Implementation Strategy for the Real-Time Enterprise in Fashion Industry (패션산업에서의 실시간기업 도입 방안)

  • Zara and Limited Brands in the fashion industry are two leading companies that satisfy the clients' needs and the trend of fashion. The agile organizations which response to the change of business environment or adaptive enterprises which monitor the customer's desires have been studied over the long time in the academic world. Recently these management concepts have been extended to the Real-Time Enterprise. In this paper how to implement the RTE in the fashion industry is suggested. To implement the RTE, the end-to-end process should be continuously operated without delays. Also, the three main attributes of RTE, -visibility, intelligence, and agility-should be achieved. Further more based on the cyclone model and the RTE attributes, important issues to be considered for the successful RTE implementation are discussed.

Construction Plan of Ground Fire Fighter Conduct Manual on Forest Fire Occurrence Site -Case Study on Ground Fire Fighter Team of National Forest Office- (산불현장 지상진화 행동매뉴얼 구축 방안 -국유림관리소 지상진화대원 업무를 중심으로-)

  • The manual was proposed for individual role, according to the stages of forest fire suppression at forest fire occurrence site, for forest fire crew who has a responsibility of national forest office. The scopes of this manual are (1) apply to initial attack before arriving helicopter, (2) apply to ground fire fighting support with air attack, (3) apply to mop-up after withdraw air attack, (4) apply to night suppression when air attack is impossible. This manual is arranged for incident commander or ground fire fighter duties from the 1st stage of acceptance of forest fire to the 10th stage of withdraw of helicopter. This was developed for the purpose of every awareness of the crews and therefore of fire reduction of damage of lives, properties and forest through systematic and rapid response to forest fire.

Evaluation of Central Commissary School Foodservice Operations' Practices and their Dietitians' Job Duties (공동조리 급식학교의 운영실태 및 영양사 업무 평가)

  • Central commissary school foodservice operations' practices and their dietitians' job duties were assessed and compared with those of their counterpart of conventional school foodservice operations to find out strategies for early settlement and better management for commissary system. Survey qestionnaires consisted of general background, employees' work schedule and dietitians' job duties. 12 commissary schools(out of 22 existing in Korea) and 77 conventional schools from Kyungkido were participated in the survey. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. Central commissary school foodservice was presently utilized at 5 schools from islands type, 11 schools from rural type, and 6 schools from urban type, consisting total of 22 commissary schools, and 52 satellite schools. 2. Dietitians were evenly employed with their experiences, 55.5% were those with less than 2 years of experience, 44.6% were those with more than 2 years of experience. 3. Commissary schools employed more full-time empolyees$(1.8{\pm}0.7)$ than conventional schools$(0.3{\pm}0.5)$, however as far as the production capacity was concerned, only the part-time employees played significant roles(p<.01). Regardless of the number of students, an absolute number of full-time employees were employed, and their duties were not carried out efficiently. The part-time employees of commissary schools performed more loaded work compared to their counterparts in conventional schools. 4. Out of the dietitians' foodservice duties, 'basic food service production$(3.9{\pm}0.7)$' were carried out adequately, whereas 'nutrition education and advertisement$(2.5{\pm}0.6)$' and 'administrative affairs and information related duties$(2.8{\pm}0.9)$' were not. In order to enhance their working capacity, systematic organizational reforms are imminent. 5. Survey results also showed that dietitians performed less duties at satellite school than at the central commissary. This indicates more systematic foodservice management practices are urgently needed.

  • The purpose of this study is to present a methodology of GIS audit system which fully reflects standardization regarding GIS. With the recognition of the problems stemming from data exchange, building costs, and budget waste, this study utilized the standardization for evaluation factors of GIS audit. After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of current audit methodology, this study pointed out the importance of audit, then presenting main audit factors followed by analyzing national standardization and extracting contents of audit to be added into the existing auditing items. Through the analysis of different types and characteristics, and both advantages and disadvantages of GASP, this study identifies and introduces a highly improved and practical methodology called Modified-GASP (M-GASP) that is basically set to be complementary and supplementary to GASP. Ultimately, the result of this study will support the higher degree of efficiency, stability, and extendability of GIS system, not to mention of strengthening the competitiveness of organizations involved.

