A Study on the Education of Library Management in Library and Information Science (문헌정보학의 도서관경영 분야 교육에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to reveal the problems of the education of library management area in library and information science and to seek possible methods for solving the problems. It was revealed that the number of subjects of library management area was often changed by the influence of information science. It was also disclosed that the education of library management does not satisfy what the librarians' demand. The study provides the following suggestions for the better education of library management: first, the establishment of the standardization of library and information science curriculum which includes the provision of the number, title and contents of the subjects of library management and secondly, close cooperation with librarians when opening new subjects of library management area.

일본의 고등학교 수학 교육과정과 확률통계 교육

  • 본 연구에서는 2003년부터 시행된 일본 고등학교 학습지도요령의 수학과 구성과 성격을 연구하였다. 또한, 교육과정상의 확률통계교육의 구성과 성격 및 편제에 대하여 고찰한 결과, 새 교육과정에 따른 교과위주의 교육과정의 구성과 내용 및 편제의 특징은 통합학습시간 신설로 미국식 주제 교육의 도입, 완전학교 주 5 일제실시, 중고 일관교육, 단위제 고등학교학교 신설, 종합 학교의 설치로 설명된다. 확률통계 교육의 내용과 범위는 과거 교육과정과 크게 달라진 점은 없으나, 7교과 분야 가운데 3 교과 부분에 자료 위주의 실용통계계산 교육과 통계소프트웨어교육 강화가 그 특징이다.

The Changes in the Curricula of the Departments of Library and Information Science (문헌정보학과 학부 교과과정의 변화)

  • The purpose of this paper is to trace the changes in the curricula of the Departments of Library and Information Science in the past fifty years. Under the assumption that the education for librarians is supposed to be changed by the influences of the various surroundings, the curricula in the 1960s, 1980s and 2000s of the Departments are analyzed. The past data were collected by literature searches and the present ones on the homepages. It was found out that there have been many changes along with constancies in the curricula. The results are interpreted and some recommendations are suggested.

Analytical Research on Changes of Library and Information Science Education in China (중국 문헌정보학 교육에 대한 변화분석 연구)

  • With the objective of analyzing changes in the education and curriculum of library and information science in China, this study conducts the following analyses. First, with respect to library and information science education, this study analyzed changes in terms of library and information science departments and majors being offered for undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and post-doctoral training institutions from 2001 to 2012. Also, this study examined and analyzed colleges, areas, years of establishments and characteristics of 25 colleges that offers library and information science major. Second, with respect to library and information science curriculum, this study analyzed changes in the curricula of 1997 and 2006, while using China Education Ministry's 2003 main curricula of library science major as criteria and analyzed changes and characteristics of 2012 library and information science curricula of Wuhan University and Beijing University.

  • 디지털 소양의 용어는 2022 개정 교육과정에서 새롭게 다루어지는 개념이다. 그동안은 디지털 소양의 의미를 담은 다양한 용어들이 각 교과 특성에 맞게 혼재되어 사용되어 왔다. 하지만 2022 개정 교육과정에서는 모든 교과에서 디지털 소양을 다룰 것을 강조하고 있기 때문에 각 교과와의 개념에 대한 합의가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 2015 개정 교육과정의 초등 각 교과에서는 디지털 소양과 관련된 어떤 용어들이 사용되어왔는지 분석해보고자 한다.

Exploration of Information Subject-centered Curriculum Integration Strategies for 21st Century Key Competencies Extension (21세기 핵심역량 신장을 위한 정보교과 중심의 통합 교육과정 전략 탐색)

  • Recently as the focal point of interdisciplinary integration of learner's key competencies have been increased, it was the real solution to avoid excessive curriculum and reconfiguration of curriculum to provide actual learning opportunities. The purpose of this paper was to investigate information subject-centered inclusive education strategies for 21st century key competencies extension by Delphi study. As a result by a total 3 round Delphi method, information subject-centered curriculum integration for key competencies extension was to understand why they should be integrated and what can makes it com true. This elicited the consensual agreements of experts about information subject-centered curriculum integration aims, methods, contents, and evaluations ets. As a result, this study offers strategies of information subject-centered curriculum integration applicable to elementary and middle schools.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the information literacy curriculum of school library in the USA. The write, to understand the characteristics and principles of information literacy curriculum, analyzes national standards and some state curricula for information literacy education. Finally, through presenting a couple of lessons which were organized based on the information literacy curriculum, drawing out some strategies for development of information literacy curriculum for school library education in Korea.

  • The identity of a subject could be established by justifying the educational value of the subject from various angles. Despite the huge necessity of information subject as one of basic disciplines, it cannot be said that the subject is considered valuable as a school subject. Even though that is selected as part of the revised curriculum and has textbooks of its own, it's actually disregarded in school education. The purpose of this study was to discuss the value of information literary subject as part of academic education in conjunction with computer science education, and to shed light on the value and objects of it as a school subject based on the characteristics of computer science education.

Comparisons of Information Education Curriculum and Contents of Local Textbooks at Elementary Schools in Korea and China (우리나라와 중국 초등학교의 정보교육 교육과정과 지역 교과서 내용 비교)

  • According to the 2015 revised curriculum, the software education was provided to elementary school education in Korea. In Korea, information education became a necessary education. However, in Korea elementary school, information education is still not operated as an independent subject. This study examines the information education curriculum and information education textbook contents at the national level of Korea and China. The implications of this study can help establish the direction of information education in Korea.

A Comparative Analysis on External System of Software Education Unit in Practical Arts Textbooks based on 2015 Revised National Curriculum (2015 개정 실과 교과서 소프트웨어 교육 단원의 외적 체제 비교 분석)

  • 2019학년도 초등학교 5-6학년군에 2015 개정 교육과정이 전면 적용된다. 본 논문에서는 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 실과 검정 교과서 6종 소프트웨어 교육 단원의 외적 체제를 비교 분석하였다. 단원 체제 분석 결과 모든 교과서에 공통적으로 대단원명, 대단원 차례, 중단원명, 본문텍스트, 본문삽화, 용어 설명, 단원 마무리 등이 제시되어 있었다. 단원 구성 분석 결과 소프트웨어 교육 단원은 전체 교과서 분량의 18.8~25%까지 교과서별로 다양한 비율을 차지하고 있었다. 후속 연구로는 본 논문에서 다룬 교과서의 외적 체제 뿐 아니라 내적 체제 까지를 포함하여 각 교과서의 소프트웨어 교육 단원을 전체적인 틀에서 비교 분석 할 것이다.
