  • Knowledge Ecosystem은 지식이 자연생태계와 유사한 속성을 가지고 있다는 가정과 관점으로부터 출발한다. 이는 지식과 지식 그리고 이를 생성하고 활용하는 주체와 주체가 생태계의 복잡한 네트워크로 연결되어 다양한 진화와 소멸의 과정을 거치는 과정으로 이해하고 이를 현실세계에 반영하여 긍정적 측면에서 지식을 확대재생산하거나 강화하고 부정적 측면을 약화시키는 과정으로 이해할 수 있다. 이러한 과정은 인위적 개입이나 통제보다는 생태계의 자연스러운 현상에 기반하여 이를 활성화하는데 근본적인 목적이 있다. 본 논문에서는 과학기술정보를 활용하여 연구개발을 수행하고 이를 통해 신제품개발 및 사업화를 수행하는 과학기술정보 커뮤니티에 Knowledge Ecosystem을 개발, 적용한 사례를 중심으로 시스템의 개념과 성과에 대해 설명하고자 한다.

Evaluation of the Spatial Distribution of Water Yield Service based on Precipitation and Population (강수량 및 인구인자를 반영한 수원함양서비스의 공간분포 평가)

  • The study of ecosystem service assessment has been actively researched and developed from Millennium Ecosystem Assessment(MA) and The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity(TEEB). However, current assessments are limited to monetary assessments of ecosystem function and do not account for the effects of environmental factors and socioeconomic status. This study proposes methods to evaluate ecosystem service based on environmental and socioeconomic factors. The study assesses water yield function through the water yield model in InVEST Tool, and evaluates the overall ecosystem service of water yield as reflected by the amount of precipitation and population of the area. Results show that a difference exists between spatial distributions of the ecosystem function of water yield derived from natural conditions such as land cover and soil, and the spatial distribution of the ecosystem service that accounts for climate and socioeconomic factors. The value of ecosystem service increases for an area of higher population and lower precipitation with similar water yield. Thus, the ecosystem service of water yield should be evaluated not only by the water yield function, but also by climate and socioeconomic factors. The evaluation process described for this study should also be applicable to the evaluation of ecological services in other sectors.

강원지역 정보보호산업 생태계 연구

  • 본 고에서는 강원지역에서 정보보호 강화를 위한 정책방안을 도출하기 위해 정보보호 수요자, 공급자, 인력 현황을 산업 생태계 이론을 적용하여 처음으로 지역 차원의 조사를 실시하였으며, 이를 통해 정책적 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 강원지역에서도 공공기관, 일반기업 등 정보보호 수요가 존재하나 다른 지역에 비해 상대적으로 낮으며, 정보보호 기업이 존재하나 자체 수요를 공급하기 어려운 상황이라 강원지역 외 정보보호 기업들이 공급을 하고 있는 상황임을 확인할 수 있었다. 강원지역 내에서 정보보호 수요 및 공급기업이 필요로 하는 전문인력 공급이 어려운 상황이라 정보보호 인력양성을 위한 정책적 지원과 정보보호 인력에 대한 전문 교육이 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다. 정책방안으로 지역 공공부문에서의 선도적 수요창출 노력과 지역정보보호생태계 관점으로의 패러다임 전환을 위한 제도 마련을 제안하였다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 개인정보 개념을 재검토하여 신뢰 기반 ICT 인프라가 주는 새로운 개인정보 활용 비즈니스 기회들을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 개인정보가 ICT 활용 비즈니스에 이용된 배경에 대해 살펴본 후, 이러한 비즈니스 환경에서의 불신요인과 파급력을 파악해 신뢰 기반 ICT 인프라가 줄 수 있는 새로운 개인정보 생태계 비즈니스모델들을 제시한다. 새로운 비즈니스 기회로는 옵트인 방식 적용 범위의 확대, 데이터 수집 없는 앱의 출시, 이용자 통제 기반의 개인정보 부가가치화, 그리고 신뢰 추구 업체 친화적인 개인정보 생태계 조성등이며, 이와 관련한 비즈니스모델들은 기존의 블록킹 툴 무료 제공 및 데이터 수집 없는 앱 외에 개인정보저장소 앱, 신뢰 기반 브랜드화된 쿠키 앱, 게이미피케이션이 가미된 자가분석 앱, 평판관리 앱, 개인정보 기부 앱 등으로 무한 확장이 가능할 것이다. 또한, 이러한 앱 생태계가 마련되기 위해서는 신뢰를 추구하는 앱 개발자들의 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있는 있는 업체 최적화 플랫폼(VOP)의 역할이 매우 중요할 것으로 보인다.

