Effect of Surface Properties on Adhesive Strength of Joint of Glass Fiber/Polyester Composite Panels (유리섬유/폴리에스테르 복합재료 패널 접합부의 접착강도에 관한 표면성질의 효과)

  • Adherend samples were made from unsaturated polyester and woven and mat glass fibers by the hand layup and vacuum methods. The mechanical properties of the adhesive, composite adherends, and terminal-joint and secondary-joint specimens were determined experimentally. Combinations of the experiment results and the bonding theory were used in this study. The maximum and average shear stresses were calculated based on the maximum tensile force and geometry parameters of the joint specimens. The results of the maximum and average shear stresses were compared and evaluated for six joints. The results showed that the grinding and grind/acetone joint had the highest strength among three types of terminal-joints. Similarly, the mat-mat and mat-woven joints had the highest strength among three types of secondary-joints with the same value. Conversely, no treatment and woven-woven bonding had very low strength. In each case, failure occurred always at two ends and then moved toward the middle area of the overlap length.

  • The required connection ductility has been evaluated, considering geometric, material and connection nonlinearity, for 6-story unbraced and 20-story braced steel structures subjected to ultimate lateral load. For material nonlinearity, section moment-curvature relationship and member stiffness matrix have been derived utilizing fiber model and linear flexibility distribution model. In 6-story structure with semi-rigid connections for rigid connection, the required connection ductility is less than that for rigid connection. In 20-story structure, the required connection ductility for semi-rigid connection is almost the same as that for shear connection and the required ductility for rigid connection is larger than that for semi-rigid or shear connection.

A Study on the Low Temperature Bonding of Cu with Sn Alloy Interlayer Coated by Sputtering (스퍼터링법으로 증착한 주석 합금층을 중간재로 사용한 순동의 저온접합법에 대한 연구)

  • 동과 동을 저온에서 단시간내에 접합시키는 가능성을 검토하기 위해서 직류 자기 스퍼터링을 이용한 코팅한 주석 및 주석-잡 합금층을 중간층으로 사용하였다. 접합은 대기중 200-35$0^{\circ}C$의 온도에서 수행되었고 접합온도에 도달직후 바로 냉각하였다. 접합 계면에는 액상의 주석과 고상의 동간의 반응에 의해 n-상(Cu6Sn5) 및 $\varepsilon$-상(Cu3Sn)으로 구성된 금속간화함물 층이 형성되었다. 전단강도로 측정된 접합강도는 접합온도에 따라 비례적으로 증가하지만 30$0^{\circ}C$ 이상에서 감소하였다. 접합강도는 2.8-6.2MPa 범위로 나타났으며, 중간층합금 성분에 따른 접합계면에서의 금속간화합물의 생성거동과 관련지어 설명되었다. 실험결과 실용적인 접합법으로서 저온 단시간 접합의 가능성이 확인되었다.

  • AIGaAs/InGaAs/GaAs high electron mobility transisters(HEMT)소자의 오믹 접합재료로 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 AuGeNi의 접합저항과 열적 안정성을 향상시키기 위한 새로운 접합재료에 대해 연구하였다. 이를 위해 sub/M$_{1}$Au-Ge/M$_{2}$Au의 구조에서 M$_{1}$을 Ni과 Pd, M$_{2}$를 Ni, Ti, Mo로 하였을 경우의 접합 재료에 대한 오믹 접합 특성의 변화를 조사하였다. 또한 일반 열처리로와 램프 히터를 이용한 고속 열처리에 따른 오믹 특성을 조사하였다. M$_{1}$을 Ni에서 Pd으로 대체하였을 경우 접합 저항은 약간 증가하였으며 접합 특성의 개선을 관찰되지 않았다. M$_{2}$를 Ni에서 Ti이나 Mo로 대치하였을 경우, 접합 저항은 감소하였고 열적 안정성과 접합 형상은 현저히 개선되었다. 특히 Ni/Au-Ge/Mo/Au의 접합재료는 급속 열처리에 의해 -0.1Ωmm의 극히 낮은 잡합 저항과 우수한 접합 형상을 갖는 것으로 조사되었다.

A Study on the Economy of Weak-Axis Beam-to-Column Connections (약축 보-기둥 접합부의 경제성에 관한 연구)

  • Column-tree beam-to-column joints are widely used in moment-resisting frames in Korea. In this study, we proposed four different arrangements for weak-axis moment-resisting beam-to-column connections, which are more economical than the conventional connection, while developing similar structural performance. We investigated the proposed connections whose connection details were different from the conventional one. The experiment was also conducted on a total of five beam-to-column joint specimensto verify the structural performance of the proposed connections. All four connections proposed in this study were found to be more economical that the conventional connection. Three out of four specimens with proposed details were able to developa structural performance similar to that of the specimen with the conventional detail.

