  • As the electronic market grows, the vendors establish internet shopping mall with a plenty of electronic catalogs and prepare to respond rapid electronic market growth. Consequently, building attractable electronic catalogs is very important to give a customer satisfaction. Based on prior researches, this study suggest a research model to understand the factors of electronic catalogs and their impact on the customer's relationship quality. As a result, this study confirmed that accuracy, timeless, interaction, presentation, and information structure of electronic catalog were important factors. And their impact on the customer satisfaction and trust were proved to be substantial. These results will contribute to provide implicit guidelines to the developers of internet shopping malls.

Presentation is the most important factors of electronic catalog. Information structure and accuracy also heavily impact on user satisfaction. And their impact on the customer satisfaction and trust were proved to be substantial. These results will contribute to provide implicit guidelines to the developers of internet shopping malls.

  • This study presents the web based cutting parameter selection system using Group Technology (GT). The GT is basically applied to classify and code the work material and cutting process which are main factors to affect cutting parameter selection. The proposed system has been designed to electronically select proper cutting conditions based on the stored GT database. The existing approaches used in most small and medium sized companies are basically to use manufacturing engineer's experience or to find the recommended values from the manufacturing engineers handbook. These processes are often time consuming and inconsistent, especially when a new engineer is involved. Consequently, the proposed system could automatically and consistently generate the proper cutting conditions (feed, depth of cut, and cutting speed) as soon as relatively simple data input is given thanks to the classified GT database.

  • There are two types of mold parts, ready-made standard parts and ETO (Engineered-to-Order) parts, the latter are of increasing importance to manufacturers. However, the ETO parts require more engineering support and communication than the ready-made standard parts. Existing e-Catalog modules provide classification structures of products that allow customers to select products based on their needs, and the trade begins with the provided specification. However, machine parts or mold parts have different purchasing patterns. Customers do not purchase the ready-made standard parts offered by an e-Catalog. They usually (1) add own options to the provided specifications or (2) change specification items such as length. To support these trades, a new e-Catalog system is proposed. The proposed system is based on the product design process and the specification selection process in addition to the parts classification structure.

  • In order to increase the learning effect in minimal time, it is required that the lecturer tailor the materials to suit the needs and achievement levels of each individual. However, in lecture environments such as in junior colleges. many students enroll under one professor, and many courses are open under the same course title at each department. where each enrolled student possesses different academic needs and achievement levels Therefore. this paper proposes a learning system based on a hypothesis that if a lecturer shares his/her course material to students in other classes of the same subject, and opens up other professors' grading and marks of the same subject to his students, their achievement levels will improve by utilizing other peers' achievements and needs. Also, in order to improve the learning performance, we utilized an e-catalog in order to access students' grading, corrections and coaching, ultimately saving time and cost.
