TV 브라운관 유리와 컴퓨터 모니터용 유리를 생산하는 한국전기초자는 지난 99년 4월부터 최근까지 모터절전기 설치사업을 꾸준히 추진해왔다. 모터의 부하증감에 따른 전류와 전압의 위상차를 일치시킴으로써 모터의 회전수와 힘에 영향을 주지 않고도 정격주파수를 유지하면서 위상각을 제어하는 모터절전기 설치사업은 매달 전기료가 약 20억원에 이르는 이 공장에 $4.8\%$의 절전효과를 가져다주었다. 동력분야에서 이 정도의 절전효과가 발생하기는 쉽지 않은 일이기에 공장측은 앞으로도 지속적인 투자를 벌일 계획이다.

전동기의 절전운전 방안에는 신규투자 없이 기존설비의 운전방법 개선이나 유지보수 강화만으로 간단히 얻어질 수 있는 것과 투자비를 수반하는 절전설비의 채용 등을 통하여 얻어지는 경우로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 이 중에서 절전설비 채용의 경우에는 사전 기술검토 결과에 의거 투자비 회수에 따라 경제성이 있어야 한다.

Abstract The DHCP power saving system provides advantage to driving active participation in which users installs the power saving software by restricting IP address through the power management server. However, the problem with this approach is the vulnerability to IP spoofing attacks, therefore we need to solve the mistake that disrupt the entire network system rather than saving electric power. In this paper, we propose the authentication system that can implement the efficiency saving power by providing high security for the members' computer system of the public institutions based on the saving power system.

비티아이가 ''실적''보다는 ''실속'' 우선의 ESCO사업 추진에 힘입어 연일 성장일로를 달리고 있다. 1970년 시계 제조사업으로 출발한 이 회사가 에너지사업에 뛰어든 것은 지난 98년. 소재옥 본부장이 직접 개발한 모터절전기가 전동기의 정격용량과 회전수를 그대로 유지하면서 전기사용량은 $10\%$ 감소하고 모터의 수명은 연장해주는 효과를 발휘함에 따라 주목받기 시작했다. 모터절전기와 조명절전기를 중심으로 한 내실있는 ESCO사업이 요즘 더욱 그 진가를 발휘하는 듯하다.

공장설비, 빌딩설비 및 일반 산업설비에 사용되고 있는 전동기는 일정부하에서 연속적으로 사용되고 있을 뿐만 아니라, 단속적인 변동부하가 많고 특히 펜, 블로어, 펌프 등은 시간 및 계절에 따라 변동되고 있다. 일반적으로 최적의 유량(공기, 물)을 얻기 위해서 유량제어를 하고 있지만 종래부터 택하여 오던 패턴 및 조정변에 의한 방법에 비하여 인버터에 의한 회전수 제어에서는 소비전력이 대폭적으로 줄어든다.

In this research, the electric power consumptions of the electrical machinery and appliances selected in the Seoul division of Korea Electrical Safety Corporation were measured. The power-saving efficiency was investigated by comparing the amounts of the reserved electric power when the Saver was on or off through measuring that of the reserved electric power before and after equipping the selected appliances with the Saver, a cutoff of the reserved electric power. As a result, the power-saving efficiency was around 18% when the Saver was installed. It can be ascribed to the removal of the source wasting electrical energy. Furthermore, by blocking the reserved electric power, the electric fire can be originally prevented and also the life time of the electrical machinery and appliances can be postponed.
