Electronic Catalogue Based Cutting Parameter Selection (전자 카탈로그식 절삭변수 선정의 자동화)

  • This study presents an electronic catalogue based cutting parameter selection system using MS Access software. The proposed system has been designed to electronically select proper cutting conditions based on the stored data base. The existing approaches used in most small and medium sized companies are basically to use manufacturing engineer's experience or to find the recommended values from the manufacturing engineer handbook. These processes are often time consuming and inconsistent, especially when a new engineer is involved. Therefore, this study proposes a simple, yet quick and consistent electronic catalogue based cutting parameter selection method which uses MS Access in terms of programming and database implementation. Consequently, the proposed system could automatically generate the proper cutting conditions (feed, depth of cut, and cutting speed) as soon as the input data (proper information about the tool and work material) is given. Thanks to the simple structure and popularity of the MS Access, the engineer could be quickly accustomed to the system and easily modify/insert/delete the database if necessary.

  • Today people are very interested in an electronic commerce based on web according to the rapid growth of Internet and multimedia technology. Buyers want the special services for themselves as they become more reasonable, wiser and deepening the tendency of personality. But today most electronic commerce only serves the catalog of goods which buyers see and choose shapes and standards of goods. It is needed sale agent using sale clerks' knowledge beyond the level of service only offering the information about goods to satisfY buyers. So in this thesis buyers can buy the goods suiting buyers' taste using ISA(lntelligent Sale Agent), sale clerks in cyber in place of sale clerks in actual shops in real world. The use of this kind of intelligent sale agent makes buyers save the time for searching for goods and do shopping suiting buyers' taste.

  • 오늘날 B2B 전자상거래의 폭발적인 성장과 더불어 온라인 상에서 다수의 구매자와 공급자가 참여하여 다양한 형태의 거래를 수행하는 B2B e-Marketplace의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 하지만 현재 B2B e-Marketplace 상황은 front-end 부분의 단순한 키워드 기반의 제품 카탈로그 검색만 제공할 뿐, 공급자의 재고상황, 생산 일정 그리고 제품의 배송 및 구매자에 따른 판매자의 정책 및 전략 등의 back-end 부분을 고려하지 않고 있다. 따라서 B2B e-Marketplace에서 주문처리와 배송 과정을 효율적으로 처리하기 위해서는, back-end 부분에서 구매자가 요구하는 제품들에 대하여 공급자의 생산계획과 수요예측, 재고처리, 수송 및 고객관리 등에 관한 정책을 실시간으로 정확하게 반영하고 처리할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 비즈니스 룰 시스템을 이용하여 공급자의 ATP와 CTP등의 생산계획과 비즈니스 정책을 실시간으로 반영하는 e-Marketplace 제품 추천 시스템을 제안하고 구현하였다. 본 논문은 공급자에게는 생산계획의 안정화, 납기 준수 율 제고의 효과를 제공하며, 구매자에게는 납기일의 불확실성을 제거함으로써 안정된 생산 및 판매계획 수립을 제공한다

  • We can buy products everywhere from Web-based shopping mall using desktop, cellular phone or PDA. To guarantee the various services for different equipment, shopping mail systems should allow a lot of different size or quality of images to provide a good service to their customers. Despite of same product image, each shopping mall saves the image in its storage space individually. Furthermore, all the product images in each shopping mall are stored as images of different quality. It may waste resources of shopping mail server and bring us developmental overhead. It is difficult to update all the images for product that is used by distributed e-catalog in everywhere. In this paper, we extended the proposed Web Image Server (WIS) for sharing one image with all clients and processing Image dynamically, so that we strengthened the function of managing shopping mall as a client of WIS and added the function of recording clients'log file and image catalog for shopping mall. We measured the response time from WIS and conventional e-Commerce site using by WAS which is one of the stress test tools for Web application. Furthermore, we measured WIS responses image requests in reasonable time when the current user is increased.

  • Until recently, there have been fundamental changes in many fields of industries. Especially, the mass-production is being changed into mass-customization. In order to construct a 3D e-catalog system far the utilization of mass-customization, there are several matters to consider. Setting realistic 3D image should be effective fur providing the customers with the product information with reality and raising their interest. This study explains the whole process to convert CAD data formed from the production activities into VRML data used in virtual reality environment. Examples are given and discussed to validate the proposed activity.

  • Plant, civil engineering and construction equipment data of overseas construction are obtained and then analyzed, classified and integrated by experts. With those refined data set, we built classification system and defined property information with reference to international standard (ISO 15926, IRDL). If class in ISO 15926 is predefined for equipment of interest, we used the class as is. If not, we created and defined new classes on the basis of ISO 15926 classes. If there is similar class for equipment of interest, extension or inheritance methods were used. As a result, classification system of five levels and 637 classes were built and construction equipment information were expressed in open structure of XML such as tree structure of classification system and detailed information with number equipments for each specific equipment. We also developed the electronic catalog system which is basically equipment information management system providing various product search functions.