  • We investigated the optimum bonding conditions for thermo-compression bonding of electrodes between flexible printed circuit board(FPCB) and rigid printed circuit board(RPCB) with Sn-58Bi solder as interlayer. In order to figure out the optimum bonding conditions, peel test of FPCB/RPCB joint was conducted. The peel strength was affected by the bonding conditions, such as temperature and time. The fracture energies were calculated through F-x (Force-displacement) curve during peel test and the relationships between bonding conditions and fracture behaviors were investigated. The optimum condition for the thermo-compression bonding with Sn-58Bi solder was found to be temperature of $195^{\circ}C$ and time of 7 s.

The Effect of Sponsorship Articulation and Moderating Effect of Articulation Type & Thinking Style (스폰서십 접합화와 접합화 유형 및 사고방식의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to test the effects of articulation and sponsorship according to the native fit level. Especially this study is focused on the moderating effect of articulation type and thinking style. The results of this study are as follows. 1) An articulation effect appears more in the low native fit than the high one. 2), 3) The moderating effect appears in articulation type, but partially in thinking style. Namely, the difference in the articulation effect appears between commercial and non commercial articulation, but it does partially between holistic thinkers and analytic thinkers. 3) The higher articulation effect is, the more sponsorship effect(attitude toward sponsor and sponsor brand) is. The results of this study contribute theoretical and managerial implications about articulation and its effect as an effective means in marketing communications.

  • 본 연구에서는 프리캐스트 PC 세그멘탈 교량 접합부의 전단거동을 파악하기 위하여 전단키 접합부의 전단거동과 전단강도 특성을 실험적으로 연구하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 접합부 형상에 따른 하중-변위 관계, 균열거동, 파괴모드, 전단강도 등을 규명하고, 접합부의 역학적 거동에 영향을 미치는 여러인자들에 대해 분석한다. 또한 이로부터 최적의 접합부 형상을 도출하고, 이에 따른 최적의 접합방식을 검토함으로써 접합부 설계의 지침과 해석의 근거를 제시한다.

마찰교반접합공정을 적용하여 겹치기 접합을 실시한 복합조직강의 미세조직과 기계적 특성

  • 본 연구는 차량경량화를 위하여 높은 인장강도와 우수한 인성을 가지는 590MPa급 이상조직강(Dual phase steel)을 이용하여 1991년 TWI(The Welding Institute)에서 개발된 마찰교반접합을 적용하여 접합을 실시하였다. 접합의 공정조건으로 툴의 회전속도는 250~350 RPM, 접합속도로는 50~350 mm/min로 겹치기접합을 실시하였다. 접합에서 사용된 툴은 Megastir에서 제작한 고융점마찰교반접합용 툴인 PCBN(Q-60)을 이용하였고 연구에 사용된 DP590은 포스코(POSCO)에서 제작된 1.4t(mm) 두께인 AHSS(advanced high strength steels)을 사용하였다. 모재인 DP590과 접합체의 미세조직은 광학현미경과 주사전자현미경을 이용하여 관찰하였으며 기계적 특성은 경도시험과 인장시험을 실시하여 조사하였다. 경도의 분포는 모재에서 약 220~230Hv이며 TMAZ부분에서 상승하기 시작하여 접합부에서 약 320Hv까지 상승하는 경향을 보였으며 인장시험 결과 접합속도 100~200 mm/min에서는 모든 시편이 모재에서 파단되어지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 위와 같은 결과 300~350 RPM, 100~200 mm/min의 공정조건에서는 접합이 성공적으로 이루어졌으며 차량경량화에 적용이 가능하다고 판단되어진다.

Structural Performance and CO2 Reduction Evaluation of the Ultra simple Wide-shaped section Beam-to-Column Weak Axis Connection (초간편 H형강 기둥-보 약축접합부의 구조성능 및 CO2 저감량 평가)

  • There have been few researches on the connection technology for steel structures, so the research outputs and the outcome of the technology development are still insufficient. The bracket-type connection should be improved for efficient constructability and $CO_2$ reduction. It should be replaced by a new type of weak-axis connection that has better structural performance and less $CO_2$ emission. Since the structural performance and safety of the new type of weak-axis connection must first be verified, however, a study on $CO_2$ reduction will be conducted. Therefore, this study looked into the structural performance of the bracket-type details, standard details, and ultra-simple details. It evaluated the requirements for connection materials and $CO_2$ emission. It was found that the ultra-simple weak-axis connection has thebest structural performance and the least $CO_2$ emissions, so it is deemed capable of replacing the bracket-type weak-axis connection.
