  • In order to develop and inspect the electronic controller of propulsion system, It must emulate the electronic signal similar to actual signal. The applied signals on propulsion system are engine speed, turbine speed, various kinds of temperatue signal, pressure signal, LVDT/RVDT position signal and so forth. Contents are the development of emulator that simulate the electronic signals similar to actual signals.

  • 주사전자현미경은 시료표면에 전자빔을 주사하여 시료와 전자빔간의 상호작용으로 발생하는 이차전자(SE)와 후방산란전자(BSE)를 이용하여 시료표면을 관찰하는 장비이다. 일반적으로 텅스텐필라멘트를 사용하며, 10E-5 mbar이하 압력의 고진공에서 시료관찰이 이루어진다. 고진공 시료관찰시 도체 시료는 표면 코팅 없이 관찰이 가능하지만, 부도체 시료의 경우 전자빔에 의한 대전(Charging)현상이 발생하여 이미지가 왜곡되며, 이를 방지하기 위해 금, 백금 등의 금속을 표면에 코팅하여야 한다. 하지만 10E-1 mbar 이상 압력의 저진공에서는 부도체 시료도 전자빔에 의한 대전(Charging)현상이 발생하지 않아 생물시료 등의 부도체 시료를 표면코팅 없이 관찰할 수 있다. 본 발표에서는 현재 개발 중인 CeB6 필라멘트를 탑재한 저진공 주사전자현미경의 차동배기구조를 보여준다. 차동배기에 의해 가동 압력 10E-1 mbar이상의 저진공을 유지하는 시료실과 CeB6 필라멘트를 사용하기 위한 10E-6 mbar이하의 고진공을 유지하는 전자총실의 진공 배기특성을 보고한다.

Considering the Multi-Purpose Display Designed for Aircraft Lightning Protection (낙뢰보호를 고려한 항공기용 다목적 디스플레이 설계)

  • In this paper, we introduce measures designed content for RTCA DO-160 F, Section 22 tests performed to verify the effects of indirect lightning and testing process of the test was carried out in the multi-purpose display certification process. This is referred to as indirect effects of lightning capability of an aircraft having electrical electronic equipment failure or damage to bring lightning induced voltages. In order to protect the avionics from lightning indirect effects of these aircraft are analyzing the effects of lightning strikes on aircraft and aircraft systems and interior design needs protection against the threat on their part. In this paper, we introduce RTCA DO-160 F, component selection process according to Section 22 category selection method and the selected level for determining the level of such measures for protection against lightning of multipurpose display for this aircraft. It also introduces the actual test process to confirm that the designed effectiveness of the selected part. We expect a good example of the lightning planned for future development of measures designed avionics through each step of the process introduced this.

Performance Characteristics of the Thermal Management System for Passenger Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle (수소연료전지 자동차의 열관리시스템 성능특성에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to investigate performance characteristics of the thermal management system for passenger hydrogen fuel cell vehicle under various operating conditions. The thermal management systems comprised of a stack cooling system, an electric device cooling system and an air conditioning system for a passenger room were tested with driving conditions. As a result, in highway driving mode, the cooling performance of the stack cooling system with air conditioning on condition was 28.8 % lower than that of the air conditioning off condition. And cooling load of the electric cooling system in the city driving mode was 65.6% higher than that of the highway driving mode.

The Emission and Characteristics Measurement of Electron Beam and Basis Construction for Education Usage (전자빔 인출 및 빔 계측과 교육 활용을 위한 기반구축)

  • The MM22 microtron has used as a cancer therapy machine from Nov. 1986 to Feb. 2006. This machine was moved and installed to a radiation research center to use as an education and research tool from treatment machine because of aging of MM22 microtron. In this paper, for extracting the electron beam from microtron, operation principle of the microtron, system characteristics of each module, and pulse structures were reviewed. The beam extraction and measurement were performed after measuring pulses of each major module and extraction trials in the beam line. After finishing the movement of MM22 microtron, the 30mA target current in the case of 10 MV X-ray beam was extracted and the beam flatness of radiation distribution was acquired within 3% error ratio after 100 MU was irradiated on X-omatV Film at SSD 100 cm and field size $10{\times}10cm^2$. As a result, the microtron movement and new installation was performed with success.