  • Previous to do business computerization of industry field, it isn't efficient for write down all account book. Recently many companies competitive is raised from competence improvement for a task and cost-cutting for electronic data processing system. Moreover, sudden increase of internet-user need effective management information system and share information because of network connection. Accordingly, it needs to get out of text base information system from multimedia base system and it need to introduce E-catalog system of merchandise information. In addition, it is required technological development and merchandising with movement, real time omnipresent. carrying. In this paper, established portable B2B system with movement of precious metals and jewels field's portable terminal from mobile technology.

  • 국내·외 사회 전 분야의 급속한 전자상거래 발전에 따라 해운·항만 분야에도 인터넷 사업의 진출기회가 확대되고 전략적 활동이 증가하고 있다. 그 중에서도 인터넷을 기반으로 세계가 하나의 시장으로 통합되는 경향을 보이고 있어 기업의 활동 범위가 광역화되고 있으며, 시간과 장소의 통합이 기업간 거래에서 중요시 되고 있다. 지금 세계 각 국은 해상연계 물류, 무역 등 물품의 중개 관련 사이트 및 선박 운송에 따른 각종 해운관련 서비스를 가상 공간에서 제공하는 사이버 해운 시장의 선점 및 구축에 모든 힘을 쏟고 있다. 해상 운송에 따른 각종 수송서비스를 생산, 공급하는 경제활동을 해운 활동이라 한다. 해운 시장의 불확실성, 다변성, 국제성, 개방성을 특성으로 하는 해운 거래는 전자상거래를 통해 효율적으로 처리될 수 있다. 즉, 해운 거래의 비용 감소와 양질의 서비스로 선주, 화주 등 거래 당사자들의 만족도를 높일 수가 있다. 이에 따라 국내에서도 오프라인상의 해운 거래소가 사이버 해운거래소로 옮겨질 예정이다. 가상 공간을 통한 해운 거래의 구체적인 장점은 다음과 같다. 구매업체는 기존 공급업체에 대한 접근 및 새로운 공급업체의 확보가 용이하며, 경쟁 입찰 등을 통해 저렴한 비용으로 물품을 구입할 수 있다. 판매 업체의 경우 채널 확장이 가능하며 판매비를 절감할 수 있다. 또한 e-Marketplace의 입장에서 보면 해운 산업 전체를 위한 새로운 시장을 형성할 수 있으며, 이를 통해 지속적인 수익 창출도 가능하다. 이러한 해운 거래의 B2B e-Marketplace의 출현은 향후 해운 거래의 새로운 패러다임으로 자리 잡을 것이다. 사이버 해운 거래소는 선박 매매와 용선, 화물 거래를 위한 선·화주의 연결, 표준화된 카탈로그 구축, 각종 전자문서 생성, 전자 결제, 온라인 보험 가입, 해운 선용품 판매 및 관련 정보 제공 등 해운 거래를 위한 종합적인 서비스가 제공되어야 한다. 이를 위해, 본문에서는 e-Marketplace의 효율적인 연계 방안에 대해 해운 관련 업종별로 제시하고 있다. 리스트 제공형, 중개형, 협력형, 보완형, 정보 연계형 등이 있는데, 이는 해운 분야에서 사이버 해운 거래가 가지는 문제점들을 보완하고 업종간 협업체제를 이루어 원활한 거래를 유도할 것이다. 그리하여 우리나라가 동북아 지역뿐만 아니라 세계적인 해운 국가 및 물류 ·정보 중심지로 성장할 수 있는 여건을 구축하는데 기여할 것이다.

Feasibility of Using Norad Orbital Elements for Pass Programming and Catalog Generation for High Resolution Satellite Images (고해상도 위성영상 촬영계획 수립 및 카탈로그 생성을 위한 NORAD 궤도 데이터의 이용 가능성 연구)

  • At present, many ground stations all over the world are using NORAD orbit element data in order to track and communicate with Earth orbiting satellites. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) observes thousands of Earth orbiting objects on daily basis and provides their orbital information via internet. The orbital data provided by NORAD, which is also called two line element (TLE) sets, allows ground stations to predict the time-varying positions of satellites accurately enough to communicate with the satellites. In order to complete the mission of a high resolution remote sensing satellite which requires very high positional determination and control accuracy, however, a mission control and tracking ground station is dedicated for the observation and positional determination of the satellite rather than using NORAD orbital sets. In the case of KITSAT-3, NORAD orbital elements are currently used for image acquisition planning and for the processing of acquired images due to the absence of a dedicated KITSAT-3 tracking ground system. In this paper, we tested and analyzed the accuracy of NORAD orbital elements and the appropriate prediction model to determine how accurately a satellite acquisites an image of the location of interest and how accurately a ground processing system can generate the catalog of the images.

  • As the time-to-market gets more important for competitiveness of an enterprise in manufacturing industry, it becomes important to shorten the development cycle of a product. Reuse of existing design models and e-Catalog for components are required for faster product development. To achieve this goal, an electric catalog must provide parametric CAD models since parametric information is indispensable for configuration design. There are difficulties in building up a parametric library of all the necessary combination using a CAD system, since we have too many combinations of components for a product. For example, there are at least 80 million combinations of components on one page of paper catalog of a mold base. To solve this problem, we propose the method of table parametric for the automatic generation of parametric CAD models. Any combination of mold base can be generated by mapping between a classification system of an electric catalog and the design parameters set of the table parametric. We propose how to select parametric models and to construct the design parameters set.
