, and extrinsic motivation. Second, the self-efficacy of experimental group participated in the Lubric Learning Strategy Program to solve learning problems has changed quite meaningfully compared to the control group. These results showed positive changes in subordinate variables such as preference level to subjects and self-control efficacy, though did not show notable changes in confidence area. However as confidence area doesn't really matter in total score, Lubric Learning Strategy Program is considered to have good influence in self-efficacy. Third, the self-regulation of experimental group participated in the Lubric Learning Strategy Program to solve learning problems has changed quite meaningfully compared to the control group. It showed positive changes in all subordinate variables such as self-control mode and inhibitory will mode. Fourth, the use on learning strategy of experimental group participated in the Lubric Learning Strategy Program to solve learning problems has changed quite meaningfully compared to the control group. These results showed positive changes in subordinate variables such as rehearsal, elaboration, organization and inspection, though did not show notable changes in schedule and control area. However, as the total score of use on learning strategy has changed prominently, Lubric Learning Strategy Program is considered to have good influence in use of learning strategy.
This study examined the thinking styles of scientifically gifted students on the basis of Sternberg's theory of mental self-government, and the relationship between thinking styles and self-regulated learning ability of the students and their scientific inquiry ability by the different types of thinking styles. 110 middle school students who belonging to the university science-gifted education center participated in this study. 13 thinking styles were postulated that fall along 5 dimensions which are functions, forms, levels, scopes and leanings of the mental self-government. Scientifically gifted students responded to the Thinking Style Inventory (TSI) that standardized Korean version, Self-regulated Ability Inventory and Test of Science Inquiry Skills Inventory (TSIS). The results indicated that scientifically gifted students prefer legislative, liberal, external, hierarchical and judical thinking styles, rather than conservative style. This result also showed that subscales of thinking styles were significantly correlated with self-regulated learning ability and scientific inquiry ability. The legislative style, hierarchical style, local style and liberal style were significant predictors of self-regulation learning ability. The legislative style was significant predictor, whereas oligarchic style was negative predictor of scientific inquiry ability. The results of k-means clustering analysis and MANOVA showed that the self-regulated learning ability and scientific inquiry ability were significantly correlated with the pattern and level of thinking style.

Statement Validity Analysis (SVA) is utilized in criminal investigations and the court to assess the credibility of given statements. During this procedure, the criteria for Criteria-Based Content Analysis (CBCA) are used to evaluate whether statements include the characteristics reflecting actual experiences about the event in question. Various studies had been conducted on the efficacy (classification rates) of CBCA criteria, yet the consistency of the findings was not investigated. In the current study, a meta-analysis was conducted with Korean CBCA studies reported from 2004 to 2020 (a total of fourteen studies). As a result, the total score of CBCA was found to successfully discriminate truth and fabrication. A significant positive (+) effect size was found with four criteria (3, 4, 10, and 12), all of which are classified as cognitive criteria. However, contrary to the underlying assumption for CBCA, criterion 18, classified as one of the motivational criteria, showed a significant negative (-) effect size. Meanwhile, moderator analyses were possible for eleven criteria (2~9, 12, 13, 15) and the results showed the significant effects of potential moderator variables such as the gender and status of the participants, study types and designs, number of raters, and publication status. The current results suggests that more careful attention is required to each criterion-especially the cognitive criteria-rather than the total CBCA score as well as the possible moderator effects in order to assess truthfulness of the statements. The implication, limitations, and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
Class has been the factor that affects welfare attitudes in western societies. But the results of the studies on affects of class in Korea are not consistent. This Study focuses on the relations between three class variables-income, status in employment, occupation-and the Korean attitudes on welfare policy and examines the regulating effects of education on that. Attitudes on welfare policy consist of 'reinforcement of established welfare programs', 'expansion into new welfare area' and 'universalism in welfare policy.' The result shows that all three class variables, education and age do not affect the attitudes to 'reinforcement of established welfare programs.' Age and class variables affects the attitudes to 'expansion into new welfare area' statistically, but education does not. Education explains largest parts of the attitudes to 'universalism in welfare policy.'

This study examined the relationships among stress, childhood traumatic experience, ego-resilience, and life satisfaction of university students to explore the moderating effects of ego-resilience on those variables. The survey participants were 459 university students in Gyeonggi province. The collected data were analyzed using frequency, Pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression, and moderated multiple regression by SPSS. The results were as follows. Stress, childhood traumatic experience and ego resilience had correlations with the life satisfaction. Ego resilience and stress were significant effective variables on the life satisfaction. Moderated multiple regression analysis also showed that a positive future orientation, which is a sub factor of ego-resilience, influenced the stress level. Based on these findings, it is important to lower the stress levels to increase the students' life satisfaction level. To do so, a strategy to enhance the positive future orientation is recommended.
Background: The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating effect of resilience and social support to analyze that call center consultants' emotional labor impacts on the burnout. Methods: A survey questionnaire was conducted to people who work at call center in Gwangju and Deagu. The data from 444 were analyzed. Results: The result from the hierarchical multiple regression is as follows. First, deep acting decreased burnout, but surface acting of emotional labor increased burnout. Also, frequency of emotion display, variety of emotion required to be expressed and attentiveness to required display rules increased burnout. Second, Resilience had moderating effect between deep acting and burnout. Third, the moderate effect of interaction of social support from leader with surface action was found at burnout. Also, moderating effect of social support from leader were shown in frequency of emotion display with burnout and attentiveness to required display rules with burnout. Fourth, social support from colleague did not have buffering effect on emotional labor and burnout. Conclusions: It is expected that the moderator variables identified in this study can be used for prevention and treatment of burnout caused by emotional labor.

This study aimed to analyze the moderated effects of mathematics test-preparation strategies in the relation between elementary school students' epistemological beliefs about mathematics and test anxiety. The moderated effects were tested by using structural equation modeling with the Ping's two-step approach. The subjects were 810 6th graders (411 male, 399 female) from 13 elementary schools situated in G Metropolitan City. Tests for epistemological beliefs about mathematics, test anxiety, and mathematics test-preparation strategies were used as measurement scales. The results of this study were as follows. The moderated effects of mathematics test-preparation strategies in the relation between epistemological beliefs about mathematics and test anxiety were statistically significant. Higher level of epistemological belief about mathematics were linked to lower level of test anxiety, while lower level of epistemological belief about mathematics led to an increased influence of test-preparation strategies levels on test anxiety. Students who had higher levels of epistemological belief about mathematics displayed lower level of test anxiety when using high levels of test-preparation strategies. Students who scored lower in the epistemological belief about mathematics had lower level of test anxiety when employing low levels of test-preparation strategies. Therefore, to lower the level of test anxiety among elementary students, the intervention program need to consider the appropriate levels of test-preparation strategies in accordance with each student's level of epistemological belief about mathematics.
