A Study on Implement of Smart Battery Management System using Embedded Processor (임베디드 프로세서를 이용한 스마트 배터리 관리 시스템 구현에 대한 연구)

  • Recently portable mobile devices such as smart-phones and notebooks have rapidly increasing demands. Those devices consume more power because they are expected to offer more complex functionality including multimedia features. For these reasons engineering efforts are changing to focus on maximizing energy efficiency within a limited battery capacity instead of increasing computational performance. In this paper, we propose a battery management system using event driven programming technique on a embedded processor. We also show that the proposed system satisfies SBS (Smart Battery Specification) v1.1. The proposed system maintains minimum code size and memory size comparing to those of RTOSs. The proposed system can be also easily incorporated in the conventional RTOSs as a form of firmware.

  • According to ISO/IEC 9000, quality to satisfy users' requirements when using the product or service is defined as the characteristics of the synthesized concept. Secure web application coding information systems with the reliability and quality of service is one of the determining factor. Secure coding in order to achieve the quality based on the model is necessary. The reason is that the security is in quality properties in the range of non-functional requirements that necessitates. Secure coding for the design of quality systems based on the quality of the definition of quality attributes, quality requirements, quality attribute scenarios are defined, and must be set. To this end, referring to IEEE 1061 quality model for web application, quality model structure is developed. Secure web application architecture design is composed of coding quality of the model systems, web applications draw interest to stakeholders, decision drivers secure coding architecture, quality attributes, eliciting quality requirements of the security settings, creating web application architecture descriptions and security framework.

  • This paper is about l00[W] discrete LED floodlight lighting system, light color and color temperature to be controlled using the 3[W] RGBA LED, is developed the product with optical, heat dissipation, circuit, luminaire and system design. The result, color temperature is changed corresponding to black body locus from 2,000[K] to 10,000[K] and The Color Rendering Index(C.R.I) is achieved from 71 to 91 by high C.RI. Driving voltage is $90{\sim}250[Vac]$, circuit efficiency is 87[%], P.F is more than 93. moreover the LED lens is designed to achieve narrow, middle, wide beam angle, heat dissipation design is executed to minimize variation of luminous output by the surroundings temperature and to ensure reliability.

  • In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of the Label Distribution Protocol (LDP) for Multiprotocol Label Switching System. We review the implementation issues of LDP that is required to make a gigabit switched router, and propose a detail design of it. We present the data structures and procedures for the LDP as a result, which are based on IETF standard. We present design issues for applying this to carrier class products. The implemented protocol could afford 40,000 entries of the IP routing table that is required for deploying this system to commercialized data network. Furthermore this system implemented using the standard API of Unix, as a result, it has portability. By implementing LDP based on the international standard and these implementation issues, we expect that the implemented LDP will be interoperable with other commercialized products. We prove the validity of the design of the LDP through prototyping, and also verify the prototype with the specification using the process algebra and the performance analysis.

  • Mobile RFID system, that consists of the existing RFID reader mounted on the mobile devices such as smartphones, is able to provide the users a variety of services and convenience. Although the users can get the information about a certain product anytime anywhere, there is high probability that their privacy may be violated because their belongings with RFID tags can be scanned by other mobile readers at any time. Several RFID authentication schemes have been proposed to deal with these privacy issues. However, since the existing solutions require heavy computation on the tag side, most of them is not applicable to the general low-cost passive tags which do not have any processing unit. In this paper, we propose the efficient authentication scheme for mobile RFID system applicable to the passive tags as well as the active ones by the best use of computing capability of mobile devices. The proposed scheme satisfies the import security issues such as tag protection, untraceability, anti-traffic analysis. We also implement the proposed scheme on top of real smartphone for feasibility and show the experimental results from it.

  • A new high performance and low cost unified power system is proposed through investigating conventional Power-Integrated Drive(PID) system and Power-Separated Drive(PSD) system applied to LCD TV. Since the proposed system consists of two stage, namely power and inverter stage it features high efficiency and cost effectiveness. To satisfy the safety standard of the High voltage transformer, 1:1 transformer is employed between inverter and high voltage transformer. Moreover, to ensure the Zero Voltage Switching(ZVS) of all power switches and the Pulse Count Modulation(PCM) method is employed, which controls the number of pulse at the fixed frequency and fixed duty cycle. Therefore, it features high efficiency, improved heat generation, cost effectiveness and good EMI performance including no additional current balancing coil. To confirm the validity of proposed system, comparison of conventional system, verification of experimental results are presented.

