The Effects of Visual Organization and Cooperative Learning in Problem-Solving Strategy (문제 해결 전략에서 시각적 조직화와 협동학습의 효과)

  • In this study, the effects of visual organization and cooperative learning in problem-solving strategy were investigated. Three classes (N=127) at a high school were assigned to SV (Strategy-Visual organization) group, SVC (Strategy-Visual organization-Cooperative learning) group, and control group. After instructions, students' multiple-choice problem-solving ability, strategy performing ability, anxiety about chemistry learning, perception of involvement, and motivation to learning science were examined. Although multiple-choice problem-solving ability was not different significantly, there was a significant main effect in strategy performing ability. The scores of the SV and SVC groups were significantly higher than those of the control group, especially in the subcategories of problem understanding and recalling related principles. In the tests of perception of involvement and motivation to learning science, the scores of the SV and SVC groups were also significantly higher than those of the control group. However, problem-solving strategy using visual organization could not alleviate anxiety about chemistry learning.

An Analysis of Motivation in the Earth Science part of the 7th Grade Textbooks (2007 개정 7학년 과학 교과서에 나타난 지구과학의 동기유발 요소 분석)

  • Motivation is a generative power of making learning interesting and sustaining learning for students. Textbooks are important tools in carrying out lessons. And it is meaningful to analyze how textbooks motivate learning. This study is to analyze components of motivation in learning of the 7th grade middle school science textbooks. Keller's ARCS model was used for the analysis. The result of the study is as follows. First, the eight textbooks had various components from A1 to R3. Second, analyzing textbooks by parts of the textbooks, the body had the most motivation strategies and the next was the introduction, lastly the finishing part. Third, the most frequently used strategy on the attention factor is A1. And the most frequently used strategy in the relevance factor is R3.

  • 인터넷 인구 증가와 정보자원 고도화에 따라 인터넷 사용자들은 새로운 형태의 커뮤니케이션을 스스로 발전시켜왔고 이러한 흐름이 최근 UCC의 폭발적인 증가로 이어졌다. 하지만 아직까지 사용자들이 UCC를 공유하는 동기에 대한 명확한 설명은 부재한 상황이다. UCC는 기존에 지속적으로 연구되어 왔던 온라인 커뮤니케이션 형태인 가상공동체나 온라인 구전의 참여 동기를 상당부분 계승하고 있으나 최근의 인터넷 문화와 기술 수준 변화에 부합하는 새로운 참여동기를 포함하고 있는 것으로 보여진다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 UCC 제작 동기를 파악하기 위해 UCC 제작 경험이 있는 300명의 샘플을 대상으로 설문을 수행했고, 이를 통해 UCC 제작 동기가 Self-Creation Motive, Community Commitment Motive, Self-Expression Motive, Community-Relatedness Motive, Reward Motive로 요인화될 수 있음을 밝혀냈다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 UCC를 비즈니스 모델로 하는 온라인 기업들은 보유 고객의 UCC 공유 동기 성향을 파악할 수 있고, 이를 통해 고품질의 UCC를 확보하기 위한 차별화된 전략을 제시할 수 있게 될 것이다.

The Influences of Venture Firms' Motives of Foreign Market Entry on International Preparing Activities and Business Performances - Comparison of Taiwanese and Korean Firms - (벤처기업의 해외진출동기가 국제화준비활동과 경영성과에 미치는 영향 - 대만과 한국기업의 비교 -)

  • This paper shows that the motives of foreign market entry is classified into the motive of overseas propensity(Motive(M) 1) and of the limited competition of domestic market(Motive(M) 2). International preparing activities are also divided into the activity of ex-ante forecasting and market research(Activity(A) 1), and of ex-ante cooperation and business experience with local firms(Activity(A) 2). M 1 and M2 of Taiwanese ventures can not explain the local performance, but both the influence of M 1 on international preparing activity and business performance, and inter-relationship between Performance(P) 1 and 2 are statistically significant at the 5 % level of significance. On the other hand, Korean ventures in Deadeok Innopolis show that the influence of Activity 1 such as ex-ante forecasting and market research on business performance(P 1) is statistically significant at the 5 % level of significance, but both the relationship between the motive of foreign market entry and P 1 or P 2, and inter-relationship between P 1 and P 2 are not statistically significant. This study finds out there exists the distinct difference owing to their own nationality between Taiwanese and Korean ventures.

  • 본 논문은 영 호남 양 지역의 백색가전제품(냉장고, 세탁기 두 제품에 한정함)제조기지에서 출시되는 제품의 원가분석을 통해서 강한 원가우위를 유지할 수 있을 것인가 하는 문제에 대해 먼저 양 지역의 산업군집(regional cluster)의 형성요인, 발전요인 및 경쟁력 현황을 1차, 2차 자료의 수집을 통해 분석하고 가용자료의 한계속에서 제품별 원가구성을 도시하여 비교하였다. 위 두 분석의 결과를 가지고 가용전략을 도출하였다. 글로벌 경쟁속에서 지속적인 비교우위는 점차 멀리 떨어져있는 경쟁자들이 대적할 수 없는 지방적인 것, 그것이 지식이건 관련성이건 아니면 개인 및 집단의 성취동기이건 간에, 그 내부에 놓이게 된다. 양 지역 가전산업의 발전전략으로 재료비 비중의 혁신적 절감방안(신소재 개발 R&D 추구), 국내외 관련산업과의 전략적 제휴, 고유의 우위요소 개발, 지역군집 또는 집적효과의 이용, SERM모형의 대입, 품질원가제도의 강화 등을 연역 귀납하였다.

