VR Contents Design using Tangible Interaction (Tangible Interaction을 활용한 가상현실 콘텐츠 디자인에 관한 연구)

  • This paper studied tangible interaction design of VR platform and its applications that are economic In development process and cost, flexible by contents and installation conditions, and that has business potential for consumer market. The design solution uses video based virtual world and tangible interaction by motion tracking. Our platform enables a user to monitor their action and to collaborate with other users of remote place within attractive interaction feedback. We developed two design applications, Glass Xylophone 2003 and VR Class, in our platform. Glass Xylophone 2003 provides interactive music performance and helps self practice of glass xylophone. VR Class gives more serious distance learning experience with tutoring and group collaboration. They are presented in public exhibitions and tested by exhibition visitors. They showed application potential of this design solution in interactive game, distance learning, and entertainment field.

  • The interest of show industry as leisure and culture bring about quantitative increase of public facility. It indicate the effort of bring culture benefits to the disable and the general who want detail information. Especially, there is less technology and service to help them. So it is very necessary method which is using the audial and visual transfer technology to solve the limitation. This study aimed at indicating the method that applied the audial and visual transfer technology which are useful for both The disable and General Audience.

  • Multi-touch display system has recently attracted world wide attention due to easy accessibility to the various interactive media without any specialized equipments. Especially, Microsoft Sphere(R) shows a considerable promise in treating non-fiat multi-touch display. The distinctive feature of the system is a stable multi-touch interaction on a spherical display. To extend the possibility of the interactions to the more various display surfaces, this paper propose a multi-touch interaction system in the circumstance of the irregular convex surface. The proposed method can be used efficiently in various tangible interface, for example, the interactive diorama system at the exhibition or the tangible arcade game.

  • The purpose of this study is not only preserving and restoring our nation's precious cultural inheritances transmitted for half millennia but informing the world of them. This study also aims recognizing the necessity of transmitting them to prosperity, constructing three-dimensional database by using a photogrammetry and VRML method and utilizing basic data of treasure exhibition with the progress of exhibition technique development on cyber space. Therefore, in this study, I suggest three dimensional modeling method that acquire three dimensional database about cultural properties through photogrammetry method which can acquire three-dimensional coordinates with easy and can express various color and stuff-feeling by using VRML.

구글어스 기반의 전자문화지도 설계 및 구현

  • 지속적인 정보기술의 발전은 사회를 성장시킴과 동시에 사용자에게 더 많은 정보와 요구사항을 발생시킨다. 이에 따라 최근 디지털 융합 기술에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며 학문 분야에서의 디지털 융합은 새로운 학문으로서 다양한 방안으로 활용될 수 있다. 전자문화지도는 전자지도상에 문화정보를 디지털화하여 표현한 것이다. 세부적으로 점, 선, 면의 공간데이타와 연계하여 문화정보를 나타낼 수 있으며 시간, 공간(지도), 주제(문화) 세 가지 축을 기반으로 문화정보를 다양하게 표현할 수 있다. 따라서 전자문화지도는 인문 지역 연구를 위한 방법으로 활용될 수 있으며 결과물을 전자문화지도를 통해 전시함으로써 연구결과를 확산시킬 수 있다. 기존의 전자문화지도는 2차원 형태의 이미지 지도를 기반으로 하는 것이 대부분이다. 그러나 이 방법은 지역이나 공간에 대한 입체적이고 사실적인 정보제공이 어렵고 지도 확대 시 이미지 깨짐 현상과 같은 문제점이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점 해결하기 위하여 3차원 지도 서비스인 구글어스(Google Earth)를 활용하여 지역연구를 위한 전자문화지도를 설계 및 구현한다.

  • The Misiryeong East-West road opened in July 2006, after the opening of the Expressway between Seoul and Yangyang in June 2017, has led to a recession caused by a decrease in the number of visitors to nearby region, leading to the emergence of economic crisis in the surrounding region. Against this background, in order to revitalize the Healing Road in Misiryeong, we study to find a way to revitalize the region by creating a landmark in Ulsanbawi Rock. In order to create a landmark of Ulsanbawi Rock, an observation cafe, exhibition facilities, and convenience facilities were built, and a monorail was used to view Ulsanbawi Rock, and a healing plaza, resting area, and outdoor performance hall were installed to promote the local economy.

The Multiple Traveling Purchaser Problem for Minimizing the Maximal Acquisition Completion Time in Wartime (전시 최장 획득완료시간 최소화를 위한 복수 순회구매자 문제)

  • In war time, minimizing the logistics response time for supporting military operations is strongly needed. In this paper, i propose the mathematical formulation for minimizing the maximal acquisition completion time in wartime or during a state of emergency. The main structure of this formulation is based on the traveling purchaser problem (TPP), which is a generalized form of the well-known traveling salesman problem (TSP). In the case of the general TPP, an objective function is to minimize the sum of the traveling cost and the purchase cost. However, in this study, the objective function is to minimize the traveling cost only. That's why it's more important to minimize the traveling cost (time or distance) than the purchase cost in wartime or in a state of emergency. I generate a specific instance and find out the optimal solution of this instance by using ILOG OPL STUDIO (CPLEX version 11.1).

  • Aircraft battle damage repair(ABDR) is emergency repair method for the damaged aircraft in battle field. The main purpose of the ABDR is to increase the readiness of fighter aircraft during wartime. While many studies have been conducted to develop ABDR method, few efforts have focused on evaluation of damage and determination of the size of hole caused by enemy's anti-aircraft artillery attack. The aim of this study is essentially to quantify damage of aircraft wing attacked by anti-aircraft artillery. The computer simulations was performed to accomplish this goal. A number of simulations have been carried out to compare size of damages under various attack conditions. In conclusion, it was revealed that the size of damage varied depending on the type and direction of cannonball. Furthermore, in this paper, the proper path sizes are suggested for different damage conditions.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine three bird-watching science museums near the Yellow-sea area. The bird-watching science museum is similar to conventional science museum in terms of exhibiting objects, but in detail the bird-watching science museum is specialized in bird-watching and study it's ecology. So the sight should be near the place where the bird can be seen easily and the building should be built in ecological way. Now establishing museum in local area as a community development is pretty popular in Korea. as tourism purpose. But the main purpose of bird-watching museum should be educational and cultural way and next tourism. So in this study I tried to pick designing point of architecture and exhibition of bird-watching museum.

  • In 21 century, we entered the multiculture society. Multi cultural society became a trend. It is known that 65.5 percents of Koreans find difficuty in using foreign languages. The need for intellignet and machine translation is increasing rapidly. This paper suggests a translation system which is mainly using in MICE industry. There are many applications provide translation, however, using multuple translayion appication is rare. We provide untact service which can import many application tools to provide a better service.