A Study on the Medical Information System for Hospice (호스피스 의료정보시스템 구축에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose : The study is to develop the medical information system for the hospice which can be implemented actually by considering the imitations with respect to hospice programs and hardware resources. And the ultimate goal of this study is the promotion of the hospice. Methods : The study is of qualitative research and is performed by the literature survey in related fields. And the precedent studies are taken into account also. Through these surveys, crucial items are revealed and the solutions for thorn are proposed. Results : The analysis of the hospice program shows that the MIS can be applied to the hospice with a greater efficiency. This gives the rationale that the MIS for the hospice should be set-up as soon as possible. Conclusion : In establishing the system, recommended is that the hospice model take the gradual development rather than the integrated one from the on-set stage. Further the system design should take several limitations into account to be a realistic one.

  • When the construction management method was introduced, there were arguments regarding the contractual responsibility of the construction manager. Accordingly, the provisions on damage compensation in the Construction Technology Management Act were revised in 2002, and the obligatory duty of care of a good manager is now required by the Framework Act on the Construction Industry. Even though the construction manager has a responsibility of a consultant in the CM-for-fee contract, however, the Korean construction environment does not clearly specify the consultant's scope of responsibility. In this study, the theory about the duty of care, which is a consultant's responsibility among the expert's responsibilities, was arranged. Based on the responsibilities of experts such as lawyers, the duties of care of a good manager of the construction manager were presented to provide the foundation for establishing the construction manager's responsibilities. To verify the resulting items, interviews with experts were performed to assess their importance levels.

  • In domestic, the Quality Management system of construction work has been compounded of the association of regulation which is ground for relevant law and operation of Quality Management system by ISO/KS A 9001(QMS) established by the contractor. Two quality guaranteed systems must be operated with complementary and integrated system, but we can not make full use of QMS of contractor and only run routinized quality management system in all construction project by the standard, methods, process provided in the law. These problems were demanded better condition in the past ten years, since the ISO standards have been introduced. Establishing preventive consideration of quality management by setting a goal of drastic quality guarantee is an urgent problem of construction industry. This study is quick to fellow, which should do three things. 1. The attitude survey related quality management of staff in charge in construction site has run. 2. Base on these results, we adjust satisfaction measurement about operation of construction quality management system. 3. Subsequently, we want to offer our thesis about advanced opinion for the next.

  • Lenin's decree of 1 June 1918 'On the reorganization and centralization of archives in the RSFRS' is appreciated as an institutional and conceptional basis for Socialist archival theory and practice not only in USSR but also in most countries of the socialist community. In spite of its importance to the making role to build the 'landmark' in the history of russian archives. This paper focuses on the activities and achievements of archivists in 'RAD Union(Union of Russian archives activists)' in revolutionary situation of 1917-1920. To preserve documental heritage with historical values in difficult situation of 1917 historians and archivists in 'RAD Union' voluntarily cooperated with new governments. This special situation led them to make more efforts at reformulating national archival system, namely, the state Archival Fond (Gosudarstvennyi Arkhivnyi Fond) as a new base for the centralization and arrangement of all archival materials throughout the country. Their experience was reflected in every articles of the archival decree of June 1918.

A Study on the Model for Construction Records Classification System (건설기록물 분류체계 모형에 관한 연구)

  • The international standards, ISO 15489 and Family Code, recommend using functional classification method both in public and private organizations. In this study made a comparative analysis of the details of classification systems through case studies on records classification systems of a total of seven comprehensive construction companies in Korea including three large corporations and four small and medium-size businesses. Findings of this study suggester the direction of developing construction records classification system and its methodology. By summarizing classification standards derived from these case studies, key construction records classification standards were presented.

Suggestion of a Digital Curation Framework for Historical Contents (역사콘텐츠 활용을 위한 디지털 큐레이션 프레임워크 제안)

  • This study suggested a digital curation framework for supporting the digital policy of institutes that collect memory. As such, it conducted a literature review and an analysis of digital curation models, as well as a focus-group interview of historians and graduate students majoring in historical studies. In this study, digital curation framework refers to an abstract model for supporting policy development and the planning for a high-level view of the archival information service. This implications of this framework are as follows: (1) to emphasize the data life cycle and connection between stages and actions; (2) to make an infra-schema for understanding institutes that create, arrange, or store specific data as the same history contents have to be provided by different institutes and as there are differences in the data's value; (3) to check the present conditions of information services and their systems; (4) to consider the practical applications of contents that have been collected and stored; and (5) to converge all data in one system through the framework and activate diverse works in the context of the framework.
