The purpose of this study is proposing implications toward liberal arts Informatics education at universities in Korea by analyzing Japan's liberal arts Informatics curriculum standards. For this aim, the changes of the two standards have been compared focusing on a variety of researches related to J07-GE and J17-GE. In order to examine the scope and degree of Informatics knowledge reflecting J17-GE, which is a revised version, the analysis has been conducted through the relationship between curriculum standards regarding CS. As a result of the analysis, it has been identified that principles and knowledge of informatics can nurture competency of university students as universal liberal arts through J07-GE and J17-GE based on Computational thinking viewpoint and Japanese Informatics studies definition. Thus, when it comes to developing curriculum, discussion of not only knowledge system but also number of classes and methods have to be taken into account. This study is meaningful in the sense that it proposed directions for advancing university liberal arts Informatics education and developing liberal arts Informatics curriculum standards.

지식 정보화 사회에서 사회구성원들이 원활히 생활하고 당면한 문제들을 알고리즘적 사고에 바탕에 두고 해결하기 위해서는 컴퓨터교육이 필수적이다. 그러나 현행 초 중등과정에서 컴퓨터 교육과정을 살펴보면, 도구적 관점에서 문맹탈피를 위해 특정한 응용 소프트웨어 사용법을 가르치는 단순한 컴퓨터 소양, 활용교육 중심으로 교육과정이 편성되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 미국의 초 중등과정에서 컴퓨터 교육과정 개발에 관련된 기존 연구를 소개하고, 이를 기반으로 초 중등과정에서 컴퓨터과학 교육과정을 새롭게 제시하고자 한다. 이 새로운 교육과정의 특징은 컴퓨터교육을 도구적 관점이 아닌, 컴퓨터과학의 관점에서 소양, 활용, 과학교육을 포괄하도록 구성되어 있다.

본 논문에서는 중등 교육에 적합한 데이터 리터러시 핵심 역량을 도출하기 위해 국내외 중등 교육과정의 내용을 분석하였다. 고등 교육 졸업생들을 대상으로 개발된 기존 데이터 리터러시 역량 프레임워크를 분석 매트릭스로하여 한국, 영국, 호주, 싱가포르, CSTA의 교육과정 내용을 분석한 결과, 중등 교육과정에서 공통적으로 나타나는 역량과 기존 프레임워크에 있으나 중등 교육과정에는 포함되지 않은 역량, 기존 프레임워크에 없지만 중등 교육과정에서 공통적으로 나타나는 내용 등을 확인할 수 있었다.

The interest in artificial intelligence education in education is also high based on recent social interest in artificial intelligence. Accordingly, Korea is preparing a foothold for revitalizing artificial intelligence education in the future, such as announcing an artificial intelligence education plan by expanding from software (SW) education that has become a regular curriculum after the 2015 revised curriculum, and various studies are being conducted. However, research on the curriculum related to what and how to educate in artificial intelligence education is still in its infancy and further research is needed. A look at related research shows many similarities and differences in research related to domestic and foreign AI curriculum, because there are differences in the areas and content elements that each research focuses on. Therefore, in this study, in preparation for the future independence of the information subject and the formalization of AI education, literature studies on domestic and foreign AI curriculum are conducted, and based on this, the direction of the curriculum composition for elementary school AI education is to be explored.

This paper investigates the integration strategies of school library into school's curriculum from a institutional point of view. For this purpose, this study compares and analyze the role and relationship of school library media program to school's curriculum in Korea, U.S., Japan. Basing on the comparative result, it proposed the school library relation element that must include in national level curriculum in Korea. To the element which it proposes it includes the compulsion assignment of school library assisted instruction. the time allocation of reading and information literacy instruction, the scope and sequence of information literacy instruction, the flexible schedule.

The purpose of this study is to explore the concept, contents, and curriculum of MIL(Media and Information Literacy) proposed by UNESCO from the perspective of Library and Information Science to obtain the basic information necessary for the revision of the Library and Information Life curriculum and to derive implications. As a result of the analysis, UNESCO used the term MIL to highlight the characteristics and importance of information literacy in media education. The information literacy and library literacy were key factors in forming the concept and curriculum of MIL. UNESCO also presented 'information literacy and library skills' as essential areas of the MIL curriculum, as well as core competencies and achievement criteria. In addition, the MIL curriculum actively embraces information literacy and library literacy, with the five laws of MIL based on the five laws of library science. The results of this study could be used as a basis for the reason why MIL should be actively accepted in Library and Information Science and for the revision of Library and Information Life curriculum.

2009년부터 초등학교 1, 2학년에 적용된 '2007 개정교육과정'의 재량활동 컴퓨터교육이 필수에서 선택으로 바뀌고, 범교과 차원의 독서교육, 환경교육, 통일교육, 보건교육 등이 재량활동에서 비중을 차지하게 됨에 따라 컴퓨터교육이 어려움을 맞게 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 충청북도 초등학교 교사 360명을 대상으로 컴퓨터교육 실태를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 개정교육과정에서 바뀐 컴퓨터교육과정에 대한 교사들의 올바른 이해가 필요하며, 컴퓨터전담교사 배치 및 교사 연수가 필요하다는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 재량활동을 통한 컴퓨터교육은 반드시 필요하고 정보통신 윤리교육에 대한 체계적인 교육이 필요하다는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

정보통신윤리는 정보화사회에서 인간의 존엄성과 인간의 본래적 가치를 지켜 인간 중심의 건전한 정보 문화를 창출해 나갈 버팀목이라 해도 과언이 아니다. 본 연구는 정보화사회에서의 정보통신윤리교육의 필요성을 고찰하고, 정보통신윤리교육 내용을 교육과정 및 선행연구에 나타난 내용을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 이를 토대로 정보통신윤리교육 내용을 재정립해 보았다. 아울러 인터넷에서 정보통신윤리교육에 활용할 수 있는 컨텐츠를 분석하고 이를 적용한 교수 학습 과정안을 제시하였다.

Information literacy(IL) is the essential skill in the knowledge information society in the 21st century. Spreading the awareness of importance of IL across the world, the efforts to develop and implement IL standards or instructions are expanded around United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. In this study, Author extracts the core elements of IL from domestic and foreign IL standards and integrates those with Kuhlthau's Information Search Process(ISP) Model in order to develop the curriculum model of IL for undergraduates. The curriculum model has been constructed by consideration of capability of application to practice and expressed as the syllabus for the structure of university education. In the curriculum model, major instructional contents are extracted from 6 core elements of IL and the contents are organized by 6 ISP stages. Author suggests some successive studies based on the curriculum model for expansion and advancement of IL instruction.

Research methods is an integral component of a field and plays a crucial role for the development of a field. Three areas are explored to assess research methods in Korean library and information science (US) graduate programs: (1) comparison of research methods'courses across Korean LIS graduate programs; (2) content analysis of the trend of research methods education; (3) comparison of research methods'courses between the U.S. and Korean library and information science graduate programs.