  • This thesis represents the integrated 3D DEM using both the process of satellite image and the real value of topographic maps. This DEM is draped on satellite image processed to improve representations of the real world. The 3D visualization and 3D animation with satellite imagery data enables to depict more vivid and realistic world. The paper also describes and implements the natural environmental/ecological information system that consists of 7 modules to manage environmental data systematically through an enhanced user interface. We make use of topographic map, satellite imagery data and several thematic maps. Each module has a user interface enabling to assist particular needs of decision-making for ecological/environmental assessments associated with spatial analysis of ecosystem and classification of the environmental status quo and other purposes.

  • 농약은 농산물 생산에 있어서 병해충 및 잡초를 방제함으로써 생산성을 높이는데 필수적인 농업자재로 인식하고 있다. 그런데 모든 화학물질이 그러하듯이 농약도 두 가지 양면성을 지니고 있다. 즉, 약효와 독성이다. 일반적으로 농약은 뿌려진 농약의 $0.1\%$이하만이 목표물이라고 할 수 있는 해충 및 잡초, 이병작물에 떨어지고 그 외는 비표적 생물 및 환경매체에 떨어짐으로써 생태계에 영향을 준다고 한다. 약효는 농약으로서 지녀야 하는 당연한 기능이지만 독성은 가능한 줄여야 할 기능이기 때문에 농약회사에서는 약효는 높으면서 사람과 생태계에는 좀 더 안전한 농약을 개발하기 위해 애쓰고 있다. 우리나라는 전세계적으로 볼 때 농약을 비교적 많이 사용하는 나라로 알려져 있으나 경제규모 및 사용량에 비해서 생태계에 대한 농약관리는 앞서가지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 따라서 농약의 생태위해성 평가에 대한 기본적인 이해를 돕기 위해 이번호부터 연재를 통해 생태위해성에 대한 기본개념을 소개함과 동시에 국내외 농약등록제도에서의 생태위해성 의사결정 과정을 비교하고 마지막으로는 국내 농약관리제도에 있어서 생태독성분야의 의사결정에 대하여 개선방안을 제안하고자 한다.

Analysis of Changes in the Algal Ecosystem of Sihwa Lake and Design of Sihwa-Ecosystem-Index (SEI) Based on Gradient Descent (시화호 조류 생태계의 변화 분석 및 경사 하강법을 이용한 시화호 환경 지수 고안)

  • The Sihwa River was first planned to be a fresh water lake, but it failed due to serious environment pollution. During times of destruction and regeneration, changes of ecosystem of Sihwa River was visible, especially the algal ecosystem. It's because many seasonal birds pass through the place. This paper analyzes the changes of algal ecosystem of Sihwa River based on eight ecosystem indices. Moreover, using gradient descent, COD is expressed has a function of three ecosystem indices selected from above which is newly defined as SEI, Sihwa Ecosystem Index. In conclusion, we can observe the current ecosystem more easily without its actual data, but only with informations of the ecosystem.