  • 폴리머 애자용 shed 재료의 전기방전에 대한 열화내성과 표면이 오염된 조건하에서도 우수한 발수성 유지는 제품의 장기성능에 있어서 가장 중요한 인자들이다. 내트래킹성 확보를 위한 보강재로는 ATH가 주로 사용되고 있으며 ATH의 첨가량이 많을 수록 내트래킹성은 대체로 향상되는 것으로 되어 있다. 그러나 애자 제조시 무결점 성형성의 만족이 대단히 중요하기 때문에 ATH를 고충진하는 경우 사용하는 process oil들의 종류 및 첨가량을 고려한 ATH 첨가량의 최적화는 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 ATH를 170 part로 다량으로 첨가하면서 화학적 구조와 점도가 다른 몇 가지 실리콘 fliud들을 사용하여 무결점 성형에 적합한 가소도를 갖는 컴파운드를 제조하여 기본물성과 초고압 옥외절연물의 shed 재료로서 장기성능에 영향을 주는 방전열화내성과 표면발수성의 회복특성을 평가하였다. 컴파운드의 성형작업성과 관련이 큰 가소도는 fluid 점도에 따라 상당한 차이를 보이므로 실리콘 fluid 종류의 선택과 첨가량의 최적화에는 성형작업성, 발수성 회복특성, 열화내성 등의 고려가 필요하다. 무결점 애자성형을 위한 진공 사출에서 고무 컴파운드의 가소도가 중요한데 동일한 ATH첨가조건에서 일정한 가소도를 갖게 하는데 필요한 양은 fluid들의 종류에 따라서 상당한 차이가 있었다. 코로나 처리후 발수성 회복특성은 fluid들의 분자크기와 반응기의 종류에 따라 상당히 영향을 받았으며 분자가 클수록 초기회복속도는 다소 느렸지만 평상시에 늘 유지되는 상시발수성은 다소 높게 유지되었다. 아크와 트래킹 방전에 의한 무게 감소는 ATH가 과량으로 첨가되어 상당히 적었으며 fluid의 분자가 크면서 페닐기를 가진 fluid들이 첨가된 고무가 우수한 특성을 보였다.

  • Treatment of Emulsion is very important to development of Bilge Separator for new IMO Regulation. It is too difficult to demulsify the emulsion in the bilge waste water, so we use chemical treatment to break emulsion stability. Broken oil particle is treated by flotation. Bilge Separator on the Ship doesn't have enough time to treat Bilge waste water because of small space in the ship. For the solution to this problem, we experiment to find primary factor as coagulator, pH, and amount of coagulator. As the basis of test, we decided coagulator, pH and quantity of coagulator.

  • Commercial Off the Shelf(COTS) Integrated circuits(ICs) are being increasingly considered for use in space and military applications. Therefore, There is a need to implement standard tests and requirements to ensure reliability of COTS ICs. This paper presents an overview of the ICs screen procedure and methods under the European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ECSS) and Tests Method Standard Microcircuits (MIL-STD-883). We describes the COTS ICs screen test guidelines that are mainly focused after encapsulating. In addition, COTS linear bipolar IC is investigated to evaluate the reliability requirements. The experiment results showed that COTS IC is satisfied with high reliability requirements.

  • In this paper, we were researched decision problem called an optimal release policies after testing a software system in development phase and transferring it to the user. The applied model of release time exploited infinite failure non-homogeneous Poisson process This infinite failure non-homogeneous Poisson process is a model which reflects the possibility of introducing new faults when correcting or modifying the software. The failure life-cycle distribution used the Weibull distribution which has the efficient various property which has the place efficient quality. Thus, optimal software release policies which minimize a total average software cost of development and maintenance under the constraint of satisfying a software reliability requirement becomes an optimal release policies. In a numerical example, after trend test applied and estimated the parameters using maximum likelihood estimation of inter-failure time data, estimated software optimal release time.
