  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect on self-efficacy in the effect of the compensation system of caregivers on job satisfaction. The research method was analyzed with SPSS V22.0 on the data of 367 people surveyed of caregivers working at home welfare facilities and elderly care facilities in the metropolitan area. The result is as follows. First, it was found that the average monthly salary, satisfaction of compensation treatment, and fairness of compensation had a positive effect on job satisfaction in the compensation system of caregivers. Second, in the compensation system for care givers, it was found that monthly average salary, satisfaction with compensation treatment, and compensation process had a positive effect on self-efficacy. Third, it was found that the self-efficacy of caregivers had a positive effect on job satisfaction. Fourth, in the compensation system of caregivers, it was found that the monthly average salary, compensation treatment satisfaction, and compensation process had an effect on job satisfaction, whereas self-efficacy had a positive mediating effect. It revealed that the higher the average monthly salary, compensation treatment satisfaction, and compensation process in the caregiver's compensation system, the more positively the self-efficacy had, and this self-efficacy had a positive effect on the job satisfaction of the caregiver.

The purpose is to provide theoretical and practical information for promotion. The main results of this study are as follows. First, the activity of infant temperament was found to have a positive effect on infant happiness. Second, the adaptability, activity, and approach-avoidance of children's temperament were found to have a positive effect on playability. Third, the physiological regularity of infant temperament was found to have a positive effect on self-regulation. Fourth, playfulness and self-regulation were found to have a positive effect on children's happiness. Fifth, playfulness was found to play a mediating role between infant temperament adaptability, activity, approach avoidance, and happiness. Sixth, self-regulation was found to play a mediating role between the physiological regularity of infant temperament and infant happiness. In conclusion, this study can improve children's happiness by analyzing the direct effects on children's happiness, playfulness, and self-regulation according to the sub-factors of children's temperament, and the indirect influence of the mediating variables, playability and self-regulation, on children's happiness. It is meaningful in providing theoretical and practical basic data for early childhood care and education by understanding what direction there is.

It was conducted to measure social support, social stigma, hope and quality of life from 197 HIV-infected people. Data collection was carried out through one-on-one interviews by counselling nurse. The mediating effect was analyzed through Structure Equation Model using AMOS 21.0 program and indirect effect was analyzed by bootstrapping method. As a result of analysis, first, social support had a significant positive effect on quality of life. But social stigma had a significant negative effect on quality of life. Second, social support had a significant positive effect on hope. But social stigma had a significant negative effect on hope. Third, hope had significant mediating effect within the influence of social support and social stigma on quality of life. It is suggested to develop and apply comprehensive intervention program for improve quality of life of HIV infected people in community.

  • This study attempts to examine the moderating effect of religiosity in the relationship between religion and secular giving behavior (absolute amount and philanthropic effort). For the analysis, this study utilizes 'Giving Korea 2012' by the Beautiful Foundation and employs Tobit regression model. Focusing on giving amount, major findings are that (1) Protestants and Catholics give greater amounts for secular cause than those with no religious affiliation; and (2) interaction between Protestants and religiosity and interaction between Catholics and religiosity have significant relationships with citizens' secular giving amount in a positive direction. Focusing on philanthropic effort (giving amount divided by family income), major findings are that (1) there is no significant relationship between religion types and citizens' philanthropic effort and (2) interaction between Protestants and religiosity and interaction between Catholics and religiosity have significant relationships with citizens'philanthropic effort in a positive direction. This study provides new knowledge foundation on citizens' secular giving behavior and contributes to developing effective fundraising strategies of nonprofit organizations on religion-related donor markets.

The analysis results show that stress had overall negative effects on the school adjustment of children from multicultural families and also on their stress coping behavior and social competence. For the indirect effects, both their stress coping behavior and social competence had positive indirect effects on their school adjustment. Stress did not have significant direct effects on their school adjustment. These findings suggest that stress coping behavior and social competence have full mediating effects between their stress and school adjustment. These findings highlight the need for directions of school education and various program interventions to improve the stress coping and social adjustment competence of children from multicultural families, offering practical implications to enhance their school adjustment.

  • The major effective of this study is to investigate the fatigue effects of rail pad on High Speed Railway with concrete slab track system. It analyzed the mechanical behaviors of HSR concrete slab track with applying rail pad stiffness based on fatigue effect (hardening and increasing stiffness) on the 3-dimensional FE analysis and laboratory test for static & dynamic characteristics. As a result, the hardening of rail pad due to fatigue loading condition are negative effect for the static & dynamic response of concrete stab track which is before act on fatigue effect. The analytical and experimental study are carried out to investigate rail pad on fatigue effected increase vertical acceleration and stress and decrease suitable deflection on slab track. And rail pad based on fatigue effect induced dynamic maximum stresses, the increase of damage of slab track is predicted by adopting fatigue effected rail pad. after due consideration. The servicing HSR concrete slab track with resilient track system has need of the reasonable determination after due consideration fatigue effect of rail pad stiffness which could be reducing the effect of static and dynamic behavior that degradation phenomenon of structure by an unusual response characteristic and a drop durability.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of family strength as a parameter on the relationship between grit, and learning satisfaction of university students. The grit scale, family strength scale and learning satisfaction scale were applied to data from surveys conducted on 194 students recruited from a university in G gun, C province. This study examined the mediating effects of family strength in relation to grit and learning satisfaction using the hierarchical regression analysis. Results showed that family strength had partial mediating effects in the between grit and learning satisfaction. Therefore, it seems that grit directly and indirectly affect learning satisfaction through family strength. This result indicates that the importance of family strength for learning satisfaction and suggest that family strength should be included in developing learning satisfaction improvement programs.
