Purpose To survey the perception, knowledge, wishes, and expectations of Korean radiology residents regarding artificial intelligence (AI) in radiology. Materials and Methods From June 4th to 7th, 2019, questionnaires comprising 19 questions related to AI were distributed to 113 radiology residents. Results were analyzed based on factors such as the year of residency and location and number of beds of the hospital. Results A total of 101 (89.4%) residents filled out the questionnaire. Fifty (49.5%) respondents had studied AI harder than the average while 68 (67.3%) had a similar or higher understanding of AI than the average. In addition, the self-evaluation and knowledge level of AI were significantly higher for radiology residents at hospitals located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do compared to radiology residents at hospitals located in other regions. Furthermore, the self-evaluation and knowledge level of AI were significantly lower in junior residents than in residents in the 4th year of training. Of the 101 respondents, only 16 (15.8%) had experiences in AI-related study while 91 (90%) were willing to participate in AI-related study in the future. Conclusion Organizational efforts through a radiology society would be needed to meet the need of radiology trainees for AI education and to promote the role of radiologists more adequately in the era of medical AI.

(사)한국포장협회가 제11회 한용교포장인상 수상자를 선정, 발표하고 2월 25일 포장인의 날 행사에서 시상식을 가졌다. 국내 유일의 순수 포장인을 대상으로 하는 "제11회 한용교 포장인상" 수상자는 연구개발부문 김흥연(율촌화학(주) ENG팀 부장),김준봉((주)화승인더스트리 기술연구소 연구2팀 계장), 추임호(대한잉크(주) 기술연구소 과장), 장학생부문 최민석(연세대학교 패키지장학3년), 고건우(경북과학대학 패키징매니지먼트 1년), 윤효진(용인송담대학 유통학부(포장전공) 1년) 등 6명이며 수출진흥, 생산.품질관리, 경영, 영업분야는 수상자를 내지 못해 아쉬움을 남겼다. 한용교포장인상은 (사)한국포장협회 초대회장이 국내 포장산업에 종사하고 있는 모든 포장인들을 대상으로 긍지와 신념을 갖게 하고 연구의욕 고취로 국내 포장분야 발전과 포장산업 세계화의 조기정착을 복적으로 기금을 마련, 96년 10월에 제정됐다. 본 고에서는 수상자들의 활약상을 살펴본다.

This study was conducted to compare the dietary habits, nutrient intake and health status of female college students at Sahmyook University according to their majors. Specifically, women majoring in literature and science (77), food and nutrition (103) and sport (73) were evaluated. College women in the sports department were more likely to have a part-time job and had greater expenses than women in the other departments. The average height of college women in the sports department (164.3${\pm}$4.6 cm) was 2.04 cm taller than that of women with other majors (162.3${\pm}$4.7 cm). College women in the department of literature and science were more likely to have an unbalanced diet, even though they commonly ate small amounts of fruit as snacks. They were more prone to take nutrient tablets and vitamins when compared to women in the other departments. College women in the department of sport were more likely to have unbalanced meals (31.5%) and to overeat. Students in the department of food and nutrition ate more fruit, vitamin C and E but less cholesterol containing foods (p<0.05), less fast food and fried food than students in the other departments. The subjects in the department of sport ate less bread, sweet potatoes, fast foods and fried foods but more calories, fat, vitamin A, vitamin B, niacin, Ca, P and cholesterol than students in the other departments (p<0.05). They were also more likely to exercise for more than two hours a day. The most common problems among college women were going without meals, eating an unbalanced diet, overeating, intake of ill-balanced nutrients and lack of exercise. It was found that college women in the department of sport had a better intake of nutrients and maintained healthier life styles.

In this study, we investigated the recognition of the first aid of guard major college students are trained to deal well and flexibly to the situation of unforeseen circumstances, you are trying to present the teaching methods and effective importance of first aid. Analysis of data collected in this study is as follows: The results obtained using the statistical program SPSS18.0. First, education has not been done properly, there is no difference between the average score of people who did not receive the people who received the fact of first aid veritable we are specialized in, the second education systematic is needed, training of first aid has not been properly implemented, problems of education there were many. Third, because there is no difference in the level of knowledge by training institutions of first aid, the places where there is training of first aid, there is no effect on the knowledge level. Therefore, it can be the need training first aid practical to enhance the ability to proactively address the situation of contingencies.

Lithium metal anode with the highest theoretical capacity to replace graphite anodes are being reviewed. However, the dendrite growth during repeated oxidation/reduction reaction on lithium metal surface, which results in poor cycle performance and safety issue has hindered its successful implementation. In our previous work, we solved this problem by using surface modification technique whereby a surface pattern on lithium metal anode is introduced. Although the micro-patterned Lithium metal electrode is beneficial to control Li metal deposition efficiently, it is difficult to control the mossy-like Li granulation at high current density ($>2.0mA\;cm^{-2}$). In this study, we introduce vinylene carbonate (VC) electrolyte additive on micro patterned lithium metal anode to suppress the lithium dendrite growth. Owing to the synergetic effect of micro-patterned lithium metal anode and VC electrolyte additive, lithium dendrite at a high current density is dense. As a result, we confirmed that the cycle performance was further improved about 6 times as compared with the reference electrode.

