Until now, the study of Internet addiction have focused on (1)Internet overuse (2)addiction (3)the real situation of disability in order. This approach have given a social awareness about Internet addiction as well as have been used as base for introduction of psychological and emotional means to prevent and treat Internet addiction. However, There are very few an ethical approach that is related in human values that what purpose does people use Internet for and how to use Internet. Accordingly, This study provides teleological, deontological, virtue and responsible ethics of Internet addiction. And, this study insist that Internet addiction is a wrongdoing on the basis of four ethical views. Based on these claims, this study stress the needs for Internet ethical education as a program to prevent and treat Internet addiction and se to tu1rn pop1 computer ethics into theoretical computer ethics.

In the field of finance, Trading System of Securities is a very vulnerable application when it faces any small problems just for one minute. Since Trading System changes its environment from mainframes to client/server, its safety becomes the most important factor. Even though most If systems are configured by general guidelines currently, Trading System is an exception that it is configured by specific and rather ad hoc guidelines in order to ensure its safe management. In this thesis, I will prove the validity of specific and ad hoc configuration in the environment of Trading Systems where I use both XA interface system and Non-XA interface to configure its system based on 3-Tier Client/server computing environment through middleware, TP-Monitor, in the X/Open DTP Model. In order to validate the Trading System, I will compare and analyze the error of data of an order and ability to restore using both XA and Non-XA interfaces while testing take-over scenario on the assumption of the system's failure.

Vitellogenesis, an important reproductive process in oviparous animals, includes the processes of hormonally regulated synthesis of yolk precursor protein, vitellogenin (Vg), and their deposition in ovarian oocytes as a vitellin which is an important energy source as well as buoyancy regulator of the egg. Vg genes consist of a gene family that encompasses a large number of lipoproteins and produce different Mr. Vg proteins in liver. The expression of Vg is largely dependent on the estrogen, and both reproductive cycle and temperature also influence Vg synthesis. Synthetic estrogens or estrogenic pollutants was sufficient to induce Vg in both sexes of oviparous vertebrates. Therefore, the estrogenic induction of vitellogenesis in male has been used for biological marker in the screening of estrogenicity of certain endocrine disrupting compounds and the monitoring the world-wide contamination of estrogenic compounds in wild life. In the studies on the biological hazard and influence of endocrine disrupting chemicals using the Vg induction in oviparous males, it is important to consider the reproductive cycle, zoogeography and biodiversity of the wild life animals in Korea.

This paper proposes renovation guidelines for impaired persons' facilities in Chungcheongnam-Do by reviewing the conditions of the facilities based on the standard and deinstitutionalization trends in foreign facilities. The facilities were located far from the downtown of cities. Therefore, education and adaptation programs are necessary for these people to return to society. Recombining the rooms for a living room-oriented unit considering the structure system of the facilities allows good adaptation to home-based living conditions for impaired people. The area per person will be increases by renovations to a living room-oriented unit that makes upgrades to near foreign standards, such as The USA and The UK.

Recently, microalgae which can produce high-value products have attracted increasing attention for biological conversion of $CO_2$. However, low photosynthetic efficiency and productivity have limited the practical use of microalgae. Thus, we developed microdroplet photobioreactor for the analysis of photoautotrophic growth of model alga, Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. $CO_2$ transfer rate was increased by integrating micropillar arrays and adjusting height of microchamber. These results were identified by change of cell growth rate and fluorescence intensity. Lastly, the photoautotrophic growth kinetics of C. reinhardtii in microdroplet photobioreactor were investigated under different $CO_2$ concentrations and light intensities for 96 hours. As a result, microdroplet photobioreactor was efficient platform for isolation and rapid evaluation of microalgal strains which have enhanced productivity of high-value products and growth performance.

At this time, our country's social welfare system for the handicapped is switching to increase independence, education is the most important. This study increases the quality of Visual handicapped people's life which have limit to learn and reduces their inconvenience which may occur during their independent school life through the development of the system which helps them safely to reach their destination by themselves using IT technologies in an educational institute which helps their ability to get information and be independent. This study supports Visual handicapped people to move safely by using cell phone which is necessary items for most modern people, RFID tags and white canes with antenna and reader which read the information installed in the raised blocks outside of school buildings and in the hall or aisle inside of buildings and inform the path by voice and vibration.

We isolated and identified a novel probiotic strain, Lactobacillus sakei proBio65 from Kimchi. To determine whether L. sakei proBio65 has an immunomodulatory effect, we investigated cells via an in vitro screening system which co-cultured freshly isolated mesenteric lymphocyte with probiotics. A significant increase of $Foxp3^+$ transcription regulatory factor expression was observed, followed by an increase in anti-inflammatory cytokines transcription regulatory factor. L. sakei proBio65 exhibited high levels of the IL-10/IL-12 production ratio and enhanced Foxp3 expression in vitro. L. sakei proBio65 may thus be therapeutically useful for the modulation of inflammatory immune disorders.

The oil spill accident near Goeje Island on April 3, 1997 was analyzed using two RADARSAT SAR images. The first scene was acquired 3 days after the accident as an extended low beam mode and the second scene was acquired 12 hours after the first scene as a standard beam mode. The two scenes showed slicks not only by oil spills but also by oil spill look-alikes caused by wind sheltering, low wind, natural film, and etc. These slicks were analyzed and classified, and natural films produced from aquaculture farms around Goeje Island were also suggested as a strong candidate for slicks on SAR images. The study with two SAR imags indicated the oil spill patterns which spreaded to the southwest immediately after the accident and switched the direction to the east. The spreading patterns shown in two SAR images also showed good agreement with in-situ observations.

Stereochemistries of acetoxy 1,3-oxathiolane 1 were determined by two methods. First, the structures of $\alpha$ isomer 7 and $\beta$ isomer 9 were confirmed by the difference of their conversion rates to dihydrooxathiin 2 under acid catalysis. When the acetoxy leaving group is located in trans relationship to sulfur, a isomer in which carboxanilide is less hindered sterically against the 1,3-oxathiolane ring is $\beta$ isomer 7, and the other isomer of which the reaction rate is slower than 7 is $\beta$ isomer 9. Second, in the deuterium reactions of diastereomeric sulfoxides, the isomers of which methine hydrogen is substituted to deuterium were cis isomers 15 and 17, and another isomers of which methyl hydrogen is substituted to deuterium were trans isomers 16 and 18. Substitution of either methine or methyl hydrogen to deuterium resulted from stereospecific ring opening followed by recyclization by [2,3] sigmatropic rearrangement.

A 57-year-old man with dyspnea was transferred to our institution. Echocardiography demonstrated grade III aortic valve regurgitation with a bicuspid aortic valve. The preoperative coronary angiography showed a left single nary artery. Replacement of the aortic valve was performed. Ventricular fibrillation developed during weaning patient of cardiopulmonary bypass after aortotomy repair. An anomalous origin of the coronary arteries is an incidental finding. However, in patients who are undergoing aortic valve replacement, a can significantly complicate the procedure. If this is present, then it is imperative that the clearly identified and the required procedure should be modified to avoid injury to these.