Influence of the Nozzle Contraction Angles of Gaseous Extinguishing Systems on Discharge Noise (가스계 소화시스템 노즐 수축각이 방출소음에 미치는 영향)

  • Fire extinguishing systems are essential equipment in all indoor facilities to address unexpected fire scenarios, and appropriate fire extinguishing agent should be used depending on the place and object to protect. Among these, gaseous fire-extinguishing systems are used to protect electronic equipment. Therefore, inert gases that do not undergo chemical reactions are used mainly in those systems. On the other hand, recently, owing to the high integration of electronic equipment, there are some cases, in which large noise generated from gaseous systems damage the electronic equipment. In this study, numerical analysis of the discharge noise with various nozzle contraction angles was carried out to improve the gas fire extinguishing system. Numerical analysis was carried out using ANSYS FLUENT ver 18.1. The causes of the noise were elucidated using the swirl distribution. The noise level of the modified model was reduced by approximately 6 dB compared to the reference model, which is similar to the result of a previous study, confirming the validity of the method.

  • Avionics Full-DupleX Ethernet (AFDX) is a next-generation avionics network interface technology that is widely applied in the latest aircraft to replace ARINC429 and MIL-STD-1553B. However, the criteria for authenticating an avionics network consisting of AFDX are very scarce. Using AFDX Protocol Analyzer developed by the Korea Electronics Technology Research Institute and AFDX Tap developed by the Korea Aerospace University, we proposed a technology of certification practicality that can verify the normal functioning of avionics equipment with AFDX network interface. Our proposed technology provided the ability to collect precision packets, to verify AFDX specification compliance, and perform automatic tests to reduce the time and cost of authentication of AFDX avionics devices.

  • 선박 산업에서의 경쟁력 강화를 위해 IT 융합 기술 기반의 고부가가치 기술 및 서비스에 대한 요구가 증대되고 있다. IT 기반의 선박 탑재 장비의 증가로 인해 이러한 장비의 효율적인 관리 및 제어, 이에 기반을 둔 고급 서비스 개발을 위해서 필수적으로 해상에서의 광대역 무선 통신망 구축이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 선박 간 무선 통신망 구축 및 시뮬레이션 구조에 대해 살펴보고, 해상 환경 시뮬레이션을 위한 시뮬레이션 모델을 제시한다. 또한 효율적인 해상 통신 환경 시뮬레이션을 위한 QualNet 시뮬레이터에서의 BER(Bit Error Rate) 패턴 기반의 시뮬레이션 구조를 제시한다.

  • In this paper, designing and implementing multi-communication middleware in multi-thread environmet through event-based synchronization method are proposed for stable data transmission of electronic optical equipment, which requires combining camera and various sensors to process multiple high-speed data. To verify the performance of the implemented communication middleware, image data and sensor data were sent to compare differences in reception-based and transmission-based cycles, and the maximum number of communication possibilities to transmit and process multiple was measured and analyzed. In addition, the proposed communication middleware's performance was verified through experiments such as validating the integrity of the transmitted data and measuring the Round Trip Time.

  • 우리나라의 무역 활동을 처리하는 항만은 국가 주요시설로 보안에 만전을 기하고 있다. 그러나 항만의 면적이 넓고 복잡하기 때문에 사각지대가 존재하고 사각지대에서의 불법행위 단속 건수는 매년 증가하고 있다. 이에 항만의 보안 강화를 위한 대책이 필요하다. 본 논문은 항만의 상황을 이동형 CCTV에 부착된 IoT 센서들로 인식하여 YOLOv5 딥러닝 모델로 분석한 후 웹 대시보드에 시각화하는 항만 보안 시스템을 제안한다. 이동형 CCTV는 특정 위치로 직접 이동할 수 있어 거리에 따라 해상도가 낮아지는 기존 CCTV의 단점을 보완할 수 있다. 또한 해당 시스템은 주변에서 쉽게 구할 수 있는 장비들과 오픈소스 라이브러리를 활용하기 때문에 다른 보안장비들에 비해 효율적인 비용으로 높은 보안 효과를 얻을 수 있다는 강점을 지닌다. 본 시스템은 항만시설뿐 아니라 군사시설, 물류시설 등 보안을 중요시하는 다른 분야에 확대 적용될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
