한국인터넷정보센터가 전문조사기관인 인터넷매트릭스에 의뢰하여 지난 3월 전국 3,582기구 10,058명을 대상으로 실시한 '인터넷 이용자 실태조사'에서 2001년 3월말 현재 우리나라 7세이상 월평균 1회이상 인터넷을 이용하는 사람은 모두 2,093만명으로 지난해말 1,904만명에서 3개월만에 189만명이 증가한 것으로 조사되었다. 1999.10월 이후 5번째로 실시된 이 실태 조사는 인터넷 이용현황과 이용 형태를 정확하게 조사, 분석함으로써 인터넷 비즈니스 와 정책수립의 기초자료로 제공하기 위하여 분기에 1회씩 실시되고 있으며, 향후에도 지속적으로 실시할 예정이다.

ETLARS is Hangul information retrieval system and serves technical information in electronics & telecommunications fields. ETLARS has been opened to outside users since Nov. 1991. The number of subscribers is increasing continuously and we are proud of the search frequency. In this paper ETLARS system is introduced briefly for the potential users.

The purpose of this study is to improve guidelines for public library services to deaf community in Korea. For this study, literature review, case study and survey were performed. Based upon the results, the mandatory and optional elements were suggested within the framework of "Standards and Guidelines for Library Services for the Disabled" developed by National Library Support Center for the Disabled in Korea in 2009. Based upon these elements, public libraries should modify and supplement the guidelines reflecting the local circumstances. Eventually, this guideline will help librarians to provide professional and effective library services to deaf people.

The purpose of this study is to suggest formulation of collection development policies of electronic materials for special libraries related to economy and society. First, according to the basic directions and aims of special libraries, the written collection development policies should be codified. Second, the electronic materials selection committee or collection development committee should be formed at the organization level. Third, the special libraries should make advantageous contracts of purchase based on the cooperations between libraries through the formation of a consortium. Fourth, librarians in charge of collection development need to have substantial work abilities to cope with their role and expertism in the electronic environment. Fifth, to activate electronic materials, the strategy for budget increases should be made.

It is expected that the integrated control service of the public sector will be increased for the safety of citizens in the future. Therefore, In this study, we analyzed the classification of CCTV control center and the characteristics of interior design. The survey was conducted at eight control centers in Seoul that were constructed since 2007 and analyzed according to the criteria of general matters, services, spatial basic information, spatial structure, and internal structure. The results of the survey are summarized as follows. Based on the results of the study, the Integrated Control Center is a space where the ratio of the physical environment is not high but performs important tasks for the citizens of the city, which are operated 24 hours a day, and security and security. It is characterized by the efficient space allocation for the treatment, the design of the moving line, and the connection according to the urgent work flow. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for other integrated control center environment.

Purpose: As a part of analysis of home-based cancer patients management of public health centers, regional cancer center, and hospice institution in Jeju, this study was undertaken to establish their role. Methods: We investigated current status of hospice palliative care, especially home-based cancer patients management and summary demand of public health centers. Results: Services provided through the home-based cancer patients management project included physical, emotional, spiritual and education/informative services, even though there was little difference between them. The result showed that in the view of patients there was little relationship between public health centers, regional cancer center and hospice palliative institution. Conclusion: The relationship between home-based cancer patients management and institutions should be reinforced. Patients in acute state and difficulty care of patients should be referred to regional cancer center whereas maintenance state of patients should be referred to public health center.

과학정보기능(科學情報機能)을 하나의 시스팀으로 간주(看做)할 수 있고 또한 설계(設計)할 수 있다. 최근(最近)의 과학정보(科學情報)가 내포(內包)하고 있는 문제(問題)는 그 성질상(性質上) 조직체내(組織體內)의 차원(次元)높은 배려(配慮)가 요구(要求)하고 있다. 과학(科學)을 다루는 어떤 시스팀 및 이의 여러 요소(要素)들을 계획(計劃)하고 운영(運營)하는데는 새로운 전문직종(專門職種)인 과학정보(科學情報) 전문가(專門家) 또는 문헌사(文獻士)에게 집약(集約)되는 지식(知識), 이해력(理解力) 및 기술(技術)의 총화(總和)가 요구(要求)되고 있다.

클라우드 서비스가 발전됨에 따라 자원공유를 위한 가상머신의 활용도 점차 증진되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 가상머신의 활용으로 인하여 가상 영역에 따른 보안위협이 이슈가 되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 가상 영역에 따른 보안위협으로부터 보다 안전하고 유동적인 대처를 하기 위한 시스템을 제안하였다. 해당 시스템은 물리관제센터와 가상관제센터의 연동을 통하여 상호간의 현황을 알 수 있음으로써 가상머신 모니터링, 플랫폼 간 공격연관성 분석 등이 용이하며 자원고갈공격이나 DDoS 공격과 같은 위협으로부터 안전하다. 제안하는 시스템은 향후 클라우드 서비스 운용시 물리영역과 가상영역을 총괄적으로 관리하는 통합관제센터 활용에 적합할 것으로 보인다.

The objective of this study is to prepare a source data in order to establish a standardization of scientific and technical terms in Korean language. This will contribute to accelerate the production of Korean databases in scientific and technical field and will be used as the most convenient search tool for accessing to the foreign database. This study includes the construction of the multi-lingual thesaurus comprising of Korean, English, and Japanese. First of all a theoretical background on thesaurus is reviewed, and terms are collected from JICST Thesaurus, English-Japanese List and JICST Thesaurus, Japanese-English List published by JICST in 1987. This multi-lingual thesaurus covers 38,318 terms of Korean descriptors, 2,870 terms of Korean non-descriptors, 38,318 terms of English descriptors, 11,910 terms of English non-descriptors, and 38,318 terms of Japanese descriptors, 9,789 terms of Japanese non-descriptors.

SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language) and its application to full-text database including a table, a figure and a picture are explained. A structure of SGML based full-text database Is defined by DTD(document type definition) written in SGML, and full-text itself is described with generalized markup depending on DTD. This article explains how to represent a document structure : a hierarchical structure like a chapter, a section, or a paragraph, or non-hierarchical(referencial) structure like a note, a table, a figure or a picture. Merits of SGML, electronic publishing, a retrieval system or hypertext and SGML tools are also described.