Process Networks of Ecohydrological Systems in a Temperate Deciduous Forest: A Complex Systems Perspective (온대활엽수림 생태수문계의 과정망: 복잡계 관점)

  • From a complex systems perspective, ecohydrological systems in forests may be characterized with (1) large networks of components which give rise to complex collective behaviors, (2) sophisticated information processing, and (3) adaptation through self-organization and learning processes. In order to demonstrate such characteristics, we applied the recently proposed 'process networks' approach to a temperate deciduous forest in Gwangneung National Arboretum in Korea. The process network analysis clearly delineated the forest ecohydrological systems as the hierarchical networks of information flows and feedback loops with various time scales among different variables. Several subsystems were identified such as synoptic subsystem (SS), atmospheric boundary layer subsystem (ABLS), biophysical subsystem (BPS), and biophysicochemical subsystem (BPCS). These subsystems were assembled/disassembled through the couplings/decouplings of feedback loops to form/deform newly aggregated subsystems (e.g., regional subsystem) - an evidence for self-organizing processes of a complex system. Our results imply that, despite natural and human disturbances, ecosystems grow and develop through self-organization while maintaining dynamic equilibrium, thereby continuously adapting to environmental changes. Ecosystem integrity is preserved when the system's self-organizing processes are preserved, something that happens naturally if we maintain the context for self-organization. From this perspective, the process networks approach makes sense.

A Review on Environmental Impact Assessment and Policy Utilization through the Establishment of Ecological Outlook and Evaluation System (자연생태 전망평가체계 마련을 통한 환경영향평가 및 정책 활용방안 고찰)

  • As the risk of biodiversity reduction and extinction becomes serious due to climate change and indiscriminate development, the importance of conservation of the natural environment and ecosystem is increasing. In this situation, Ireviewed that overseas cases of the ecological outlook and evaluation system aimed at providing information on natural resources and ecosystem change. As a results, other countries showed that various research institutes have been carrying on field surveys by classification group, but it was different from us that the investigated data are collected and managed in an integrated manner and repeatedly provided within a short period of time. In addition, it was analyzed that it was highly utilized in policy and environmental impact assessment by providing evaluation-based prediction and outlook information along with basic survey data. Based on this, the limitations of information use in our wildlife surveys and environmental impacts assessments were analyzed, and the estabilishment of a ecology outlook and evaluation system and policy support measures were considered. In addition, based on the proposed outlook and evaluation system preparation plan, a policy direction that can be effectively used in domestic natural ecosystem policies was proposed.

A Study on Global Blockchain Economy Ecosystem Classification and Intelligent Stock Portfolio Performance Analysis (글로벌 블록체인 경제 생태계 분류와 지능형 주식 포트폴리오 성과 분석)

  • Starting from 2010, blockchain technology, along with the development of artificial intelligence, has been in the spotlight as the latest technology to lead the 4th industrial revolution. Furthermore, previous research regarding blockchain's technological applications has been ongoing ever since. However, few studies have been examined the standards for classifying the blockchain economic ecosystem from a capital market perspective. Our study is classified into a collection of interviews of software developers, entrepreneurs, market participants and experts who use blockchain technology to utilize the blockchain economic ecosystem from a capital market perspective for investing in stocks, and case study methodologies of blockchain economic ecosystem according to application fields of blockchain technology. Additionally, as a way that can be used in connection with equity investment in the capital market, the blockchain economic ecosystem classification methodology was established to form an investment universe consisting of global blue-chip stocks. It also helped construct an intelligent portfolio through quantitative and qualitative analysis that are based on quant and artificial intelligence strategies and evaluate its performances. Lastly, it presented a successful investment strategy according to the growth of blockchain economic ecosystem. This study not only classifies and analyzes blockchain standardization as a blockchain economic ecosystem from a capital market, rather than a technical, point of view, but also constructs a portfolio that targets global blue-chip stocks while also developing strategies to achieve superior performances. This study provides insights that are fused with global equity investment from the perspectives of investment theory and the economy. Therefore, it has practical implications that can contribute to the development of capital markets.
