Elementary Students' Attitudes Toward Reading (초등학교 학생들의 독서태도에 관한 연구)

  • This study examined elementary students' reading attitudes to identify the state of feeling related to reading. For this, 523 elementary students from the forth to the sixth of 'model schools for reading' participated and completed questionnaires. The results show that the average score of reading attitudes was 3.8 out of 5, and there were differences between schools, gender and grade levels. Girls' reading attitudes were more positive than boys and sixth-grade students' reading attitudes were the most negative of all grades. The students' attitudes of the school which emphasized reading for pleasure were better than that of reading for academic achievement.

  • This study was conducted to get local residents' attitudes information and management information toward tourism impacts in Black Hills of South Dakota, U.S.A. It used Importance-Performance analysis to evaluate local residents' attitudes about the impacts of tourism. A total of 184 respondent data were used in this study. The return rate was 54%. 184 out of 340 questionnaires. Most respondents expressed high positive about the local economic impacts of tourism and environment impacts of tourism had not obvious negative on them. In 23 variables of tourism impacts there were a few significant differences in certain socioeconomic characteristics of the respondents as residence length and income. The results of Importance-Performance evaluation indicated useful future management decision information.

  • The purpose of this study is to find the relationship of academic self-efficacy, motivation, computer learning attitudes on the learning through game making activity. Through this study, it was confirmed structural relationship of the variables for learner's participant and academic goal achievement in learning with digital games. The structural equating model in this study, also indicates that academic self-efficacy, which was consisting of assignment level, self-efficacy, confidence affects meaningfully on motivation and computer learning attitudes. It is important factor that Learner's attitudes for the task and regulate of learning process in learning with digital games, which was focused on learning by doing.

  • For a place-recommendation model based on user's behavior and multi-attribute attitude in this thesis. We focus groups that show similar patterns of visiting restaurants and then compare one and the other. We make use of The Fishbein Equation, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient to calculate multi-attribute attitude scores. Furthermore, We also make use of Preference Prediction Algorithm and Distance based method named "Euclidean Distance" to provide accurate results. We can demonstrate how excellent this system is through several experiments carried out with actual data.

The Effects of Motivational Factors on the Intention to Contribute Knowledge to Online Communities (온라인 지식 커뮤니티에서의 지식기여 의도의 동기요인)

  • This study examined the intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors affecting the intention to contribute knowledge to online communities. It examined enjoyment, knowledge self-efficacy, and commitment as the intrinsic motivational factors, and anticipated reciprocity, image, and subjective norm as the extrinsic motivational factors. The results showed that intrinsic motivational factors, enjoyment and knowledge self-efficacy were found to have significant influences on attitudes towards knowledge contribution to online communities, but commitment was not. Of the extrinsic motivational factors, anticipated reciprocity was found to have a significant influence on attitudes toward knowledge contribution to online communities, but image and subjective norm were not.

  • In this paper, the security behaviors and attitudes related with the personal information of teenagers were investigated using empirical data based on rational behavior theory and protection motivation theory. An experiment for teenagers was conducted on Excel and the statistical packages (i.e., SPSS 21.0 and SmartPLS2.0.M3) to see how self-efficiency, security attitude, security intention and individual innovation affect their security behaviors. The experimental results showed that the security behaviors and attitudes of teenagers between internet and information devices are closely related, and the social influences can affect personal self-efficacy and security attitudes. Finally, we can know that teenagers should recognize the importance of security and protect their personal information safely through continuous education and training so that they can be linked to security behaviors.

  • 웹기반 경매사이트는 전자상거래시장을 대표할 만한 높은 수익성을 올리고있는 인터넷비지니스 수익모델이라고 할 수 있다. 현재 온라인경매를 사용하는 소비자는 경매사이트에서 제공하는 풍부한 정보의 양에 의존하여 전자상거래를 접하고 있다. 기존연구는 온라인 경매사이트의 제공자는 소비자의 입찰에 대한 태도와 참여 의도을 유인하기 위하여 온라인 경매 모델의 형태와 정보의 질에 집중하였던 것을 언급하고 있다. 온라인경매는 웹 인터페이스(Web Interface)를 활용하는 특징을 보유하고 있다. 그러므로, 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인요인은 온라인경매에서 매출액 신장과 입찰에 대한 태도와 입찰 참여 의도를 유인하기 위한 중요한 요소라고 할 수 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 온라인 경매사이트의 매출액 증진을 위하여, 온라인경매에서 입찰 참여 의도와 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인 요인간의 관계 연구는 수행되지 않았다. 본 연구의 목적은 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인 요인과 소비자의 입찰 참여 의도간의 관계에 관한 연구이다. 특히, 아르헨티나를 사례연구로 실증분석을 수행하였다. 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인 요인은 (1)사이트 구조측면과 (2)정보의 디자인 측면 그리고, (3)정보의 내용측면을 추출하였다. 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인요인과 소비자의 선호도 변수들과의 비교분석이 이루어진다. 소비자 선호도 변수는 (1)웹디자인의 유용성 인지도와 (2)정보의 유용성 인지도 그리고, (3)웹사이트의 용이성 인지도가 사용되었다. 본 연구의 분석결과에 의하면, 웹기반 경매사이트의 3가지 디자인요인에 해당하는 사이트의 구조측면과 정보의 디자인측면 그리고, 정보의 내용 측면은 모두 소비자의 입찰에 대한 태도와 입찰 참여 의도에 긍정적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 소비자의 특성에 따른 차이점이 입찰 참여 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 결과로 제공하고 있다.

An Effect of Organizational Security Climate on Individual's Opportunistic Security Behavior: An Empirical Study (조직의 보안 분위기가 개인의 기회주의 행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증 연구)

  • Drawing upon Griffin and Neal's safety climate and performance model, this study developed an information security climate model. Research model is composed of three research variables that include information security climate, information security compliance attitude, and opportunistic security behavior. Results of the study strongly support the fundamental proposition that the organizational security climate has significant positive influence on the individual's opportunistic security behavior. However, the study also reveals that the organizational climate may not directly associate with the reduction of opportunistic security behavior. Rather the organizational security climate nurtures the favorable attitude of the employee towards the compliance of information security, which in turn discourages opportunistic security behavior.

  • This study investigates the relationships between extrinsic motivation (perceived usefulness), intrinsic motivation (perceived ease of use and perceived enjoyment), and attitude toward online community. With 252 valid responses, the research hypotheses are tested using by structured equation model. The results show that perceived ease of use affects perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment, that perceived enjoyment has a positive impact on perceived usefulness and attitude toward online community, and that perceived usefulness positively influences attitude toward online community. The study can help IS managers and professionals plan their courses of action more effectively for users' continuous visits on online community.

  • Recently SNS product reviews are excessively increasing. However, many SNS reviews are under feeble regulation than how big and powerful that their awarenesses are. This problem leads to consumers' discontentment on product reviews on online. This study aims to analyze how SNS product reviews characteristics: informativeness, entertainment, reliability and familiarity attribute on consumers' purchase intent and brand attitude. However, at this time, consumers' high discontents (stored-knowledge) expect to have negative affect on product reviews thus I put this as a regulation effect. This study is consisted of 240 examinee who check SNS product reviews before buying products.