  • Because of operating and ordering vessels over 10,000 TEU, the strategic alliance between liner shipping companies will be diversified and activated more briskly to secure cargo quantities, minimize costs, secure profits, improve service quality and manage stable business. Many of prior studies concerning strategic alliance are carried out to clarify success factors, motives or to explain how to select a good partner for success. But over 70% of strategic alliance has been resulted in failure. Because failures of strategic alliance occur much more frequently than success, negative effect factors in strategic alliance have to be measured and be adapted to changing conditions in the shipping market. To improve negative effect factors, shipping companies should make an effort to establish reliable relationships between partners and suppress claims by clearing off imprecise contract terms. And it is necessary to increase satisfaction of each individuals and minimize complexity occurred due to the exterior relationships for the successful strategic alliance.

The Effects of the Prescribed Instructional Strategy for Reducing Students' Connecting Errors in Learning Chemistry Concepts with Multiple External Representations (다중 표상을 활용한 화학 개념 학습에서 학생들의 연계 오류 감소를 위한 처방적인 교수 전략의 효과)

  • This study investigated the effects of the prescribed instructional strategy for reducing students' connecting errors in learning chemistry concepts with multiple external representations by students' field independence-dependence. Seventh graders (N=126) at a coed middle school were assigned to control and treatment groups. The students learned "Boyle's Law" and "Charles's Law" for two class periods. Results revealed that the students in the treatment group scored significantly higher than those in the control group in a conception test. The scores of the treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group in a motivational learning test, especially in 'attention' of the test. However, there was no significant interaction between the instruction and students' field independence-dependence in the two tests. Most students in the treatment group perceived the instruction positively in cognitive and motivational aspects.

Development of Technology·Home Economics teaching-learning plans using ARCS strategies to improve character for middle school students: Focusing on the unit of 'Understanding families' (인성교육을 위해 기술·가정교과 '가족의 이해' 단원에 ARCS 동기유발 전략을 적용한 교수·학습 과정안 개발 및 평가)

  • The purposes of this study were to develop and apply teaching-learning plans using ARCS strategies to improve character of middle school students and analyze whether a home economics class helps to give positive effects on youth character change. Nine-period classes were conducted for 110 male students in 4 classes of M middle school in Gwangju metropolitan city for 5 weeks from March 6 through April 7 in 2017. The effectiveness of classes were examined with learners' class assessment and pre- and post- character index test. The research steps and results in this study are as follows. First, the teaching-learning plans for 9 periods were developed for the character education class of the chapter 'Understanding families'. These teaching and learning course plans were designed to enhance learner's interests in learning using ARCS motivational strategy and improve character of middle school students in consideration of character elements. In the chapter 'Understanding families' of Technology Home Economics in middle school, the teaching-learning plans for 9 periods, 14 student activity sheets, and 2 powerpoint materials for teaching and learning were developed. Second, students who had the character education classes using ARCS motivational strategy showed significant differences in all character elements. Therefore, the character education class using ARCS shows positive effects to build up character of middle school students. Third, the character education classes using ARCS motivational strategy increased the class satisfaction of learners. The character education class teaching and learning course plans and learning materials in Technology Home Economics using ARCS motivational strategy will be used as a basic resource to build up students' character in the future.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 급변하고 있는 대학교육의 발전 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 교육을 서비스품질 관점에서 바라볼 때, 대학은 고객중심적인(학생중심적인) 서비스 품질 제공 노력이 무엇보다 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 대학교육서비스 품질개념의 틀을 기존의 이론을 통해서 도출하였다. 이를 통해서 대학발전방향의 요인들을 제시하고 고객(학생)이 자발적으로 행동하는 유발 서비스 차원을 제시하기로 한다. 이를 위해 동기부여의 이론에 대하여 고찰하기로 한다.

  • 스마트 러닝에 대표적으로 사용되는 스마트 보드는 학생들에게 향상된 동기부여와, 적극적인 수업 참여를 불러일으키고, 어플리케이션을 직접 조작함으로서 흥미를 주고, 주의집중도를 향상시키며, 개인차를 고려하여 학습에 기여했다. 그러나 학생들에게 환영을 받았던 스마트 보드의 새롭고 흥미로운 이점들은 오래가지 못했다. 학생들의 동기부여는 지속되지 못했으며, 어떠한 성과도 나타나지 않았다. 그러므로, 스마트 보드는 적절한 가르침의 전략과, 방법, 기술을 조화롭게 사용하여 바라는 영향을 달성해야 한다.
