This paper introduces a manufacturing facility visualization system for the monitoring of smart factories. With the development of technology and the emergence of such terms as the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Industry 4.0, technologies for smart factories are becoming more important. A Manufacturing Execution System that can improve productivity and help decision making by monitoring production plants in real-time is one of the key technologies for smart factories. The application of digital twin technology for more accurate monitoring technology is also an important issue. However, digital twin implementations require an integrated infrastructure that can integrate facility data from multiple manufacturers. Therefore, this paper designs and develops a visualization program that can verify real-time information of facilities using data collection system based on international standard protocol for heterogeneous collection and monitoring of facility data. This allows a factory to consolidate equipment data from multiple manufacturers and to view them in real-time.

This study explored the moderating effects of security ability on the influence of privacy concerns on internet activity using Korea media panel survey data. To this end, we applied between-subjects factorial design between 2 (privacy concern high / low) × 2 (security ability high / low) groups and compared five types of internet activity among four groups by variance analysis. As a result, privacy concerns have a main effect on internet activity, and security ability have a moderating role in this relationship. Despite the privacy concerns, people do their internet activities in order to enjoy the benefit from the internet. This study have academic implication in that it focus on the issue of privacy paradox in terms of the type of internet activity. In addition, practical implications are that, in order to activate online activities of individuals in an internet-connected society, efforts for enhancing their security abilities are necessary.
This study aimed was done to analyze recent trends in nursing research published in the Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing by focusing on the content of nursing interventions and their level of evidence. Methods: A total of 209 studies published between 2007 and 2008 were reviewed using analysis criteria developed by the researchers. Results: The number of quantitative studies was greater than that of qualitative studies. There was a slight increase in the number of qualitative studies and studies including elderly populations, which reflects the recent population trend in Korea. More randomized controlled trials with a low risk of bias were needed to support more evidence-based nursing practice. Concerning the low rate of ethical consideration, stricter application of research ethics needs to be encouraged. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest the recent trends in nursing research and the direction of nursing research and review in the Journal.
Intelligence of collaborative environments starts from a trial to provide optimal services to with users based on real-time information about participants and environments of the collaboration itself. Up to now, we can collect information such as temperature, light, time, each participant's gestures, faces, voices, and locations by adopting ubiquitous computing technologies. However, since social relationship is intrinsic to collaborative activities, the relationships and roles among participants should be fully considered to provide optimal services. To do so, we have to integrate collected data from various sensors and extracted data about relationships and roles among participants as unified one context. Thus, this paper designs collaborative services filtered, by using the integrated data as a context, and introduces an implemented example, context-aware based interactive display service, called as smart meeting system (SMeet system).

We have designed local exposure systems for long-time mice experiments in PCS and cellular frequency band(PCS: 1,762.5 MHz, cellular: 848.5 MHz). The fabricated systems are local exposure systems of carousel type, and 40 mice can be exposed at a time. In order not to give extra stress to the mice ender experiment, the systems were fabricated to meet the environmental conditions such as illumination, ventilation, noise etc. SAR measurement was performed using a temperature probe. Measurements at 3 points in the head of mouse cadaver and solid phantom were made, and it has been confirmed that the measurement results are in good agreement with the simulation results in the real exposure environment. The exposure systems are currently used for long-term mice experiments.
In the past, explosives like dynamite was used to blast rock. However, today it is difficult to use explosives in urban blastinglike excavation for subway, building, and housing land. According to Korea Department of Construction and Transportation's proposal for blasting design manual and test blasting, from TYPE I blasting to TYPE IV blasting are recommended when we determine 0.3cm/sec(centisec) as a maximum allowable ground vibration with a distance between $25m\~120m$ from structures. This article was written to introduce one of TYPE I (reck blasting within 25m from structures) blasting method, Nano-Plasma blasting method. When Nano-Plasma blasting method is applied in urban blasting job, ground vibration (15m away from blasting point) is expected 0.1cm/sec, which is only half of a ground vibration when low ground vibration blasting method is applied. By this unique characteristic, Nano-Plasma blasting method is epochal urban blasting technique.

In this study, it was investigated about optical simulation in high brightness and high uniformity general lighting using glass light guide plate. And we adopt edge-light emission type light plate. Edge-light type lighting has been used LCD application, especially note PC or smart phone backlight unit. Because it had the good properties such as slim shape and light weight. We thought this type was suitable for general lighting application such as wall attached type or ceiling mount type. But many of edge-light type lighting had problems. It called slanted output light rays. That was main key parameter how could control the direction of output light rays. We investigated the solution of this problems, using ray tracing method, we recognized the major fact of the solution relied on the geometric structure of diffusing dot shape. We set the conditions of aspect ratio in diffusing dot shape such as 0.5 to 1. And, at first, we designed diffusing dots shape based on the results of optical simulation and made specimen. as above condition, and acquired good result in confirming dots shape such as the value of the output rays's peak angle was around 75 degrees. And good light distribution characteristics were measured by slated spectro-radiometer. It was shown that the effective ways of designing light distribution characteristics using optical simulation such as ray tracing linear method for making general lighting using glass light guide plate.

In this paper, the intelligent smart monitor system is implemented for the next generation vehicle. to mitigate the numerous effects of distractions within the vehicle, it is vital to put critical information where the driver can use it without affection focus on the road ahead. Audible alarms are useful supplements when used in conjunction with visual displays. But driving is an overwhelmingly visual task. To optimize a vehicle's active safety systems, more than just audible alarms are necessary. The driver needs a visual interface that focuses his or her attention on the road ahead. The most commonly viewed information in a vehicle is from the instrument cluster, where speed, tachometer, fuel, engine temperature, fuel gauge, turn indicators and warning lights provide the driver with an array of fundamental information. TFT LCD, LCD Back light led, plane mirror, lens and controllers parts were designed to intelligent integrated smart monitor system. Finally, in this paper, we analyze intelligent integrated smart monitor system for driver safety vehicles.

In the recent year, along with the rapid development of LED technology, many applications using LEDs have been researched and indoor positioning is one of them. In particular, previous indoor positioning systems based on visible light communication combine triangulation manner such as AoA, ToA TDoA. But most of them needs transmitting unique ID of each LED panel. In this paper, we propose an non LED-ID based indoor positioning system in which the visible light radiated from LEDs is used to locate the position of receiver. Compared to current indoor positioning systems using LED light, our system has the advantages of simple implementation, low cost and high accuracy. Through the computer simulation, our system can achieve a high estimation accuracy of 3.6cm in average in the $5{\times}5{\times}3m^3$ room.

It is difficult to detect the accurate detection which leads the camera it moves follows in change of the noise or illumination and Also, it could be recognized with backgound if the object doesn't move during hours. In this paper, the proposed method is updating changed background image as much as N*M pixel mask as time goes on after get a difference between imput image and first background image. And checking image pixel can efficiently detect moving by computing fixed distance pixel instead of operate all pixel. Also, set up minimum area of object to use boundary point of object abstracted through checking image pixel and motion detect of object. Therefore motion detection is available as is fast and correct without doing checking image pixel every Dame. From experiment, the designed and implemented system showed high precision ratio in performance assessment more than 90 percents.