The purpose of this study was to compare the personality types between pediatric and other dental residents. 77 pediatric dental residents and 71 other dental residents in Korea were surveyed by Myers-Briggs Type Indicator questionnaire. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) had 4 personality dichotomies consisting of 2 opposite characteristics that were extraversion / introversion, sensing / intuition, thinking / feeling, and judging / perception. Combinations of these four dichotomies could make 16 personality types. The percentage of pediatric dental residents was higher in sensing and judging, but there were no statistically differences. The majority of personal type was ISTJ in both groups. Statistical significance observed only in gender. The ratio of thinking was higher in male than in female (p < 0.05). The meaning of this study was the first survey performed on the personality types between pediatric dental residents and other dental residents in Korea. Further study with pre-survey orientation and increased sample size should proceed.

Wassily Leontief가 미국 경제의 모델에 선형 대수를 적용한 이론으로 1973년에 노벨 경제학상을 받은 후로는 인문${\cdot}$사회 과학(특히 상경(商經) 분야)을 전공하는 사람에게도 선형 대수는 큰 관심 분야가 되었다. 그래서 1980년대 부터는 대학의 기초 과목으로써 선형 대수를 가르치는 것은 유행처럼 퍼졌고 또 가르침에 관한 연구도 활발하여졌다. 현행 우리나라의 초${\cdot}$중${\cdot}$고등 학교의 수학과 교육과정(이른바 “제 7차 개정”) 속에는 선형대수의 내용이 어느 정도 있으나 학생들에게 확실한 개념을 갖도록 가르치고 있지 않다. 수직선, 순서 쌍, n-겹수, 직교 좌표, 벡터 등 해석기하적인 내용과 선형 방정식계의 풀이법(가우스${\cdot}$조르단 소거법을 쓰지 않는 풀이법) 등 일반 대수적인 내용은 다루지만 선형 변환, 벡터 공간의 구조 등은 다루지 않는다. m${\sim}$n 행렬은 수학II에 나와 있긴 하나 소개하는 정도에 그친다. 한편 과학 계열 고등학교 학생을 위한 "고급 수학"에는 비교적 많은 양의 선형 대수의 내용이 있다. 일반 계열 고등학교의 수학에서도 선형 대수의 내용을 확장하고 학생들에게 확실한 개념을 갖도록 가르쳐서 이들이 대학에 진학하여 전공 분야에서 아무 어려움이 없도록 하는 것이 바람직하다.

외국어학습의 성공여부는 학습자의 강한 동기유발에 달렸는데, 현재 우리나라에서는 영어학습의 강세에 밀려 프랑스어를 포함한 제 2 외국어 학습 열의가 점차 사라져 가고 있는 실정이다. 각 대학에 프랑스어를 전공하는 학과가 존재하는 한, 프랑스어 교육은 계속되어질 것이나, 과거와는 달리 고등학교에서 프랑스어의 기초를 배우고 대학의 프랑스어 학과에 입학하는 학생의 수가 점차 줄어들고 있다. 또한 현재의 대학 입시 제도가 학생들의 학과에 대한 적성 여부와 상관없이 수능성적 결과 점수에 따라 학과를 정하게 되므로 처음부터 프랑스어를 배우고자 하는 동기가 결여된 상태에서 전공 언어 학습을 시작하게 된다. 프랑스어를 가르치면서 현장에서 가장 고심하게 되는 문제는 첫째 학생들에게 어떻게 하면 프랑스어에 대한 흥미를 유발시킬 수 있는가 하는 점이고, 둘째로는 대학 4년이라는 짧은 기간 동안 어떻게 하면 정확한 프랑스어를 학습시킬 수 있는가 하는 것이다. 충북 괴산의 시골마을에서 개신농장의 대표로 제2의 인생을 펼치고 있는 40대 축산명인 이윤구 대표. 이 대표는 대학에서 축산학을 전공하고 도드람양돈에서 2년 7개월 동안 근무한 경력을 바탕으로 양돈사업을 시작하였다. 당시 30대의 청년농부로 축산인의 길에 들어선 이 대표는 수없는 시행착오를 거치면서도 끊임없는 도전을 무기삼아 오늘에 이르렀다. 양돈사업 경력 13년차의 베테랑 이윤구 대표의 축산경영을 둘러보았다.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the awareness, interest, and needs of the occupational therapy students for the dementia care center. Methods : We conducted an online questionnaire survey of 492 occupational therapy students nationwide from July 1 to 31, 2018. General characteristics and perceptions, interests and needs were analyzed by descriptive statistics. One way ANOVA and chi-square test were conducted to compare the differences between the items according to grade and age. Results : Lower awareness was found in National Responsibility for Dementia($2.61{\pm}1.0$), Dementia Care Center($2.84{\pm}0.9$) and role of an occupational therapist in the Dementia Care Center($2.94{\pm}0.9$) of the occupational therapy students. Interest to the employment was investigated between middle and high($3.42{\pm}0.9$). Education was not sufficient($2.98{\pm}0.8$), and the adequacy of fieldwork was moderate($3.07{\pm}0.8$). Conclusion : The results of this study can be served as basic data for enhancing competence as a specialist in the dementia care center. Also, it is expected to be a help to raise awareness of the occupational therapy students.
